Upon receiving the notification, Song Chengyang and Feng Yanyan began preparations, intending to arrive in Kyoto a day earlier than planned.
"Yanyan, you said you have relatives in Kyoto. What do they do?" Song Chengyang asked while packing his things.
"Before the apocalypse, my aunt's family ran a business, and my cousin was in the army. I don't know what he's doing now!" She sighed deeply. "I don't even know if we can find him!"
Looking at all these clothes, Chengyang thought, "With my current figure, nothing looks good on me!"
Looking at Feng Yanyan's slightly protruding belly, Song Chengyang said, "Then wear maternity clothes!" Looking at the woman who was frowning, he added, "Actually, maternity clothes are quite pretty. I remember she especially liked wearing them back then."
"Song Chengyang, are you regretting it?" Feng Yanyan felt a pang of sadness seeing her man reminiscing about someone else.
Song Chengyang quickly hugged the woman and coaxed her, "Yanyan, don't think nonsense. I just said it offhand. You are the one I love most now!"
"That's more like it. Actually, Sister Leng is really great! I really envy her." Feng Yanyan said with a longing expression.
"Feng Yanyan! Explain clearly what you envy about her?" Song Chengyang said, feigning anger.
"Hahaha... I envy her being like a queen!" With that, he dashed away.
Song Chengyang hurriedly shouted, "Be careful, I'm not teasing you anymore!"
Jia Guwen and Gao Sheng, as local representatives, arrived even earlier.
Gao Sheng looked at Jia Guwen with mixed feelings. He might have been jealous of him before, but now he couldn't even reach him. "Old Jia, are you going to follow your son or stay here to develop your career?"
Jia Guwen glanced at Gao Sheng, surprised that everything had changed so much in just a few days. "I only have this one son, and I want to go with them!"
Gao Sheng nodded, "I understand!" Thinking of her daughter Yuanyuan, she couldn't help but sigh softly.
Seeing Jia Guwen's gaze, she exclaimed, "Old Jia, I really envy you! Ayi is such a good kid, it's just that Yuanyuan isn't lucky!!!"
Jia Guwen also knew some things about his family. "Old Gao, don't worry too much. Children and grandchildren have their own blessings! Yuanyuan will understand one day!"
Gao Sheng was heartbroken. The thought of his daughter being completely swayed by several men made him feel incredibly aggrieved. He had tried to persuade her countless times, but the child always said, "If Leng Fengmei can have several men, why can't I?"
How can you compare these things? They treated each other with genuine sincerity, while her daughter almost squandered the family fortune to support those men.
Above Goddess Village, Moses was patrolling in his mutated eagle when he heard the buzzing of a helicopter in the distance. He quickly flew over to investigate—"Emil!"
The two landed on the mountaintop at the same time. "How did you get here?" Moses asked in confusion.
“I’ve come to see my father, and I’ll try to contact my master again!” Emil said to Moses with a smile.
Moses also knew some things about him. "Then go find your father first, and then I will take you to contact your master."
Upon hearing this, Emil couldn't hide his delight. "I'm going to see my father right now, wait for me!" He hadn't expected things to go so smoothly.
Moses shook his head helplessly, suddenly remembering that his Scarlett had been having a poor appetite lately because of her pregnancy, and was vomiting everything she ate.
Hurry up and fetch a bucket of hot spring water; the owner said the water here is very good for your health! He's never even brought his beloved Scarlett here.
He didn't know why, but he just didn't want anyone to touch his owner's things.
Abbas was feeding the chickens in his little country yard when he saw his son running over excitedly. He thought to himself, "This child knows he misses his father." "Father, are you here?"
"Good, good, everything's fine!" she said, patting her son's strong body. "How's your management of Klit going?"
"When I got back, I ran into a rebellion. They thought we were all going to die! So I chopped them into pieces and fed them to the mutated beasts!!!" Emil became more and more excited as he spoke.
Abbas looked at his straightforward son and asked, "How well have you done what your master asked you to do?"
Emil thought for a moment and said, "I forbid them from killing innocent people indiscriminately. They should all live in peace. Anyone who disobeys me will be killed!"
"Does Klit still have anyone left?" Abbas suddenly asked with some concern.
Emil suddenly felt a little guilty. "Yes, but it's less than before... half!"
Abbas suddenly slapped his thigh. "You! Don't tell your master, or she'll definitely beat you up!"
Emil's eyes lit up immediately upon hearing this, "Really?"
Abbas noticed something was off about his son's expression. "That woman's ruthless! Don't take this lightly."
"I understand, Father! I'll be going now if you're alright." Daniel said and disappeared.
Abbas felt like the child was on fire, and he didn't know what the rush was!
"Moses, take me there quickly!" Emil said urgently.
Moses had just handed the water to Scarlett when he heard Emil calling anxiously, "Coming!"
In less than a quarter of an hour, the two men, riding a mutated eagle, arrived at a green grassland filled with strange rocks.
“This is it!” Moses said.
The two sensed their master's location simultaneously. "Master, are you there?"
Leng Fengmei was packing her things to leave. Everyone had partied all night and was still full of energy thanks to the superhumans' bodies. The ordinary people were in a terrible state, looking listless. They had no choice but to ask Jia Renyi to give each of them a vial of energy water essence.
"Amei, these are the research results of the plant leaves you gave me that time!" Jia Renyi hadn't expected to find this while tidying up.
