“My son is only a few years older than you, but he’s much stronger than you! He’s never been swayed by personal feelings for his children. He’s the second strongest warrior in our Kreet tribe,” Abbas said with a proud look on his face.
“You, the first warrior, were beaten to a pulp by your master. How much better can your son be? What are you so proud of?” Moses said with disdain. He felt that listening to his rambling was better than letting himself think wildly, so he let him be.
“No, how many women in this world are as fierce as your master?” Abbas instantly lost interest in the conversation.
"That's right, my master is a goddess!" Moses found himself happy to see him get the short end of the stick.
Abbas was about to say "witch" would be more appropriate, but fearing the boy would beat him up again, he held back!
The two of them drifted off to sleep, and after an unknown amount of time, Abbas suddenly opened his eyes and felt that he had regained most of his strength. He was overjoyed!
He looked at Moses sleeping soundly beside him, and suddenly raised his hand, wanting to kill him so he could escape. But then he remembered that this silly boy had stayed with him all night, and slowly lowered his hand again!
"Never mind, he's just a harmless kid," he thought quietly, turning to slip away. But as soon as he turned back, he gasped in shock. The mutated giant python had its enormous mouth agape and was staring straight at him!
Startled, he sat back down. Moses heard the noise and, seeing that he could move again, quickly went to call his master!
Last night, Leng Fengmei used her divine sense to observe them. She saw him chatting casually with Moses without any purpose, so she let them be, only instructing the dragon to keep a close eye on him!
She hadn't slept well because she had something on her mind, so she opened her eyes as soon as Moses came in.
"Master, he can move!" Moses said anxiously.
As dawn broke, Leng Fengmei figured Jia Renyi and the others would be arriving soon. "Moses," she said, "prepare food for two more people today. Professor Jia and Zhou Zhan will be here soon."
Moses was stunned for a moment. "Master... are they your lovers?"
Moses knew that this place held something important, and it was impossible for anyone not bound by the master's contract to know this secret. He had heard Xiao Zhiqiang mention those two people before; they both loved the master!
"Yes!" Leng Fengmei said and walked out. Looking at Abbas sitting blankly on the ground, she heard the dragon's voice in her mind, "Master wanted to harm Moses just now, but then he stopped. Otherwise, I would have bitten him to death."
"Hmm, Shenlong, you did a good job!" With that, she grabbed Abbas and said coldly, "Do you know that the last vestige of your humanity saved your own life?"
Abbas had already sensed something was wrong. The snake had appeared at the perfect moment, as if a pair of eyes were watching his every move!
"How much power do you still have?" Abbas did not resist, letting the woman tie him to the tree again, because he knew that it was useless for him to resist. Even in his prime, he was no match for her, let alone now!
"You don't deserve to know!" Leng Fengmei took out a spray and turned him into a limp noodle again!
"I'm not running anymore, okay? Don't waste all your good stuff!" Abbas yelled pitifully at the woman. He truly felt despair!
