Zhou Jianye remained silent for a long time, looking at the still silent Zhang Biao, "Zhang Biao, what are you thinking?"
Zhang Biao glanced at Luo Hongxing, thinking about his son's words. It seemed like he was about to cause trouble!
But there's no point in saying anything else in this situation. "Since everyone has made up their minds, I have no objections. It's just that my son, Xiaoshuai, has always wanted to go out and gain experience, so let him go with me!"
"I hope Commander Luo will take good care of me." He then looked at Luo Hongxing.
"Heh, Commander Zhang, you flatter me. If you're worried, you should keep it at home. I can't afford to take responsibility if anything happens to it!" Luo Hongxing sneered.
"As long as it wasn't intentional, it's all his fate, and I, Zhang, won't blame anyone!" He added, a ruthless glint in his eyes. "But if anyone dares to lay a hand on my son, don't blame me for being impolite!"
Seeing the two of them on the verge of a fight, Zhou Jianye quickly tried to smooth things over, "Alright, alright, you two can't stand not bickering when you meet, can you?"
"In that case, let's go together! If anyone dares to cause trouble, I won't stand idly by!"
Zhou Jianye's voice was serious, and his eyes swept over the crowd like sharp blades, exuding the aura of a superior!
Xiao Zhiqiang received Caiyun's message that it was already evening, so he quickly went to find Professor Jia.
"What happened to Amei? What is she doing? Why does she need so many things?" Jia Renyi was full of questions. Hearing news about his beloved only made him more worried.
"My master is too far away, I can't contact him. Caiyun came back to tell me what to prepare!" Xiao Zhiqiang explained patiently, which was rare for him.
"Too far! How far is it?" He said, while showing Xiao Zhiqiang all the things he had recently developed.
Labeling each item and sealing them, Xiao Zhiqiang looked at the half-full truckload of goods and couldn't help but admire Professor Jia's abilities.
The two settled their accounts, and Xiao Zhiqiang took all the belongings, divided them into several portions, and tied them to the backs of the mutated eagles—a total of one hundred mutated eagles. He wondered if their master was eating well outside!
He also prepared some compressed food and canned salted fish that could be stored for a long time for his owner.
Thinking back to the supplies they asked for, those people must be very poor.
Everyone was working diligently, and Leng Fengmei's group was also nearing its end. Basil led his people to fill in the massive crater of ten thousand people, as they couldn't bear to leave their people's bodies exposed in the wilderness. The huge burial mound resembled a small mountain.
Amos and Daniel also agreed on their story to delay as much as possible—no one would come for at least a month, which was the maximum they could do!
That night, everyone went to bed early. Oscar hesitated at Leng Fengmei's door for a long time, but he didn't have the courage to knock. He thought about his master's words and suddenly felt an indescribable pain in his heart.
Daniel looked at Oscar, who returned dejectedly, and said with a mocking look in his eyes, "You're no different from me. But I thank you for standing up for me, but I won't give up for anyone! Even if she doesn't like me, I will still become the most important person in her heart."
Daniel didn't expect an answer and turned over to sleep.
Oscar tossed and turned all night, and in the morning, with dark circles under his eyes, he prepared breakfast for Leng Fengmei. "He wants to win her heart too!"
The more unsettled Leng Fengmei was, the more she forced herself to calm down. Just after she finished washing up, she heard Oscar knocking on the door!
"Master, I've brought you breakfast!"
Leng Fengmei opened the door and immediately noticed Oscar's dark circles. "What's wrong? Didn't you sleep well?" she asked, reaching out to take the bag.
“I’ll do it!” Oscar said, walking around the host and placing the item on the coffee table.
Looking at the stubborn back of the young man, Leng Fengmei couldn't help but chuckle to herself. He was so young; all his emotions were written on his face!
Seeing Oscar about to leave after putting down his things, she reached out and grabbed him, pinning him against the door. She looked at him with slightly narrowed eyes and asked, "Oscar, how old are you?"
Oscar's heart pounded wildly at the sudden wall-pinning by his master, and his mind went blank! "I'm 21 years old," he said, swallowing hard as he looked at his master's pink lips.
"Why are you acting like a child, throwing a tantrum!" Leng Fengmei smiled as she watched him suppress his emotions.
"I...I didn't!" Seeing the teasing look in his master's eyes, Oscar's voice grew increasingly weak. His fists clenched tightly, and his eyes welled up with tears of grievance. So this is what it feels like to love someone!
Leng Fengmei never imagined that she would owe so many emotional debts in her life!
He hooked his arm around Oscar's neck and kissed his slightly trembling lips. It was unintentional at first, but now it was intentional!
Oscar lowered his head and responded eagerly. His master was so sweet and soft, until their hearts raced and their breathing became heavier and heavier!
Leng Fengmei gently pushed him away, buried her face in Oscar's chest, listened to his frantic heartbeat, and muttered, "You're different."
Her heart had been lonely for too long, and now the road ahead was uncertain. She wasn't sure if she could get what she wanted, so what difference would it make if she gave others a glimmer of hope?
Oscar felt a warm current flow through his heart, dispelling all the gloom. He hugged the woman in his arms tightly, "Master, I'm so happy!"
"Let's not keep everyone waiting, let's eat together!" Leng Fengmei said to Oscar as if coaxing a child.
“Hmm!” Oscar looked at his master with a smile in his eyes.
Daniel watched as the two of them walked out of the room at the same time. Oscar seemed very happy, his eyes flickered, but he didn't say anything in the end!
Moses and Zhang Er encountered a herd of mutated beasts on their journey. Moses sensed that they were of the same kind, so they came here together!
After informing the guards, I didn't disturb the master and simply found a place to stay!
