Kenji Akihara felt that he was not sharing a house with his childhood friend, Kokunen, but more like supporting an ancestor at home. Although he was only 27 years old, he had already experienced the feeling of being a new father in advance.
Jinpei Matsuda quickly bit off the remaining half of the ice cream stick, making a crackling sound to show off how good his teeth were, but he forgot that one of his front teeth was a fake.
He put down the game controller in his hand and looked at the "stage clear" displayed on the TV screen with satisfaction. He wrinkled his nose and smelled the aroma of curry coming out of the plastic bag:
"Hagi, did you buy curry today?"
As expected, he chose to play dumb and didn't hear Yan Er's question, answering irrelevant questions.
Akihara Kenji pursed his lips speechlessly. After taking out the heated curry rice, he urged:
"Hurry up and wash your hands and eat. You should have received the news too, right?"
"Oh, you mean the match against the Third Mobile Unit?" Matsuda Jinpei quickly dried his hands and eagerly opened his curry bento box, confidently saying, "When have we ever lost in a real-world exercise like this?"
"You are really confident, Jinpei." Akihara Kenji smiled and took out two cans of beer from the refrigerator. Just as he was about to open the pull ring, the phone in his trouser pocket vibrated. After seeing the content of the email clearly, he suddenly jumped up from his seat.
This action also startled Matsuda Jinpei who was sitting opposite him so much that he dropped the spoon in his hand. He stared at him speechlessly with his crescent eyes wide open, dissatisfied:
"hagi, what are you making such a fuss about?"
"No, not this!"
A message was displayed on the narrow screen of the mobile phone, and the sender was again Chisuga Akihara.
[Akihara Chiba: Kenji, I did meet the missing Fujiwara-kun.]
Bang!
Matsuda Jinpei's drastic movements knocked the dining chairs over. He stared at Akihara Kenji with wide eyes, and the rice in his mouth that he hadn't swallowed in time was sprayed out:
"That Fujiwara guy is back, Hagi, what are you standing there for? Call and ask!!"
Kenji Akihara wiped the rice grains off his face speechlessly, and muttered to himself: Your reaction is obviously even greater than mine.
He lowered his head and called back, turning on the speakerphone, but who knew that the voice coming from the other end of the phone was not his sister's voice, but the familiar robotic female voice.
"Sorry, the number you dialed is turned off."
"……Depend on."
