The exterior of the Beika Art Museum has not been renovated much, but the interior is completely new.
Rather than calling it an art museum, the decor is more like... a high-end bathhouse? There's an indescribable aura emanating from the splendor, completely at odds with the term "art museum."
Takagi Wataru and Sato Miwako tried hard to play a couple in love. The latter wore red plain glasses with a pinhole camera, which transmitted the image to the two people in the car in real time.
"Hello sir, please show me your ticket."
"Give."
The security guard at the door let the two in with a smile after checking that there was no problem with the tickets. Takagi Shigeru put the ticket stub in his pocket and walked forward, no, to be more precise, he was led.
Takagi Shigeru felt his role was a bit odd; it seemed Miwako was more like a boyfriend. He shook his head to dismiss the outrageous thought. The important thing now wasn't that; the important thing was to figure out who in the museum was holding the dolphin bracelet and the small white card.
Miwako Sato looked at these paintings. She had no interest in art and could not see the value of these things. But the constant stream of popular science from her headset made her wonder: How could this ordinary graffiti be sold for so much money?
——"Huh? I didn't expect there to be an abstract work by Helmut Dörner here. I quite like this one."
The person in charge of popular science is naturally Fujiwara Yu, who has a certain foundation in painting. He has seen many works of art. During his time in the United States, he would choose to visit museums or art galleries on weekends, and occasionally participate in some art exhibitions, so he knows quite a lot of paintings.
"I don't understand artists like you. To me, it's just a child's graffiti, two blobs of ambiguous colors in a sea of pink... I think I could do it too."
Jinpei Matsuda's voice came from the headset. Upon hearing this, Sato Miwako and Takagi Wataru both nodded slightly. People who don't understand art really think that this is a child's graffiti.
Fujiwara Yuu, sitting in the car, rolled his eyes and ignored him. He didn't have the leisure to act as an unpaid guide to the art museum while he was working on a case. He gestured to Matsuda to keep quiet and continued to focus on the monitor.
Within two minutes, another monitor showed a picture, and Kenji Akihara, who had a pinhole camera hidden in a brooch, successfully entered the Beika Art Museum and obtained the small white card.
"Qiu Yuan, remember to avoid those paintings with flowers in vases. They are designated to be taken away. If you pretend to be a regular customer, you must understand the rules of the transaction. After walking around for a while, just write the number of a painting on the card."
Fujiwara Yu was giving instructions into the headset. Perhaps they arrived at the art museum a little late, as the monitor showed five vases with flowers in them.
——"Hagi, please pay a little attention to see if Yamada Gongkei is in the museum. I sent you his photo before. With your memory, you will definitely remember him, right?"
When Akihara Kenji heard what Jinpei said, he deliberately flicked the hair next to his ear in a showy manner. He was really trying hard not to let passersby hear him talking:
"Understood. I will complete the task well."
Jinpei Matsuda, who was sitting in the car, picked up a can of Coke that no one was drinking. After taking two gulps, he felt someone pat his shoulder. He turned his head and saw Fujiwara Yu writing a sentence on the notebook, motioning him to look.
Did you see the scene where Akihara flipped his hair? That's considered a work-related injury, right?
Matsuda Jinpei smiled evilly and shook the phone in his hand. He had just filmed this scene, which was enough to become one of Akihara's black history photos. It can only be said that Akihara Kenji was not very lucky. The scene of him picking up his hair happened to be "seen" by Sato Miwako, and transmitted to the eyes of these two bad guys through the pinhole camera.
Fujiwara Yuu mouthed "Send me a copy too". After successfully obtaining the photos of Akihara's dark history, the two of them once again focused their attention on the monitor, trying to find Yamada Kimie.
But there was no sign of Yamada Gongkei, but a very familiar voice came from the headset.
——"Yami, have you been in contact with that police officer recently?"
This was Kakizaki Sayuri's voice, and it was not difficult to hear from her words that Miyano Akemi was also by her side.
Fujiwara Yuu hadn't expected them to show up at the Beika Museum of Art. He clutched his forehead with a slight headache. Matsuda Jinpei noticed something was wrong with him and spoke with concern:
"Yingsi, what's wrong with you? Are you feeling unwell?"
"It's okay."
Fujiwara Yuu really wanted to ask Sato Miwako to warn them to leave this place, but he had a mission to accomplish now, and it would be troublesome if he gave orders rashly and the enemy hiding in the dark saw through it.
He bit his lower lip, staring intently at the two people appearing on the monitor. They were clearly visiting the art museum. It must be said... these two people had pretty bad luck, always jumping around in dangerous places.
——"Akihara, it's almost time. Just find a painting, fill in the number, and leave. Takagi and Sato will be inside for a while. Leaving too early will arouse suspicion."
The instructions given by Fujiwara Yu came from the headset. Akihara Kenji was holding a blank card with nothing written on it in his hand, planning to find a place without flowers to go closer, but he didn't know that security personnel in suits came to his door.
"Sir, are you struggling to choose which painting?"
Akihara Kenji didn't show any surprise. He leaned slightly to the side, his expression natural, even a hint of arrogance on his face. He gently slapped the small card in his palm and raised the corner of his mouth lazily:
