Chapter 161 Fang Ling Appears

It was a pity that there was a corpse on the ship that hadn't finished eating. Fortunately, most of their supplies were in Wang Yixing's spatial storage.

After catching his breath, Wang Yixing noticed Fang Ling still cowering to one side and was slightly surprised. "I didn't expect this woman to be so lucky. She's still alive."

"Our captain brought him down," Wu Zhang chuckled twice, winked at Wang Yixing who had just spoken, and then burst into laughter.

Fan Shaoyong patted Fang Ling's buttocks and laughed, "She has a good figure and tastes pretty good. We'll use her as food after we've had our fill."

With tears streaming down her face, Fang Ling let the other person do as they pleased. Even when the other person said to her face that they wanted to use her as food, she didn't dare to run away. She just looked in the direction of the base with a bit of hope. In this kind of world, only the official base could save her!

They headed towards the B City base, but as they encountered more and more survivors along the way, they noticed something was wrong. These people were always looking at them, or rather, at the woman, with strange eyes.

"What's going on?!" Fan Shaoyong grabbed Fang Ling by the collar, his eyes flashing with a fierce light as he asked, "Didn't you say you didn't know anyone in B City?!"

Fang Ling was so frightened that she quickly shook her head, "I really didn't! I'm not lying to you, please don't kill me!"

Then Yan Zhonghu grabbed one of the survivors at random, pointed at Fang Ling, and asked, "Do you know her?"

Seeing the other party's fierce appearance, the survivor dared not hide anything and said, "I don't know him."

"Then why were you staring at her like that!" Fan Shaoyong and his group clearly didn't believe him. "Tell me!"

“That’s because both the B City base and the Qiyuan base are looking for her.” After the survivor finished speaking, seeing the surprised looks on everyone’s faces, he continued, “Both the B City base and the Qiyuan base have put up her portrait on the wall in order to find her. We’ve all seen it.”

"Why are you looking for her?" Yan Zhonghu asked Fang Ling with a hint of uncertainty in his eyes.

The survivor shook his head. "I only know it's because of a superhuman, but I don't know the specifics. I came here to seek refuge, and I've only been here for half a month."

"Besides the Qiyuan Base and the City B Base you mentioned, are there any other bases around here?"

The superhuman thought for a moment, "There's also a newly established base, I think it's called Xuanfeng Base, and they're recruiting recently."

After asking all the questions he wanted to ask, Yan Zhonghu tightened his grip and snapped the survivor's neck with a "crack." The survivor stared wide-eyed, bloodshot, with blood slowly trickling from the corner of his mouth, seemingly not understanding why these people wanted to kill him.

Yan Zhonghu tossed the man's body to Wang Yixing, who was standing nearby, and said, "Keep it, we'll eat it later."

Wang Yixing chuckled as he took the body. He wiped his finger on the blood at the corner of the man's mouth, put it in his mouth, tasted it, and then spat it out with two "pui pui" sounds. "This man's blood is bitter, so the flesh must not taste good."

Despite saying this, he still threw the corpses into his spatial storage, which was already filled with corpses in his several hundred cubic meters of space.

Some of these corpses were pedestrians they encountered on the road, whom they killed upon seeing them; others were their comrades-in-arms who had traveled with them. Adhering to the principle of not wasting anything, he collected them all and kept them to eat slowly.

Yan Zhonghu ignored Wang Yixing's complaints and turned to Fan Shaoyong, "Captain, what should we do? Should we just kill her?"

Fang Ling had already shrunk back, trying to minimize her presence. She really didn't know why these people were looking for her. She only knew that she had violated their taboo and probably wouldn't live much longer.

Looking at Fang Ling like this, Fan Shaoyong reached out and grabbed her by the neck. "Didn't that person just say there's a new base? Let's go take a look and find out why these two bases are looking for this woman. If it's a good thing, we can use her to make some money."

"The captain is right."

These dozen or so people randomly asked a few less wary survivors for directions. Of course, asking for directions didn't stop them from killing those survivors and storing them as food.

A dozen or so people arrived at the new base. When they saw the sign for the base, they all frowned. This was not a new base at all; it was clearly a huge cave with two enormous rocks serving as the entrance. There were even people queuing outside the cave.

"Boss, did we go to the wrong place?" Cao Jinlong whispered to Fan Shaoyong.

Fan Shaoyong looked around and noticed that the people guarding outside all had a fierce aura about them, which was somewhat similar to their own. "Let's go in and take a look. If it's too bad, we'll fight our way out."
