"Space-based!"
Upon hearing this, the way the surrounding soldiers looked at her changed.
The superhuman flinched for a moment, then realized his potential use. "My storage space is quite large; it can hold a lot of food! As long as you don't kill me, I'm willing to join your base and help you store food!"
Jiang Yue's eyes lit up slightly. They were just worried about how to pack the food, and this was like a godsend! Their B City base had such a good thing happen to them!
Ye Lin frowned slightly. He couldn't completely trust this superhuman. What if she took the food and ran away?
This place is, after all, the J City base, and this woman is their superhuman. If she's colluding with outsiders, then all their food supplies will be wasted.
However, this place has already been targeted by the J City base. It would be much easier for them to collect the grain from this underground granary than for us to travel over mountains and rivers.
What if they sent more people after they had loaded the grain? Wouldn't all the remaining grain be gone?
The superhuman kept watching Ye Lin nervously, waiting for his answer. Seeing that Ye Lin hadn't spoken, Jiang Yue patted his arm to remind him.
Ye Lin pondered for a moment before saying, "When Lin Ruo returns, ask her opinion." If Lin Ruo agrees, she will definitely have a way to control this superhuman.
He had barely finished speaking when they heard the rumble of a large truck behind them. They turned around and saw Lin Ruo driving the truck towards them.
Jiang Yue smiled happily, knowing that Lin Ruo would definitely be able to solve the problem of the mutated locust tree.
Lin Ruo jumped out of the car and walked over. Afu and Ashou quickly ran up to her and affectionately nuzzled her neck.
Lin Ruo smiled, her eyes crinkling, showing no resistance to their affection.
The moment this person appeared, the atmosphere of the entire team seemed to change. The soldiers who were diligently carrying the food all glanced in this direction, and even the captain who had been so dignified just moments before now had a hint of a smile in his eyes.
She lowered her head slightly; her position in the group was already quite obvious.
Jiang Yue stepped forward, smiling as he looked Lin Ruo up and down. Seeing that she had no signs of injury, he gave her a thumbs up. "Lin Ruo, you're really something! You managed to take down such a big mutated locust tree!"
Lin Ruo glanced at him but didn't say anything.
The spatial ability user's pupils contracted. She had single-handedly taken down that massive mutated locust tree outside—that person's strength...
Jiang Yue didn't expect Lin Ruo's response and continued, "This time, it was thanks to Afu that we discovered there was a superhuman hidden in this underground granary. He's a spatial superhuman."
Lin Ruo raised an eyebrow. This superhuman was honest with them. She looked at Ye Lin and asked, "So the problem of not being able to transport the grain back is solved?"
Ye Lin was slightly taken aback. It seemed that Lin Ruo had not considered whether this person could be trusted. If so, could it be understood that she could control this superhuman?
He then looked into her eyes, which were like a deep pool, occasionally flashing with coldness. Thinking of Lin Ruo's ability to sense danger, he suppressed his concerns.
Turning his gaze away, Ye Lin nodded slightly. "She is an ability user from the J City base. She said she is willing to join our base and help us transport food."
"J City base?" Lin Ruo looked at the superhumans in the crowd. "How big is your spatial dimension?"
The superhuman looked at Lin Ruo with a bright light in his eyes, and his tone was somewhat impatient, "I have a level 2 spatial ability. My space is about 40 meters long, wide and high. I estimated it at the J City base before, and it can hold about 40,000 tons of grain."
Ye Lin and Jiang Yue were stunned. They hadn't expected the ability user's space to be so large. This meant they could finally pack all the food back!
Lin Ruo nodded. This space was quite large for a Level 2 spatial ability user. With the empty trucks from the other two bases, they should be able to load all the grain here back.
"Since that's the case, let's pretend then. What are we waiting for?" Lin Ruo looked at Ye Lin, puzzled.
Ye Lin touched his nose. Along the way, Lin Ruo's status in the team had risen sharply, and he had now developed the habit of asking her opinion on everything.
"Start assembling," Ye Lin ordered the soldiers beside him.
"yes!"
The superhuman glanced at Lin Ruo one last time before following the soldiers to load the food.
Lin Ruo turned to Ye Lin and said, "I have some personal matters to attend to. Afu and Ashou will leave behind a guard team. This is the territory of that mutated locust tree, and its presence is everywhere. There shouldn't be any mutated beasts attacking us for the time being. I will return as soon as possible."
Ye Lin nodded. He had guessed that Lin Ruo's visit wasn't solely for this mission. He had previously felt that Lin Ruo seemed indifferent to the rewards of the mission, but now it seemed she did have other motives.
But this is irrelevant to their team; he had already stated that Lin Ruo had autonomy.
"Okay!" Ye Lin nodded readily, then added, "Be careful."
Lin Ruo nodded, then turned to Afu and Ashou and said, "I'll be gone for a few hours. I'll bring you some good food when I come back. Although you need to protect the team, don't hold back if anyone provokes you, understand?"
Afu and Ashou nodded.
Jiang Yue subconsciously took a step back, moving away from Afu and Ashou. Who knew what their definition of harm was?
Lin Ruo then turned around, got into the truck, and drove away.
In the depths of winter, as dusk falls and the last rays of light sink into the west, the surrounding temperature grows colder and colder.
Following the directions on the map in her hand, Lin Ruo drove her truck at high speed through the environment. Along the way, she added a layer of camouflage water film to her truck, which could both resist the cold and make her invisible. The warm air was blowing against the windshield. Lin Ruo looked at the fuel gauge on her truck, and there was still half left.
