Ye Lin and the other two took Lin Ruo into a military vehicle. The warehouse was more than ten kilometers away from the central building, and they couldn't just walk there.
As the car drove away, the people around looked on with envy.
"Brother Yue is still the most influential. Sister Ruo always comes to see him."
"Sister Ruo was so cool during the battle in the United States. According to those superhumans who participated in the battle, when Sister Ruo came out, they were like they were on stimulants. Those high-level superhumans were all subdued by Sister Ruo without even having to use their powers once."

Chen Yu, who was driving, remained silent. Ye Lin, who was in the passenger seat, turned around at the right moment and smiled at Lin Ruo, speaking as if they were having a casual chat, "Sister Ruo, did you just get back? Are you going out to sea again?"
Lin Ruo, who had been gazing out the window, turned to look at him. Ye Lin wasn't one to talk about such trivial things; she sensed something unusual in his eyes.
Thinking back to Jiang Yue's surprised tone when she returned today, and the appearance of Ye Lin and Chen Yu, these were all signs. They had been a bit too enthusiastic today, so it seemed that this matter was quite significant.
She became more cautious, and her tone unconsciously lowered, "Is something the matter?"
The three people in the car were all shrewd and worldly-wise; they noticed even the slightest change in her tone.
Ye Lin quickly said, "Sister Ruo, please don't misunderstand, I didn't mean anything by it."
Lin Ruo looked at Ye Lin without saying a word, but her gaze was extremely oppressive.
Jiang Yue turned to Ye Lin and said, "Don't do these things with Sister Ruo, just say it directly."

Lin Ruo lowered her eyes, now she understood. These foreign bases wanted to test her relationship with the B City base, to see if she would support the B City base.
Thinking back on the past month or so, she had already visited all the places she could, but she still hadn't found that white crystal again. Having been away from home for so long, she really didn't want to go out again.
"After returning this time, I have no plans to go to sea again for the time being, but I will not attend this meeting."
Upon hearing that she wouldn't be attending the meeting, neither Ye Lin nor the other two showed any surprise. Clearly, they had already anticipated the outcome; all they needed was for her to come back and not leave again.
“Okay,” Ye Lin nodded, his smile unchanged. “I will reply to them.”
The journey of more than ten kilometers was completed in the time it took them to talk. After getting off the car with them, Lin Ruo saw the entire warehouse. It was 200 meters long, 100 meters wide, and nearly 80 meters high. In addition to this warehouse, there were nine other warehouses side by side around it. Many survivors dressed in uniform were busy in these warehouses.
Following them into the eighth warehouse, Lin Ruo took out the things he had found in the Yana Trench from his spatial storage. The fossils of humanoid skeletons and the stones with special writing on them immediately caught the attention of Ye Lin and the other two.
Although they weren't experts in this field, they had some knowledge and could tell from the marks on the stone that it must have been a very old thing.
"You'd better find an archaeology expert to take a look. I found this thing tens of thousands of meters below the surface of the Yana Trench."
Then she released the strange-looking sea beast from the space. The huge corpse gave people a very strong sense of oppression as soon as it came out of the space. Even though it had become a corpse, the aura emanating from it made the three superhumans feel a tightness in their hearts, as if a huge stone was pressing down on their bodies.
They were both shocked. This was just a corpse that had been dead for a long time, yet it possessed such a powerful aura. How strong would it have been when it was alive?!
Ye Lin glanced at the sea beast; its appearance had too many features for him to identify.
