Chapter 23: It's Bigfoot

As the shadow on the ground emerged and got closer, I saw a species covered in extremely thick brown-gray hair walking out. It looked like an adult ape, with a protruding forehead, extremely thick lips, and long and strong arms. However, unlike ordinary apes, it could stand normally, had extremely large feet, and a skeletal structure similar to that of humans. Most importantly, it was over two meters tall, and I had to look up to see its eyes.

What surprised me most was its deep and long eyes, like that of a wise sage with broad knowledge.

The person who comes is definitely not a good person!

I couldn't help but take two steps back. This must be the monster itself. I also seemed to remember seeing similar reports in newspapers in the past, and there were some black and white photos.

At this moment, I remembered the name and couldn't help but say it out loud: "Shennongjia Wild Man?"

The Shennongjia Wild Man is a kind of wild man with reddish-brown hair that was discovered in Shennongjia in China. Of course, it also has other names, such as the "Snowman" that appeared in the Himalayas, and the well-known legendary monster, Bigfoot!

Its majestic and tall body was filled with a savage primitive power. Just standing there, I was terrified and had countless thoughts of running away.

Thinking of the crushed killer crab shell, the broken wooden waist of the scarecrow, and the record about the monster in the refugee's diary, everything symbolizes that this tall and ferocious Bigfoot cannot be violated, challenged or resisted!

Powerful, swift, and cunning, it is the king here, the top hunter in all food chains here, and to it, I am just a slightly larger piece of meat, not worth mentioning at all!

It's not like I haven't fought against soldiers who were taller than me, but it's just not the same...

I thought it was just a legendary species, but I didn't expect to encounter it in my lifetime!

"Hurry up..." Yunwen was carried under the armpit of the Bigfoot, so her voice sounded thin and staccato.

I don't know where I got the courage from. Maybe it was because I saw Yunwen trapped. I took a step forward and pointed the M9 bayonet at the bigfoot. My legs were shaking, but I held it with my left hand and said, "Hey, big guy, put her down! She is my friend, please put her down, or I will be rude to you."

I could tell my own warning was fake, but it had no effect on Bigfoot. It still stood there, mocking me or even performing a monkey show.

"Hey! Put it down!" I moved closer and shouted.

Its brows were slightly furrowed, and its ferocious face was slightly wrinkled.

I know that I am playing with fire and getting burned, but if I don't care, it means that Yunwen will be like the guy who wrote the diary, with no follow-up and her life or death uncertain. I can't do that.

I plucked up my courage and continued to move closer. The closer I got, the more I realized that it was like a small hill in front of me, with thick brown and black hair that seemed to have no end.

It still stood there, and I wondered if it understood what I meant, so it cautiously reached out its hand to touch Yunwen, intending to take it.

Unexpectedly, just when I was relaxing myself, I saw its eyes looking downward with a weird expression, and I immediately realized that something was wrong!

Click!

It suddenly grabbed my neck with its hands. I felt a pressure stronger than that of a jack squeezing the trachea in my neck. My neck bones began to ache.

"roar!"

It roared at me, declaring its majesty to me.

"Let him go..." Yunwen hit Bigfoot's chest with her soft and weak fists, but it was almost the same as massaging him.

I tried hard to calm myself down. If I stayed calm for more than ten seconds, I would become unconscious. I had to extricate myself from the emergency situation, otherwise I would die instantly and would not be able to do anything. The more urgent the situation, the more important it was to keep my brain clear.

At this moment, I saw that it was tightly grasping my neck, with its elbows straight and wrists stiff. This was the flaw!

Lao Tzu said: "Those who are too hard are easily broken, but those who are gentle are invincible."

If it doesn't understand this principle, it will be a big mistake. This is my chance to counterattack it.

I immediately took advantage of the strength in its hand and jumped up along with the momentum. I lifted my legs and crossed them at its elbows. I grabbed its thumb with my left hand and exerted force suddenly. A gap opened in its hand. I took advantage of the momentum to flip its wrist with my right hand. Its entire hand bone was twisted by me, and my legs clamped its elbows tightly. It had no strength to move and could only lower its shoulders and kneel down to dissipate my strength.

I pulled its fingers apart with all my strength to make it feel pain. It grimaced in pain and roared, shaking me up and down, trying to break free, but I didn't give it any chance and let it struggle. It had no choice but to put down Yunwen in its right hand and use its right hand to hit me, trying to get me off its arm.

Bang!

With a swing, a small hole was created on the floor.

Luckily I saw the movement, heard the sound, and dodged, otherwise my head would have been turned into pulp!

With a click, I twisted its hand bones violently, causing them to dislocate and jump off. I quickly pulled Yunwen up and ran away.

"roar!!"

It's furious!

I saw that its left hand was drooping for the time being, but its right hand was still strong. It immediately pulled up a tree trunk of the same height as itself, and swung it towards me with one hand.

When I heard the noise, I hurriedly took Yunwen and lay down, but the branch still tore a bloody wound on my scalp, and I screamed in pain!

Blood flowed down, making my neck sticky. I didn't have time to cover it up, and it immediately launched another attack. This time it came down vertically. I quickly pushed Yunwen away and rolled over, and there was a bang!

The tree trunks were broken! The deafening sound...

"Oh shit!" I was so scared that my scalp went numb.

I picked up a stone on the ground and threw it over, hitting it on the head. Then I quickly pulled Yunwen up and ran forward quickly.

“Waaaaaaaaa…”

It roared so loudly that all the birds in the woods were scared away, and the wild beasts that had been following me also hid in the woods and disappeared!

I ran with Yunwen as fast as we could.

It was chasing after me, and the rumbling sound of its footsteps was creepy!

With a whoosh, a stone as big as my head flew past my ear and with a loud bang, it smashed a tree in half!

Only then did I understand what the line between life and death meant.

In the panic, I didn't know where we were running to. I could only run to where there were more trees. I didn't have any second choice or concerns, because a slight break could mean the difference between life and death. So I couldn't stop to think, and I didn't have the opportunity.

Yunwen couldn't stand running any longer, and I saw a narrow hole not far ahead, so I had to quickly take her in. While there was still some time, I took off my underwear, wiped the blood off my scalp, ran to the other side of the woods and threw it there, then ran back.

He kept his distance from us because he was too big and couldn't move through the woods as fast as us. That's why I had enough time to throw the bloody clothes out to mislead him in another direction.

Yunwen and I hid in this small cave, and tried to dig up as much grass and soil as possible to cover up the smell.

The Bigfoot rushed all the way down and was panting at a distance from us. It was not misled by me, but continued to come towards us, towards this side of the cave. These little tricks really couldn't fool it.

"It's over..." I muttered in despair.
