Moses finally saw his master return and rushed to greet him, "Master, are you alright!" He was really worried because he had never seen his master so angry before.
"It's nothing!" he said, ruffling Moses's hair. Seeing Moses's face slowly turning red, he thought to himself: It seems I need to control my hands from now on.
Seeing Daniel still kneeling there, Leng Fengmei walked up to him and looked down at him, "Daniel, do you know what you did wrong?"
"Master, I shouldn't have coveted you, I shouldn't have let others misunderstand!" Daniel looked up at his master and said each word carefully. His eyes, however, held an unconcealed tenderness and sorrow.
Leng Fengmei reached out and lifted his chin, gently rubbing his cheek with her fingers. "None of these are true. Remember this: the worst thing you could do was try to break into my residence without my permission."
"Master, Daniel knows he was wrong and will never do it again!" He said, covering his master's soft little hand with his hand and gently kissing it.
"Get up! Go with Moses and get these people away from me. I'm tired, so don't bother me!" With that, he went into the cave.
"Master, the tribe is hosting a banquet tonight to thank you for saving them! They asked me to make sure you come." Moses quickly transmitted his thoughts to his master.
"Good!" A cool voice came from the cave.
Moses grinned, revealing a row of tiny white teeth that even Daniel found dazzling. "Let's go, don't disturb Master's rest!"
Moses glared at him, thinking that although his master was very good to him, he never overstepped his bounds, while Daniel, despite being punished, was still loved by his master!
With their own agendas, the two men moved the person to the other side of the mountain, where there happened to be an open space halfway up the mountain.
Abbas closed his eyes in anguish, crying out, "My son, my son!"
Moses looked at the man, and ultimately felt a pang of pity. "Don't be sad, your master won't kill him!"
Abbas's eyes lit up instantly. "Really?" Then, as if remembering something, he sighed deeply. "Alas! Moses, please beg your master for me to let Emil go. I am willing to be loyal to her forever!"
“I will convey your message to her. As for the decision, that is up to the master.” Moses looked at Abbas with a hint of pity in his eyes.
“Moses, thank you. You are a good boy! I will never forget your kindness!” Abbas said sincerely to Moses.
"Everything Moses has is a gift from his master. If you want to thank someone, thank my master!" With that, he turned and left.
Jia Renyi and his companion shuttled back and forth in the dream created by the Heart-Testing Stone!
"Professor Jia, look how realistic these torture instruments are! Haha..." Zhou Zhan was beaming with excitement.
Jia Renyi was also shocked. How could there be such a magical thing in the world? It felt just like the real thing. Look at the person who had been tortured beyond recognition. The wounds and the blood were no different from reality!
The person being tortured suddenly saw this scene and felt a sense of incongruity. In a flash, he was back in the scene where he was being grabbed by the woman.
All sorts of torture instruments were thrown at him. "Ah!" He suddenly realized that he had fallen into an illusion!
"I was wrong, I surrender!" When he opened his eyes again, he saw himself lying on the grass next to a hot spring, with his compatriots lying around him in a disorderly manner.
He couldn't quite tell if it was a dream or reality, because he had been going through the same cycle countless times in his dreams!
Upon hearing the call of the Heart-Testing Stone, Leng Fengmei rushed over, eager to see who would wake up first!
A man was kneeling on the ground, praying incessantly. "What are you doing?" The sudden voice made him tremble. "Please forgive me, Master. I am willing to submit!"
"What's your name?" Leng Fengmei asked him curiously.
"Please bestow a name upon me, Master, for the former me is dead." He then prostrated himself in worship.
"Interesting!" Leng Fengmei summoned the Heart-Testing Stone. "What exactly did he go through?"
When Leng Fengmei saw that moment, she suddenly thought: if the world she lived in was also a microcosm of some other world, then all these lifetimes and reincarnations would eventually vanish upon waking.
Sigh! If you can't control your own destiny, it's all the same no matter where you live!
"Your name will be 'Leng Yi'!"
"Thank you for bestowing this name upon me, Master!" Leng Yi looked at his master with eyes full of admiration.
Leng Fengmei did not form a contract with him because she sensed a powerful faith force emanating from him.
"Keep an eye on them. If anything happens, the Heart-Testing Stone will let me know!" With that, he turned and left.
When the second person woke up, he convulsed on the spot for a while, saying, "Thinking about everything in the dream, I still can't help but tremble!"
The two sat in silence for a long time, until finally the third, fourth, and fifth people woke up one after another, their faces filled with terror. It's unclear who was the first to speak, but they exclaimed, "We're still alive..."
"The master didn't kill you. This is the real world!" Leng Yi said expressionlessly.
"What's wrong with you?" The person who had just woken up looked at him with a terrified expression.
"My name is Leng Yi, and from now on I will only serve my master!" he said, then stopped looking at them.
When Leng Fengmei came over again, all five of them knelt on the ground. "Master, we are also willing to submit," the other four said.
Leng Fengmei glanced at the group and asked, "Do any of you have family?"
The group didn't understand their master's meaning, but they still answered truthfully, "No, we are all orphans!"
"Hmm, they'll stay by my side from now on!" Leng Fengmei felt she needed a few loyal guards! She thought to herself: at least these few wouldn't fall in love with her. A smile involuntarily crept onto her lips.
"Please bestow a name upon us, Master!" they all said in unison.
