Leng Fengmei was filled with questions. Looking at Shapi, she said in a deep voice, "Can you tell me what's going on?"
She stared intently at its mouth, trying to see how it would speak to her; she had clearly heard it call her "master" just now!
Unexpectedly, without moving its mouth, its voice rang in my mind again, "Because you have the aura of the Beast God on you!" At this moment, Shar-Pei's expression looked exactly like a person.
"One night, I was being chased by dog traffickers. Many stones fell from the sky, and several of my pursuers were either killed or injured. When I opened my eyes, I saw a bright light, and then I awakened and gained wisdom and power!
Leng Fengmei looked at it with surprise as it repeated the statement and imitated it.
"So, I've been possessed by your Beast God, and now I have his abilities. What if he comes back one day and tries to possess me?" Leng Fengmei asked nervously. She suddenly remembered that seductive voice from that night.
"No, Master! The Beast God is the ruler of all things. He is kind and will not force anyone!" Shar-Pee looked into the distance with an expression of adoration.
Leng Fengmei felt a chill run down her spine. She couldn't believe it; there's no such thing as a free lunch!
If it were just her alone, that would be one thing, but she also has two daughters. If she were in someone else's body, who would truly care for them?
Shar-Peis heard its master's thoughts and said urgently, "No, no, the Beast God has never harmed any innocent life since the beginning of time, so you can rest assured!"
"I hope so! I have to go home. Now that you're not afraid of being exposed, find somewhere yourself. You're too big for my house...you..."
Before Leng Fengmei could finish speaking, Shapi's body slowly shrank, becoming less than her calf height. She couldn't help but chuckle, "You little thing, you've made up your mind to follow me."
She bent down and picked him up, saying, "We have to hurry, or my family will worry about me."

Leng Fengmei smiled and placed the sandpaper on the ground.
"Are you hungry? I've made dinner, go and have some." After saying that, Dad went to get the food.
"Okay, I'll take a shower first before eating. We'll talk later!" Leng Fengmei said as she went to the bathroom.
I was thinking of bringing Shar Pei in to wash him too, but then I remembered he's a grown-up little boy, so I decided against it and will have his dad wash him later.
Thinking back to that seductive voice from that day, I wonder if it has anything to do with this beast god.
"Forget it, I won't think about things I can't figure out!" After years of hardship, Leng Fengmei has become accustomed to letting things take their course.
I was even hungrier after taking a shower. I hadn't eaten properly all day. I tried to eat slowly and carefully, but I finished it in just a few bites. Everyone says that wolfing down food makes you fat, but I just can't control myself!
She drank another glass of warm water, and seeing the big black cat looking at her, she got up and went into the bedroom.
Seeing that everyone was looking at her, she picked up her somewhat stained backpack and found an unused mat to spread on the bed.
"Mom, what are you doing?" Xiao Bao asked curiously.
"Guess?" Leng Fengmei said with a smile.
"I can't guess! Mom, you have to reveal the answer." Xiao Bao said, looking at his mother.
Leng Fengmei used to play riddles with her two children. Whenever they couldn't guess the answer, Leng Fengmei would say, "I'm going to reveal the answer now!"
Seeing the curious stares directed at her, Leng Fengmei slowly opened her backpack and poured all the crystal cores onto the mat with a "whoosh." Under the light, they immediately emitted a dazzling glow.
"Wow! It's so beautiful!" Xinbao pounced on it.
Hanhan looked at this and then at that.
Song Chengyang looked at Leng Fengmei excitedly, "This is..."
"Yes, mutated rat cores. They didn't dare come out during the day, so I killed them by blocking the door."
After Leng Fengmei finished speaking, she picked up the Shar Pei and stroked its soft fur while looking at Da Hei and said, "Sha Pei took the initiative to form a contract with me. Although it is a master-servant contract, I will treat it as my family."

Dahei nodded, looking at Leng Fengmei. Dahei had its own little thoughts, and she understood them immediately. If she followed an unreliable master without knowing why and accidentally lost her life, it would be better not to go out during the day!
"It's alright, everyone has the right to choose. After all, no one knows the outcome. We still have two days before we leave, so you can take your time to think it over." Leng Fengmei didn't want to talk about this anymore and looked at her father, "What about you? What did you do today?"
