Chapter 395...

In the eyes of the indigenous people, a house is only for sleeping. There's no need to put other random things inside.

The fact that they laid out this animal skin already treated us like honored guests; the natives of the Asaida tribe, including their chief, slept directly on hay.

The indigenous people felt that sleeping on hay was already very comfortable, and there was no need to make things so complicated.

They were all as big as water buffaloes; I doubt I'd feel uncomfortable even if they slept on the floor.

After settling into their lodgings, members of the tribe worked together to carry a large prey to the open space in the center of the village.

Like the previous Mila tribe, this place also has a large activity center similar to a plaza.

It is generally used for holding large-scale events in the tribe, and for all tribe members to gather here when making important decisions.

The fact that our leader has put on such a show today clearly indicates that he places us in a very high position.

However, we know that this is probably only one aspect, and the leader must have some important news to share with everyone next.

When I first saw the chief of the Asaida tribe, I didn't get the impression that he was just a brute with strength. His eyes were gentle and reserved, and he seemed to be a man of great wisdom.

The tribe's ability to thrive in this barren land is inextricably linked to the enormous man before them.

This is also the first time I've seen a gathering of tribes other than the Mira tribe. I heard that the prey brought back by the powerful Asada tribe is huge.

However, I'm still quite curious about what exactly a prey they call "big" looks like.

But when we saw the prey, we were all dumbfounded, especially me, who, despite having a tiny bit of knowledge, stared wide-eyed.

"This... this can't even be called big! It's terrifying!"

The prey was indeed being carried up, but not in whole; it was being carried up in batches.

At least several dozen strong and robust Asaida natives lined up in a long queue, like ants carrying food.

The dismembered carcasses were carried by the natives to the center of the field, where the meat was piled up into a mountain of flesh nearly three meters high.

I felt a chill run down my spine. I had thought these Asidar warriors would be fierce, but I never imagined they would be this fierce.

I knew what this prey they brought was just by looking at its enormous head.

Although this creature is a sub-adult, its meat weight is estimated to be over 8 tons, several tons heavier than a modern African elephant.

This thing isn't a mammal; it's a species that went extinct 65 million years ago. Yes, it's a genuine dinosaur, and one of the largest dinosaurs at that—a Diplodocus!

- Brachiosaurus was one of the longest animals ever to have ever existed on Earth, with an average length of 27 meters and a maximum length of over 50 meters, and a weight of about 10 tons.

- The distance between their neck and tail can be an astonishing 21 to 22 meters, and the distance from their head to their tail can even exceed 30 meters.

Their long, slender, and flexible tails, known as whip-like tails, helped Diplodocus maintain its balance and also served as a weapon for defense against enemies.

- Lianglong had a small, delicate head with nostrils on the top of its head. It had flat teeth at the front of its mouth, but no teeth on the sides and back.

The forelegs of the Brachiosaurus were shorter than its hind legs, and each foot had five toes, a structure that made it easier for them to control their center of gravity.

Diplodocus was a herbivore that mainly fed on leaves and ferns. It did not chew its food but swallowed it whole.

I was shocked at how they managed to kill a several-ton Brachiosaurus. Even we would have had to put in a lot of effort.

Their weapons were nothing more than stone axes and those low-grade bows and arrows, unless they were using poison or similar methods.

However, Dante immediately rejected my idea. The Asedar warriors revered fighting wild beasts in the wild, believing that this would enhance the courage of their tribe.

Holy crap...

I couldn't help but marvel at how fierce the Maasai people of Africa were, able to single-handedly confront savanna lions and steal their food.

Unexpectedly, there are even more aggressive tribes here, all sharing the same ideals and principles.

However, the Asaida warriors generally looked down on prey like lions, and instead went straight for the dinosaurs!

A bonfire roared into the sky in the center of the field, and women from the Asaida tribe were meticulously cutting up the meat of their prey with stone knives.

However, they don't handle meat like I do, cutting it into small pieces before cooking. Their method of preparing meat is as rough as their appearance.

The large pile of meat was probably divided into large slices of meat weighing two kilograms each, which were almost three times thicker than the steaks used in Western cuisine!

However, you can't blame them. Looking at their burly figures, they must have eaten a lot of food. But eating two kilograms of food in one meal is still quite frightening.

The women of the tribe threw the slices of meat directly into the hot coals nearby, and the meat sizzled as it came into contact with the scorching coals.

Brutal, absolutely brutal cooking methods!

Su Su and the others used to cook food in a similar way, but after eating my cooking, she gained a much better understanding of cooking.

Seeing the fine meat being treated so roughly by those indigenous women, Su Su frowned.

Moreover, Su Su learned from these locals that, in order to entertain our friends who had come from afar, they had specially invited the women in the tribe who were the best cooks.

At this moment, beside these indigenous women, in addition to the "meat slices" that had been cut into the same way that only supermarkets and butcher shops would dry, there was also a ceramic basin filled with blood at their feet.

Perhaps due to the time elapsed, the blood had already congealed into a single mass. Seeing this, I roughly knew how these indigenous women would cook these "meat slices" next.

The meat on the side facing the embers was quickly dried out. The indigenous women used sticks to flip the meat slices over and then knocked off the bits of charcoal stuck to them.

They then reached directly into the earthenware basin filled with blood, scooped out a clump of sticky blood, and slapped it onto the dried meat slices, before crushing, grinding, and spreading it evenly.

They performed all their actions in one smooth motion, and even glanced at us with a hint of pride, just like Su Su had looked at me back then, thinking that these guests probably had never seen such amazing culinary skills before.

We couldn't say anything at that moment, so we could only awkwardly offer a smile. You know what, this was truly the first time we'd ever seen such amazing culinary skills.

This technique reminds me of Indians; their culinary skills are quite similar in some ways.
