"What are you all standing there for! Kill her!"
Lin Ye's face, hidden behind his mask, wore a terrifying expression, as if he wanted to devour the person in front of him alive.
The two superhumans standing in front of him wished they could gag Lin Ye. This guy couldn't see the situation! Couldn't he see that they weren't unwilling to fight, but simply couldn't win?!
He's actually stirring things up here! Once this guy gets angry, none of them will be able to leave. I should have known better than to take this mission today! We won't get any benefits, and we might even get ourselves killed. It would have been better to stick with the main group.
A cold glint flashed in Lin Ruo's eyes. Did he want to kill her?
With a thought, her water-based superpowers surged forth. In the next instant, Lin Ye and the two other superpowered individuals' limbs were frozen by Lin Ruo's ice. The ice formed from her fingertips and rapidly grew towards their torsos.
The bone-chilling cold immediately engulfed their entire bodies, freezing them stiff and causing excruciating pain. The pain, penetrating to the bone marrow, felt like someone was scraping their bones with a knife. They wanted to escape, but their bodies were completely immobile, and they could only watch helplessly as the ice slowly grew.
They could clearly feel that wherever the ice passed, they would immediately lose all sensation, as if that part of them had been completely removed from their bodies and no longer belonged to them!
The ice grew extremely fast; in just a few seconds, it had already reached above their waists. Now, all they felt was fear. The fire-type ability user tried to activate the fire-type ability within his body to fight the ice, but he discovered that he could no longer contact his crystal core!

Because all of Lin Ye's limbs were frozen, his whole body was completely numb and painful, and then he lost consciousness. Only his mouth could speak, but he still chose to shout at Lin Ruo. This was a habit he had formed after Lin Ruo's parents passed away.
"Lin Ruo! How dare you! Let me go!"
She patted off imaginary dust from her clothes and looked at the two superhumans. "You were just trying to kill me, weren't you? Even though I did it because I had a grudge against Lin Ye, you really deserve to die!"
After saying that, she slowly raised her hand under the horrified gazes of the two superhumans, a flash of blue light passing through her fingers.
The next second, the heads of the two superhumans exploded with two loud "bangs," spraying out large amounts of blood and forming a small blood mist in the air. The fragments of skulls and flesh fell to the ground with a "crackling" sound.
The two crystal cores were held aloft by a thin stream of water and floated in front of Lin Ruo.
Blood stained Lin Ye's mask, and Lin Ye froze, his cursing ceasing. The blood constantly reminded him that Lin Ruo was no longer the cousin who always gave in to him; killing him now was as easy as killing an ant for her.
Although he awakened his superpower, it was the least combat-effective mind-reading ability. He could read the minds of those with lower-level superpowers than him, but he had no offensive capabilities. Otherwise, he wouldn't have relied on the Qi family for a living.
"You can't kill me! Lin Ruo, you've already killed my parents, how can you face your uncle like this!"
"I am an important guest of the Qi family. If you kill me, the Qi family will not let you off, and neither will Qi Chengkai!"
Uncle? Lin Ye actually had the nerve to mention her father? The cold light in Lin Ruo's eyes grew stronger, and a murderous aura burst forth from her body!
If her father knew this in the afterlife, Lin Ye and his family would have died long ago! How could he have lived this long?!

"I'm really curious, was he your first man? Or had you been with other men before him?"
The icy chill emanating from his limbs made Lin Ye shiver, but he never intended to give up. He believed that as long as Lin Ruo kept dawdling, Qi Chengkai would eventually notice something was wrong and come to his rescue!
But Lin Ruo's words were like a knife to Lin Ye's heart. He had indeed liked women before, and not only that, after his uncle and aunt passed away, he had secretly wanted to take advantage of Lin Ruo. When he first gave himself to her, he really wanted to kill those people...
Recalling those earlier scenes, Lin Ye yelled at Lin Ruo, "Enough! Stop talking!"
Seeing Lin Ye's pained expression, Lin Ruo's smile deepened, and the killing intent in her eyes became more obvious. "Actually, I went back to look for you, but you had already left City A by then. I thought you were dead. I didn't expect to see you here. I wonder how Uncle and Aunt are doing? Are you together?"
Those ability users who were some distance away frowned slightly. They couldn't understand what she meant. Were these two related? Was the person she was torturing like this actually Lin Ruo's cousin?
