As Su Deng was parrying with her dagger, a whooshing sound rang in her ears. A silver streak, accompanied by a gust of wind, flew out from behind her, piercing straight through the bird monster's body and pinning him to the wall of the hut.
It was a silver spear with dark green flame patterns wrapped around its shaft.
