"What song was that just now?" Fujiwara Yu asked curiously.
"We locals call it the Piqiu Song. It's a song composed of the names of Kyoto's streets from north to south."
Qian Heling sang the ball song a cappella, and indeed sang out all the roads in Kyoto. She also told them that the children in Kyoto would use this song to remember the names of the roads.
"Um, Miss Chigura Suzu, may I ask your age?" Hattori Heiji suddenly asked.
"Huh? I'm 19, what's wrong?"
Hattori Heiji had already determined in his heart that the Chika Suzu in front of him was his first love at first sight in childhood. He didn't expect that he would finally see him again, but the heartbeat he felt in his youth... seemed to have disappeared without a trace with the passage of time.
He realized that it was not polite to ask about age, so he pushed Takashi Sosuke's back and said:
"Ah, nothing much. We'll head towards Oshiomiike next. Goodbye."
Fujiwara Yuu looked at Chika Ling's departing back. He glared at Hattori Heiji with his half-moon eyes and asked unhappily:
"You don't think she's your first love, do you?"
"It's definitely her, a Kyoto native, and the age is right. Plus, she can sing this song! The lyrics are a little different though. My first love sang 'Bride Rokkaku', and she sang 'Sister Sanjo'. But it's not a big deal. I finally met her!"
Seeing Hattori Heiji's excited look, Fujiwara Yuu felt embarrassed to pour cold water on him, since Chiga Ling's suspicion had not been ruled out yet.
He took out his wallet from his pocket, pulled out two banknotes and stuffed them into Hattori Heiji's hand, saying:
"You should go back to Sannoji Temple and reunite with Kudo. I'll go look for Ayanokouji."
"Hmm? Okay."
After making sure Hattori Heiji had obediently taken a taxi and left, Fujiwara Yuu hailed a taxi and headed for Teramachi-dori. Nishijo Taiga had previously mentioned the address of his shop. If he was right, he must be the murderer.
But I don’t have any evidence yet, so I can only find a way to visit him at his home.
