Lin Ruo was thinking about how to make good use of Du Xueting's crystal core while adhering to the principle of not wasting anything.
Just then, a dagger suddenly flashed past from behind. Lin Ruo tilted her head to the side, but the person seemed to have anticipated her movement and kicked out.

Du Xueting was already somewhat frightened because of the incident where her supernatural power was drained earlier. While Du Xuezhou was entangled with Lin Ruo, her fingers flashed with green light, and countless tiny parasitic vines crawled towards Lin Ruo.
Lin Ruo's lips curled into a smile, and her hands blazed with blue light, causing countless tiny ice crystals to appear in the surrounding air. "Dodge! Let's see where you can hide!"
Du Xuezhou's pupils contracted sharply, and he only had time to shout to Du Xueting, "Run!"
Before the parasitic vines could even reach Lin Ruo, they were all pinned to the ground by the ice crystals, and could only wriggle their bodies.
