It's well-deserved that this task has now been handed over to Top.
The facts proved that Top was an excellent thrower. The stones he threw from a height of more than 1,000 meters were even faster, reaching the speed of some bullets.
Top can precisely control the range of a thrown stone within five to ten meters. Achieving such a range of error at a height of 1,000 meters is already quite remarkable.
Furthermore, Top didn't throw the pebbles one by one, but rather several pebbles in succession.
It's like someone is holding a shotgun in the sky and pointing it at your head all the time. Wouldn't you be scared?
These are even more effective against hordes of Haru's army, which they simply cannot defend against. Their only option is to break up their formation to avoid being hit.
Previously, Pat used pebbles, just throwing a handful down randomly based on feeling, leaving it to chance whether he hit anything.
Moreover, the sustained firepower output is insufficient, and the intervals are often quite long, making it very difficult for Pat to fly back and forth.
But this time was different; I used that bag as Top's mobile "ammunition depot."
The pebbles inside don't need to be too big, just the size of a thumb is enough, so that Pat can take Top with more "ammunition" into the air.
Even if Pat gets tired, there are plenty of tall trees in the rainforest, so it can just take Top to fly up into a tree and rest for a bit.
At first, the Haru wanted to target Pat and the others, but when Pat and Top stopped to rest in the tree, they saw that Pat had stopped.
They tried to shoot with bows and arrows, but unfortunately their broken tools couldn't even reach the treetops, let alone hit Top and Pat.
Haru was still determined to kill that wretched harpy eagle and that damned monkey.
So they decided to climb the tree again and shoot the two guys with their bows and arrows.
But Pat and Top have been with me for so long, they're no longer those innocent and ignorant wild beasts.
The trees are Top’s territory, and Pat, as a bird of prey that hunts in the jungle, has eyes that are not for nothing.
They've both become incredibly clever under my tutelage; catching them isn't an easy task.
Haru's every move was under the watchful eyes of Top and Pat, who had come to know that Haru's greatest weapon was nothing more than his bow and arrows.
Every time Haru climbed to the top of the tree and stood firm, he would try to use his bow and arrows to deal with Top and the others.
Pat, who was already restless, yawned lazily and then took off with Top.
Before leaving, he didn't forget to shoot a stream of hot, fresh tofu pudding from his buttocks straight into Haru's face, at which point Haru let out an angry shout.
Unexpectedly, Top's cooling milk tea suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The golden, still warm milk tea made Naharu cough repeatedly, probably because he drank too much in his excitement and choked.
This combination of attacks wasn't very damaging, but it was extremely insulting. The Haru people in the trees gritted their teeth in anger, shouting and cursing loudly.
However, they could only watch helplessly as Pat flew away right under their noses.
There's nothing you can do. It's your mother's fault for not giving you wings when you were born. So what's the point of you jumping around in the trees now?
Are you in a hurry?
It's okay to be in a hurry, anyway, Pat isn't in a hurry, we can fly.
Watching the Haru jumping around on the branches in a fit of pique, Pat and Top found it quite amusing to tease these guys.
They climbed the trees with great effort, but Pat only needed to flap his wings and fly to a tree further away to rest. No matter what, Haru could not catch up with Pat and the others.
After several unsuccessful attempts, Haru stopped targeting Pat and Top and instead vented his anger on the three of us poor souls.
They know that the eagle and monkey in the sky are under our command, which is why Haru is so ruthless in trying to kill us as soon as possible.
If things continue like this, who knows how many more of our comrades will die at the hands of these despicable and shameless scoundrels.
Many of their companions have already been hit in the head by stones thrown by Top, and that sense of uncertainty and horror has been hanging over Haru. They are now under tremendous psychological pressure.
If this matter isn't resolved quickly, they might go crazy on their own.
So they've stopped scheming; they can't afford to play anymore; they've given up.
Now, Haru takes drugs and attacks as soon as they meet, dying a fair and square death under swords is much more satisfying than being brutally beaten to death by those two beasts.
Only Tang Yi and his group could possibly drive these hundred or so Haru elites to such a desperate and suicidal state.
This isn't some assassination attempt on three natives; Haru feels like he's storming into the gates of hell, where one wrong move and he'll be dead.
Now, Haru, who had lost all hope, had the courage to fight to the death, and their attacks became exceptionally reckless.
Based on the principle of "it's either you or me," Tang Yi forced these Haru to squeeze out an additional one percent of their potential, even though the mushrooms had already pushed their bodies to their limits.
Now, Haru seemed to see Tang Yi and the others being held back, and Haru seemed to see a glimmer of hope.
At this moment, Chief Haru wept bitterly, so moved that he wanted to kneel down and kowtow to the heavens. Damn, these three people were just too difficult to kill.
However, before Chief Haru could even indulge in his self-pity, a sharp, mournful wail echoed from high above.
That was the popping sound of pebbles flying through the air, and Pat and Top's new round of bombardment had begun.
Top dropped a handful of stones with pinpoint accuracy from high above. This living devil was like an aerial anti-aircraft gun; anyone hit by stones from a thousand meters in the air would be either killed or crippled.
Chief Haru gritted his teeth in anger. Every time it was at such a crucial moment, those two beasts in the sky would jump out and cause trouble.
If I weren't wingless and unable to fly, I would have chased those two beasts to the ends of the earth and hacked them to death!
At this moment, many more Haru let out cries of agony. Those who could still cry out were alright, but some unlucky ones couldn't even cry out anymore and were lying flat on the ground.
Haru had a tacit understanding of how to handle this situation, and without any reminder from the Haru leader, they immediately splashed out in all directions like drops of water falling into boiling oil.
However, even though the Haru were scattered, they showed no intention of leaving and continued to rush towards Tang Yi and the others' location.
As they ran, they ate double the dose of mushrooms; they didn't want to wait any longer, their hearts were in too much agony.
Haru now regards life and death as something external; even if we all perish together today, we cannot let these three people escape alive.
The dispersion of Haru immediately halved the effectiveness of the air strikes. A few Haru were hit, but compared to the large number of Haru whose potential was now being pushed to the limit, these few were insignificant.
