In the sweltering air and under the restless moonlight, Afu and Ashou carried Lin Ruo as they raced wildly through the mountains and forests.
The Qiyuan Base is more than an hour away from the B City Base. With their rapid running, they arrived at the firebreak of the B City Base in just one hour.
At this point, there were only two hours left until sunrise each day.
The sight of two enormous figures appearing in the dead of night reassured some, while others, shocked, hid even deeper in the shadows.
Since Lin Ruo's last visit, many people, both inside and outside the base, have been approaching Li Wei and Zhao Hui, partly to find out who the people in the two portraits are, and partly to find out their relationship with Lin Ruo.

He was astonished to find that she had survived a fierce battle unscathed, with even her clothes neatly arranged. They had received information that she was surrounded by nine level 2 ability users. Just how powerful must she be?!
Lin Ruo didn't care about Jiang Yue's veiled scrutiny; it was simply that they knew she had killed Du Xueting today and wanted to win her over.
She simply nodded, "No need, it's nothing."
Jiang Yue seemed not to have noticed Lin Ruo's refusal, "Was your journey here peaceful? Did you encounter anyone?"
Lin Ruo sat down in the chair opposite Zhao Hui, turned to look at Jiang Yue, and said, "You're too curious."

Jiang Yue sighed. This person was as indifferent as ever. He really doubted whether anyone could get along well with Lin Ruo.
“We can help you find someone, free of charge.” Chen Yu, who was standing to the side, spoke up at this moment. It was better to be direct than to talk to Lin Ruo.
Lin Ruo shook her head and refused again, "No need, this is my own business."

Li Wei patted Zhao Hui on the shoulder before speaking to Lin Ruo, "We've already checked every single one of the bases these past few days, but we haven't found the person you're looking for. We've placed a mission in the mission hall, and if anyone sees them, they'll notify us."
Lin Ruo lowered her eyelids. "Nothing? Did they die on the way, or haven't arrived yet?"
She then nodded gently, "I understand, I'll come again next time."
"Wait a minute..." Zhao Hui called out to Lin Ruo, who was about to leave, "Sister Ruo, are you interested in making another deal?"
Lin Ruo turned to look at him, a silent question.
Zhao Hui chuckled. "I've been standing here watching you for a while. Are you carrying mosquito repellent? I saw the mosquitoes flying around you."
Lin Ruo then noticed that even Li Wei and Zhao Hui had mosquito bites on their bodies. Her eyes darted around slightly. "What's wrong?"
"Can you sell me some? I'll buy them with crystal cores." Zhao Hui scratched the bump on his arm; it was so itchy, otherwise he wouldn't have been willing to spend crystal cores to buy them.
"Not at the base?"
