Chapter 5 Stockpiling Supplies 1

In the dimly lit warehouse

Lin Ruo carefully checked the warehouse and found no surveillance equipment. She then left the warehouse, locked the door, and drove to refuel again. This time, she filled up five or six tanks of gas. All the usable empty containers in her storage space were already full. It seemed she needed to hurry up and buy supplies.

She drove straight to the largest wholesale market in City A, first bought a few high-definition cameras, and then consciously wandered around the wholesale market. There were many grain and oil wholesalers here, but Lin Ruo secretly observed for a long time before choosing one.

Without hesitation, I entered the store. The owner was a bald, middle-aged man with a bare chest and a muscular build. He looked big and fierce, which was why the store had almost no customers.

"Little girl, what would you like to order?"

When the man saw someone enter the shop, he looked up at Lin Ruo and spoke in a deep, somewhat intimidating voice.

Lin Ruo, however, remained unaffected and said with a smile, "Uncle, I want to buy rice, flour, cooking oil, and various seasonings."

"So many kinds! How many do you want?" The man's eyes lit up when he heard about so many kinds, and his smile became much more genuine. He quickly came over and continued to ask.

"We need 200 tons each of rice and flour, 2,000 barrels of 5L cooking oil, one ton of salt, and 500 boxes of other seasonings, all kinds."

Upon hearing Lin Ruo's words, the man frowned and his expression darkened. "Little girl, you want so much stuff? You're not just messing with me, Old Wang, are you?"

“Of course not. My family is opening a food processing plant and we are serious buyers.” Lin Ruo was not intimidated by the other party’s fierce appearance at all and remained calm. “If you don’t believe me, I can make a deposit first.”

Upon hearing this, the man's brows relaxed slightly. Judging from the young girl's expression, she seemed sincere. He began to calculate the costs for Lin Ruo with some skepticism. Rice was priced at 4 yuan per kilogram at wholesale, flour at 3 yuan per kilogram, cooking oil at 45 yuan per barrel, and salt at 3 yuan per kilogram. He compiled a long list, and the total amount was two million yuan. Based on a 30% deposit, that would amount to 600,000 yuan.

Lin Ruo nodded as she looked at the prices. She knew that the man was offering the lowest wholesale price, which was why it was only two million. He was indeed honest.

She looked at the man with a smile, "Brother Wang, give me your bank card number, I'll transfer the money to you."

The man was still somewhat skeptical; could a young girl really buy so many things all at once?

But he still obediently gave Lin Ruo his bank card number. His shop was on the verge of closing down because of his appearance, and there was a lot of unsold stock in the warehouse. If he could really make such a big order today, his shop would be able to stay afloat.

"Ding-dong"

The man glanced at his phone instinctively, where he saw a notification that 600,000 yuan had been deposited into his account. He immediately stood up. "Young lady, are you really going to buy it?"

Lin Ruo found it amusing. The money had already been deposited into his account, yet this person was still asking, "Of course! You've given me such a fair price, so of course I want to buy from you. But the quality has to be good; don't try to fool me with defective products."

The man patted his chest loudly, "Don't worry, girl, my goods are definitely the best in this wholesale market!"

Lin Ruo nodded, then took out a piece of paper. "I have a lot of other things to buy, Brother Wang. Please deliver them directly to this address tomorrow morning. I'll come over to check them, and we'll pay the full amount once the goods are sold out."

"Great! Great!" The man was overjoyed to receive such a large order, his mouth agape. "Don't worry, sister, I have stock in my warehouse, I'll definitely deliver it to you on time."

"Okay, then I'll be going now."

After leaving the shop, Lin Ruo did not leave the wholesale market. She turned around and went to a general store. "Boss, do you have any oil drums? I need the big kind."

The boss quickly came out with a smile, "Yes, yes, yes, the largest oil drums we have here are 200L, how many do you want, young lady?"

As the boss spoke, he moved a huge oil drum over from the side. Lin Ruo estimated that the SUV could only fit 3 or 4 of these drums, but it could be stored in the space.

"If you want a lot of these, I'll give you 258 each, but if you only want a few, it'll be the market price." The shopkeeper was calculating in his mind, and this girl didn't seem like she would want much.

Lin Ruo stepped forward, tapped the oil drum, and checked its quality. "I'll take one of these. Deliver it to me the day after tomorrow, how about that?"

The shop owner seemed surprised that Lin Ruozhen bought so much. He paused for a moment, then overjoyed, "Sure, sure, no problem."

Lin Ruo readily paid another 400,000 yuan deposit and also took four oil drums with her. As soon as she left the place, Lin Ruo used the car as cover to put the oil drums into her spatial storage, preparing to use them for refueling on the road.

After leaving the store, Lin Ruo turned around and walked towards a fast food wholesale store. She ordered 1,000 boxes of various instant noodles. The meal kits were averaging 7 yuan per bag, and Lin Ruo ordered a bag of them all at once. She also ordered 100 boxes of self-heating hot pot in various flavors. The total cost of these three types was 300,000 yuan. She paid a deposit of 90,000 yuan and finalized the delivery time with the other party for two days later in the morning.

Having solved the problem of fast food, Lin Ruo turned around and went into a women's products store. Sanitary napkins are essential, as mutant animals have a very sensitive sense of smell, and women are easily attacked if they don't bring sanitary napkins during their period.

But sanitary napkins were a luxury in her past life, and she really didn't want to recall the experience of going bald from searching for just a few packs.

So this time, she decisively ordered 3,000 boxes of sanitary napkins, with ten packs in each box. The wholesale price was about 70 yuan per box, which cost her 210,000 yuan.
