Masuyama Kenzo removed the silencer from his pistol. He no longer had the patience to play hide-and-seek with them. He fished for the bomb remote control from his pocket and detonated the plastic bomb in the trash can on the 65th floor.
The huge explosion made Shiho Miyano, who was hiding on the 70th floor, worried. She glanced at the young detectives who were obviously scared but strong and calm. She thought that the effect of her medicine would not last too long. Vigorous exercise would cause the heart rate to increase, and the effect of the medicine would continue to decrease. This was also the result of her several experiments.
She once again wanted to give up hope of living. After all, the organization's only target was her. They didn't know that Miyasaka Asami was Miyano Akemi who had faked her death and escaped.
Thinking of this, when she stood up and wanted to leave, she heard the sound of breaking glass and a scream that sounded very much like Kenzo Masuyama's from upstairs.
What's going on? What happened?
-----------------
The seventy-first floor at this time.
After hearing the footsteps, Kenzo Masuyama ran quickly in the direction of the sound. Before he could shoot, a figure jumped out of the darkness and knocked him to the ground.
The impact of the back of his head on the ground made him dizzy and he subconsciously groped for help to get up, but he didn't expect the man to punch him directly on the chin.
Masuyama Kenzo could feel his lower teeth loosened from the blows. He spat out a mouthful of blood, trying to see who had pounced on him. Could the intelligence be wrong? Was there another enemy in this building?
Damn it, Vermouth didn’t even tell me this news. Was that woman playing a trick on me?
Thinking of this, Masuyama Kenzo quickly raised his hands to protect his head and begged for mercy:
"Stop it! Stop fighting! Don't you want to know where my accomplices are?!"
Fujiwara Yu, who had been waiting here for a long time, stopped punching. He didn't want to bully the elderly, so he simply reached out and pulled Masuyama Kenzo from the ground, pushed him hard in front of the glass cabinet, grabbed the sparse hair on the back of his head, and pressed it against the cabinet door.
After making sure that the other party couldn't see his appearance, he asked in a cold voice:
"If you want to live, lead the way."
"I can't lead the way if you're like this." Kenzo Masuyama was a little puzzled. His cheeks were almost deformed by the squeeze of the cabinet door, and he had no ability to resist at all.
Seeing this, Fujiwara Yu had no choice but to stretch out his long legs so that he could reach the tablecloth beside him. He then tore off the strips of cloth and tied them around Masuyama Kenzo's eyes five or six times. After making sure that he couldn't see, he let go and said:
"We are now on the seventy-first floor. You should know which floor your accomplice is on, right?"
He guessed that Masuyama Kenzo's accomplice was probably Vermouth, and that woman had already evacuated by helicopter. However, he was unsure if there were other members of the organization in the building. To ensure the safety of Miyano Akemi and others, he had to be cautious.
"On the top floor, we agreed to retreat there!"
Fujiwara Yu put his hand on his neck and made sure that he was not lying before taking him to the rooftop terrace.
Along the way, he ignored Kenzo Masuyama who was chattering, and was just wondering whether Vermouth had left.
Fujiwara Yu stretched out his hand and pushed open the iron gate connecting to the rooftop. He walked forward cautiously with a pocket pistol in his hand. If he found the enemy, he could just use Masuyama Kenzo to help block the bullet.
He stood on the rooftop and looked around. After making sure that there was no one around, he asked:
"Mr. Masuyama, are you sure your accomplice is here?"
"That's natural. If you let me go now, I still have a chance to survive. The sniper will soon... huh?!"
The bullet pierced through his eyebrows, and Kenzo Masuyama, who was still swearing threats a second ago, collapsed to the ground. He never expected that the first person the organization would execute would be himself.
Fujiwara Yuu did not expect that Masuyama Kenzo would die. He quickly squatted down and dragged Masuyama Kenzo's right foot and ran towards the stairs.
What's going on? Is the sniper one of us? Kagemitsu? But why did he kill Kenzo Masuyama?
He fumbled for the signal jammer from Kenzo Masuyama's pocket, and the headset returned to normal after turning it off.
"Hey, Akai? What's going on over there?"
"Judy and I have already retreated. The people in the building are our own."
Fujiwara Yu frowned deeply, which meant that the sniper on the building was indeed Morofushi Kagemitsu, but why did he choose to shoot? Did someone ask him to kill Masuyama Kenzo?
Is it Vermouth or Gin?
He really couldn't figure it out, so he had to drag Kenzo Masuyama's body back to the 75th floor. Now the interference of the signal jammer had been released, and he had to confirm the location of Akemi Miyano and others.
Fujiwara Yu took out his cell phone from his pocket and just as he was about to make a call, a series of missed calls appeared. They were all from Edogawa Conan. It was obvious that this guy really cared about his safety.
He quickly replied to an email to Kudo and called Mingmei's number directly.
"Asami, where are you?"
"The children and I are on the 70th floor. Was that you who made that noise just now?"
"Well, I'll pick you up on the 70th floor. We're the only ones left in this building now, so we need to find a way to evacuate."
"OK."
-----------------
Conan Edogawa, who was far away in front of the communication bridge of Building B, was extremely anxious. He didn't know what was going on with Sosuke Toji, and he couldn't get in touch with the Junior Detective League at all. He was really going crazy.
