Chapter 11 A married daughter is like water spilled from a bowl.

Leng Fengmei took out an energy core and a meteorite fragment from her backpack, which immediately startled the old man so much that he almost jumped up. "This...this is..."

Seeing her mother's incoherent speech, Leng Fengmei grabbed her hand and pulled her close to the meteorite fragment, bringing her closer to the energy stone that everyone dreamed of possessing.

"Grandma, absorb it quickly!" Hanhan was raised by her grandma, so they are naturally close.

Xin Xin's face was sour. "That's what Mom almost died to get..." Leng Fengmei didn't dare to continue the conversation, afraid that she would start crying and never stop.

The cold-stricken mother felt a warm current slowly flowing through her entire body, a comfort she had never experienced before. Looking at her eldest daughter's family, she was filled with emotion.

"Mom! Concentrate!" Seeing that her mother was about to say something, Leng Fengmei gently stopped her.

"I'll go boil some water. Let's all wash our hair; it's so sticky we can't sleep." After saying that, Song Cheng's father quickly gathered some firewood and boiled half a pot of water. The group washed their hair separately and finally felt much better!

I'll soak in the bathhouse tomorrow to get the lingering smell of blood on me. That's life in the countryside. Aside from the food being greener and healthier, it's really not as convenient as living in the city!

But we'll have to get used to it eventually; it'll probably become the norm!

Mom is still absorbing the nutrients; it will take at least two hours. Leng Fengmei turned off the light and told the children to go to sleep first!

Hearing the even breathing sounds beside her, Leng Fengmei could no longer keep her heavy eyelids open and fell asleep without realizing it!

Looking at her sleeping daughter, Leng's mother's eyes slowly filled with tears. She knew her own child well; she was not only stubborn but also soft-hearted and straightforward!

My body felt like it had been reborn. If it weren't so late and I didn't want to wake the kids, I would have gone out for a run!

I'll ask my eldest daughter tomorrow if she has any left, and we can discuss leaving some for your younger brother. I haven't heard my son mention this; I guess he doesn't even know!

Leng Fengmei was unaware of her mother's plans and slept soundly through the night. The next day, she was only awakened by the sound of her mother cooking when it was already bright. However, she had slept well and felt completely recovered.

"Mom, where is this?" Xin Xin opened her confused eyes and looked around.

“This is Grandma’s house, have you forgotten?” Leng Fengmei said as she dressed her.

"Look how lightly you dressed the child! She's so cold!" The mother's sternness was tinged with concern. Feeling her mother's affection, Leng Fengmei couldn't help but laugh. "Haha, Mom, are you cold?" Her mother hesitated for a moment, then replied, "Actually...no."

“That energy stone is extremely rare; we don’t even know if it exists in the world anymore!” Leng Fengmei said earnestly to her mother.

"Oh dear, I should have known better than to not use it and saved it for your brother..." she said, slapping her thigh.

"We told him as soon as we found out about this, so please don't worry about it!" Song Chengyang explained patiently.

"Mom, are you really not coming with us?" Actually, Leng Fengmei didn't need to ask to know the answer, but she just hoped that her mother would change her mind.

"Well, I'm not going with you. I'm perfectly fine now, and I'm not sick at all. I'm not afraid of anything anymore, and I don't want to travel around with you. My neighbors have been very kind to me, so don't worry about me!"

"Okay, Mom! I'll say it again, don't tell anyone about this!" As she spoke, she took out thirty healing crystal cores. "Keep these," she said, pointing at the pile of fist-sized, glowing glass-like objects. "This...is..."

"Grandma, this is a healing crystal core, specially for treating external injuries. You should eat it when you are injured. It will dissolve in your mouth. Remember, it cannot be exposed to light, as it will dissolve if exposed to sunlight. This thing is very precious, so please keep it safe." Hanhan earnestly instructed.

"Mom, here's a knife for you to use in self-defense, and here's some money. Buy whatever you need!" Leng Fengmei said as she pushed the items over.

“You can keep it for yourselves. I have enough here, so we won’t need to buy medicine anymore,” said Mrs. Leng, her eyes red.

Perhaps it's because farewells are always sad, this meal was eaten quietly. "Mom, I'm leaving. Call me if you need anything, and I'll try my best to come back."

Having confessed everything he could, Song Chengyang drove to the bathhouse. He felt uneasy if he didn't take a bath; it was a problem!

The car stopped, and Leng Fengmei, leading the two children, turned to Xinba, who was about to get out of the car, and whispered, "Aren't you going to see your parents?"

We're husband and wife after all, so you have a share of these things. You can do with them however you like! Although the words sounded cold, the two of them already understood each other perfectly!

After saying that, she turned and entered the bathhouse—"Public Bathhouse." Leng Fengmei didn't want to recall those unpleasant things during this beautiful time! As long as one's conscience is clear, that's enough!

"Well... no, we don't allow pets here," the waiter said with a smile.

"Is anyone else here?" Leng Fengmei gestured towards the inside of the bathtub.

"No, but that won't do either!"

"Okay! Look, I'll book two hours, how much? I'll bring both of them."

"Oh! I see..." The waiter glanced at the time, paused for a moment, and then said, "Then I'll give you five hundred! The thing is, it's almost the end of the year, so it's always crowded these days!"

Leng Fengmei pulled out five banknotes. "Okay, fine! Just don't bother us. My daughter is afraid of being seen while she's taking a bath." She pointed to her eldest daughter as she spoke.

Hanhan: ... (When did I say that?)
