Chapter 189,/.

It took about fifteen minutes to walk from the dormitory to the cafeteria. By the time they arrived at the cafeteria, two groups of students had already finished their dinner and returned to the dormitory.

There are not many people in the cafeteria now, and there are many empty seats.

Fujiwara Yuu stood silently behind Morofushi Kagemitsu with an empty tray. When it was his turn to choose dishes, his expression changed instantly. He retracted his index finger that was about to point to the dish and clenched it into a fist.

The main course was mackerel stewed in miso, the side dish was a cold saury sashimi, and even the soup was miso soup with dried fish floating in it. He hated two types of food: raw fish and raw meat. Seeing nothing but fish dishes instantly wiped out his appetite.

Fortunately, at the end of the road, he found the daily standard curry rice. Fujiwara Yu would rather eat the same curry rice for half a year than touch any fish dish.

It’s not that he hates the appearance of fish, but he once ate poorly prepared sashimi and after tasting the strong fishy smell, he never wanted to eat fish dishes or raw meat again.

Morofushi Kagemitsu sat down across from Fujiwara Yuu with a tray in hand, only to realize that Fujiwara Yuu hadn't taken anything except mineral water and curry rice. Considering today was a fish feast, it seemed Fujiwara-san didn't like fish.

"Fujiwara, can I sit next to you? I don't like eating without anyone next to me." Date Ko, who also arrived late but was still wearing sportswear, stood beside Fujiwara Yu with a tray in his hand and asked.

"sure."

After saying this, Fujiwara Yu didn't say anything else. He didn't like to talk while eating.

He picked up a spoon and scooped up a spoonful of curry rice. The sweet and soft rice grains paired with the spicy curry with a spice flavor actually pulled back his declining appetite. The frequency of putting the spoon into his mouth gradually increased, obviously silently approving the taste of the curry rice in the cafeteria.

Ida Kou, who was sitting next to him, was busy eating, but soon he stopped and asked:

"Fujiwara, you didn't forget that you're on duty at the bathhouse today, right? Remember to clean it up before the blackjack inspection."

Fujiwara Yu's hand trembled slightly as he drank water, and it was obvious that "he had forgotten".

Especially now that he thought about it, the guy on duty with him was the naturally curly guy Matsuda Jinpei, and he wasn't sure if he could get along well with him. He always felt that the guy was the type who liked to stir up trouble - he still remembered the statement he made during the interview where he threatened to beat up the Superintendent.

"Well, thank you for reminding me, monitor. I really forgot."

"You're welcome. If you need any help, feel free to come and see me. My room is right next to yours. And please inform Jinpei Matsuda across the street. I bet he'll forget."

"OK."

Fujiwara Yuu checked the time on his watch and saw that there were less than two hours left until the sanitation inspection. He hadn't purchased toilet cleaning fluid yet, and he still had to go to the instructor to complete the paperwork before leaving the school. He roughly calculated the time it would take in his mind and picked up his plate.

"Take your time to eat. I'm going to ask the instructor to let me leave the school first."

"Well, go ahead!"

After Fujiwara Yu put the tray in the recycling place, he had just eaten and couldn't jog, so he could only walk as fast as possible. He did not go directly to the teaching building where the instructor was, but planned to go back to the dormitory first to take the naturally curly classmate with him.

Boom boom boom.

After a knock on the door, there was a faint sound from inside.

Then he saw Jinpei Matsuda, with a towel hanging around his neck and half-moon eyes wide open with dissatisfaction, shouting at him, "Hagi, what are you doing now?" But he soon realized that the person outside the door was not someone he knew.

"Huh? Why are you here? Do you have something to talk to me about?" asked Jinpei Matsuda.

Fujiwara Yuu calmly pointed in the direction of the bathhouse and said:

"Today we are cleaning the bathhouse, and we need to go out to buy toilet cleaner, so I came to inform you to go with me to the instructor's office to apply for a permit to go out."

"...Oh, I thought it was something else. Let's go."

Matsuda Jinpei casually threw the towel around his neck back and closed the door without even looking. But Fujiwara Yuu saw everything, especially the towel that was pitifully thrown to the ground by its owner.

Thinking of the dust everywhere and the shoe prints on the ground, he, who loved cleanliness, couldn't bear it anymore. He quietly used the power of wind to hang the towel on the railing next to him, and then followed Matsuda Jinpei's pace towards the office building.

The two of them walked in silence, and it was obvious that neither of them was the type to initiate conversation. Besides, neither of them liked the other very much.

That’s right, both sides.

Jinpei Matsuda had long sensed that Fujiwara harbored a hidden "hostility" towards him. A little deduction would have led him to the conclusion that Fujiwara, a model student, had developed such feelings towards him: he had developed an aversion to him on the day of the interview because he had threatened to beat up the Superintendent of Police.

Therefore, Matsuda Jinpei also has no good feelings towards Fujiwara Yu. He doesn't like old-fashioned and stubborn people, and he dislikes "simple creatures" who respect all police officers and have not experienced the silver spoon in the mouth of society.

They successfully obtained the permit to go out, and also obtained funds from Onizuka Hachizo to purchase toilet cleaners. Under the instructor's instructions, both of them promised not to cause trouble during the time they were out.

Matsuda Jinpei took out his permit and showed it to the guard at the door, then walked out with his hands in his pockets. However, as he walked, he noticed that there were no footsteps beside him. He turned around impatiently and saw Fujiwara Yu walking in the opposite direction.

"Hey! What are you doing?"

"Can't you tell with your eyes?" Fujiwara Yu pointed to his feet expressionlessly and said calmly: "I'm walking to the convenience store."
