The dark sky made the already gloomy town seem even more sinister!
Jack kept talking the whole way, which brought a touch of life to this lifeless world!
Leng Fengmei scanned the empty iron cage with her divine sense and thought: Not a single one was left alive, but that's to be expected!
But there wasn't a single person in the entire building...
She quickly used her divine sense to summon Basil, "Where are you?"
Basil was overjoyed to hear his master's summons. "Master, we're at the corpse pit! Could you please come over?"
"Okay, sure!" he said, glancing at Jack. "Do you want to come along?"
“Wherever you go, I’ll go!” Jack said firmly.
Except for the first time she used her divine sense to explore the corpse pit, Leng Fengmei did not want to use her divine sense unless it was absolutely necessary.
For people living in a peaceful world, no one can stand to witness such a horrific massacre!
So when the two of them arrived, she saw this group of people—the outer layer was the Basil clan, and the kneeling people inside were the soldiers, only half the number. The people kneeling at the edge of the pit of corpses were Oscar's team, whom she had contracted, with Amos and Bradley beside them...
Leng Fengmei looked at Basil, who was walking over, with some confusion...
"Master, we have already taken our revenge. These people did not directly participate in harming us, so please deal with them as you see fit!" Basil said with a heavy heart.
Leng Fengmei looked at the soldiers; each of them had abrasions on their faces, and their exposed skin showed signs of beatings. She felt no sympathy for them; they deserved it!
Just as they were wondering what to do with them, Amos and Oscar came over carrying a mangled, bloody body.
"Master, please save Daniel! He is willing to submit to you!" Oscar pleaded.
Leng Fengmei looked at Basil in surprise, "What's wrong with him?"
Basil took a deep breath and said with some helplessness, "Master, Daniel has already accepted his punishment. Although we want revenge, we are not going to take it from these bloodthirsty beasts!!!"
"Since Basil isn't going to pursue this, you can do whatever you want with him. I don't need his submission," Leng Fengmei said coldly.
Oscar looked at Daniel lying on the ground, then at his resolute master, and immediately knelt down, saying sincerely, "Master, please save him! I'm willing to do anything for you!"
"Even if I don't save him, do you have a choice?" Leng Fengmei sneered.
“Master!” Oscar seemed to have made a great decision, bowing his head and then raising it again, his eyes full of expectation!
Leng Fengmei then heard the man's humble voice echo in her mind, "My body and soul are willing to serve my master for life!" As he spoke, he trembled and grasped Leng Fengmei's hand, "Master Oscar is very clean!"
"You're getting more and more outrageous!" Leng Fengmei turned to leave, but her hand was tightly gripped.
"Daniel saved my life, please! I promise he won't do anything to hurt you again." Oscar blushed as he tried to make one last effort.
Leng Fengmei turned around and looked around, scanning their faces one by one. "Do you also want me to save him?"
In truth, she was quite puzzled. Why would someone who kills without blinking an eye be worth saving?
“Master!” Basil looked at Leng Fengmei with a hint of helplessness and slowly said, “He has fifty knife wounds on his body, all of which are his…”
I'm still shocked by the scene. Everyone didn't want to spare his life, but he smiled and said, "Even if you kill me, I can only die once, which won't satisfy your hatred. Why don't each of you who hates me stab me? I just hope you can spare my breath. I want to see her one last time!"
Leng Fengmei was also shocked when she heard this, and couldn't help but murmur, "Human hearts are indeed complicated!"
He casually tossed a healing crystal core to Oscar, saying, "Give it to him!"
Oscar glanced gratefully at his master and quickly fed Daniel the medicine.
“Boss, I just saw that the corpse pit was full of maggots. Do you know where the carcass worms come from?” Jack asked, still shaken.
Leng Fengmei was startled. "Can they mutate again?" she asked Jack.
“It’s possible that these maggots are the larvae of carrion worms,” Jack said with certainty.
"Basil, did you hear that? Quickly organize people to burn these corpses," Leng Fengmei said sternly.
"Yes, Master!" Although Basil had never seen a carrion worm before, his master was so nervous that it must be terrifying.
He quickly organized all the young people, including those disabled soldiers who were still able to move, and everyone worked together.
Leng Fengmei went back to rest, while Jack stayed to help, since he was more experienced.
Oscar carried Daniel and some remaining soldiers close behind. No one spoke along the way. Oscar could feel Daniel slowly regaining his life, and his heart finally settled down!
Thinking about his promise, he wondered if his owner would dislike him. His heart was in turmoil.
Leng Fengmei didn't think that much about it. What she was thinking about was who was eyeing her Goddess Village. She had just finished washing up and was about to go to sleep when she heard a knock on the door, "Knock knock...knock!"
Thinking something had happened at the morgue, he quickly got up and opened the door, only to see Oscar standing nervously outside. "Master, I... I want to serve you!"
"No need!" Just as Leng Fengmei was about to close the door, Oscar strode in, knelt on one knee, and looked at her with tenderness in his eyes. "Please grant my request, Master!"
Leng Fengmei then took a closer look at the man. She saw that he had a high nose bridge, typical European eyes, fair and delicate skin, and not even a stubble.
