Chapter 51 Solar Power Generation

The supplies found on this trip were quite substantial; Lin Ruo made three trips just to carry them into the house.

Qian Li had already been taught by Li Wei not to stare at other people's supplies, so she closed the door when Lin Ruo started moving the supplies.

Lin Ruo finally breathed a sigh of relief after all the supplies were moved into the house.

Although she possesses superpowers and heavy weaponry, she always remains on edge whenever she goes out, as accidents always happen when she relaxes, forcing her to be cautious.

Now that she's back home, she can finally relax completely.

She was completely soaked, having been outside for more than five hours. Although she wouldn't catch a cold, the feeling of her clothes sticking to her body was really unpleasant, and she desperately needed a hot shower.

Afu and Ashou are still in the space. It's already 3:30 pm, and they haven't had lunch yet. I wonder how hungry they are.

Lin Ruo strode into the bathroom, skillfully filled the tub with water, and enjoyed a comfortable hot bath.

I threw all my soaking wet clothes into the washing machine in the space. The washing machine is usually connected to the power supply box, so it's very convenient to use.

She scanned the display screen on the battery box with her mental energy and saw a red indicator showing low battery. She quickly replaced the battery box with a fully charged one before turning on the washing machine and starting to wash clothes.

Then she realized that the various machines in the space used the battery tank for about the same amount of time as the washing machine, so it was time to check the battery level.

She checked the battery levels of the various charging boxes connected to the machines in the space and found that many of them were already low on power. She quickly replaced the low-powered boxes and took them to the generator to recharge.

Looking at the eight or nine battery boxes that had been replaced, Lin Ruo sighed with relief. Luckily, she had a lot of battery boxes in her space, otherwise she really wouldn't be able to power these machines.

Pour diesel fuel into the generator. The generator consumes nearly 80 liters of diesel fuel every hour it generates electricity. Although she has a lot of diesel fuel in reserve, there is still a long time to go, so she needs to use it sparingly.

Suddenly she remembered that she had solar panels, but with the outside world shrouded in dark clouds, where was the sun?

She immediately felt a surge of energy and looked up into the space. Although she couldn't see the sun's location, she could still feel its presence. Could the solar panels generate electricity in the space?

Lin Ruo slapped her forehead, realizing she had only just thought of such an important thing. She quickly took out the solar panels and other supporting equipment from the static space and connected them according to the instruction manual.

They then used the previously collected shelves to melt them into appropriately sized racks in the space, and placed the connected power generation panels on them.

She turned on the switch and looked expectantly at the electronic instrument. Seeing the words "normal operation" displayed on it, Lin Ruoxin was overjoyed. Did this mean that she would never have to worry about electricity again?

In her excitement, Lin Ruo suddenly remembered her two children, Afu and Ashou. She quickly used her spiritual power to look for them and found the two swimming happily in the freshwater pond, picking up a fish and eating it as they swam!

Lin Ruo breathed a sigh of relief. Well, she had been overthinking it.

With so many animals in this space, they certainly won't go hungry. Since they're having fun, let them play a little longer.

I scanned the freshwater pool with my mental energy. The fish and shrimp in the pool had grown quite a bit in the past two months, with many of them weighing over ten pounds. Feeding them both shouldn't be a problem.

With her mental energy withdrawing from the space, Lin Ruo used her water-based abilities to evaporate the moisture from her hair. Her hair had grown a bit long and she needed to get it trimmed sometime.

She then began to pack up the supplies she had brought back. There were quite a few supplies, but she still had a small portion of the food she had made during the apocalypse. Moreover, she had a large amount of cooked food stored in her space, so these fast foods were temporarily useless.

She kept only the bag of snacks, and sorted all the other supplies into the still space.

After packing her things, it was almost 4 o'clock, and her stomach had already started rumbling in protest.

She took out a plate of hot and sour shredded potatoes, then shredded pork with sweet bean sauce, a few pre-made rolled pancakes, and a bottle of beverage.

She took out a tablet from her spatial storage, which was filled with downloaded variety shows. She randomly picked an electronic pickled vegetable dish and started eating her lunch.

The tortillas are thin and chewy, and when rolled up with shredded potatoes and meat, the savory sauce and spicy and sour flavors blend together perfectly—it's delicious!

She ate more than twenty dishes before she was full and couldn't eat anymore. The variety show on her tablet had finished an episode, and there were only some leftovers left on the table. She burped as she cleaned up the table.

She probed the space with her spiritual power and saw that Afu and Ashou had finally had enough fun and were resting on the shore. Only then did she let them out. Afraid that they would get hot, she added an ice basin for them in the living room.

Afu and Ashou were already used to this sudden change of location, but as soon as they returned, they smelled the aroma of shredded pork with sweet bean sauce in the house. Ashou was furious that their owner was eating alone behind their backs!

It ran over quickly, lay down on the ground, and whimpered at Lin Ruo, looking pitiful.

Although Afu also wanted to eat, it was not as shameless as Ashou. It turned its head to the side and pretended not to see, but its eyes would occasionally glance at Lin Ruo's calves, showing a tiny bit of anticipation.

Lin Ruo found it amusing and pulled Ah Shou's big ears, "Didn't you eat a lot of fish in the space? Do you want to eat it cooked?"

"Woof woof!" Ah Shou whispered in protest, "They didn't eat much, just a few pieces!"

Finally, Lin Ruo couldn't stand being pestered by them any longer, so she gave them two more servings of braised pork in sweet bean sauce. Afraid it would be too salty, she also gave them a few fragrant steamed buns. Only then did the two of them finally calm down.
