In this deserted corner far away from the amusement parks, it is so quiet that you can clearly hear the rustling of grass leaves.
Shinichi Kudo, who followed the man in sunglasses here, tiptoed to the corner. He was wondering if he had come to the wrong place. Just as he was about to turn around and leave, he heard a conversation from the side.
"Sorry to have kept you waiting, Mr. President."
Kudo Shinichi quickly moved to the corner of the wall, popped out half of his head and took advantage of the fact that there were no street lights around him to successfully find the man in sunglasses he was looking for. At the same time, the short and fat man standing opposite him was holding a metal box that looked quite heavy in his hands.
Holding it in his arms indicated its importance, and it was clear that he didn't want to give it away. The weight... could it be filled with money?
The short, fat man with two tufts of beard on each side of his cheeks looked around cautiously, obviously not wanting others to see their transaction. When he looked up at the man in sunglasses, his fear was visible:
"I, I came alone as agreed. Why didn't you keep the agreed time?"
"Heh, we know you came alone. I confirmed that on the roller coaster." Vodka was pleased with the other party's fear. He put one hand in his pocket and said with a hint of disdain, "As for time, we're not in a hurry. You're the one who's anxious, right? Mr. President, please be careful with your attitude."
The short, fat man swallowed hard, wiping away the cold sweat that was dripping down his face with his free hand. His aura instantly weakened, and it was obvious that he didn't want to offend the man in sunglasses in front of him.
"Please give me the things. This is the amount I have prepared."
Shinichi Kudo realized that the two parties were going to conduct an illegal transaction, so he quickly took out his mobile phone to take a picture, but when he thought that Sosuke Takagi was in the amusement park, he lowered his head to turn off the camera mode and immediately chose to edit the email.
He was editing his email while keeping a close eye on the transaction. When he saw the short, fat man open the metal box, revealing bundles of banknotes, he couldn't help but sigh inwardly: What a lot of money, this must be 100 million yen, right?!
Vodka carefully picked up a stack of banknotes, and after making sure that the blank paper underneath was not used as a filler, he said with a wicked smile:
"Hmph, you don't have the guts to do that. Here, take it. These are the negatives and photos of evidence of your gun smuggling. Remember to manage them well and don't do bad things again."
"Shut up! Compared to what your organization does, my situation is nothing!"
organize?
Gun smuggling is already a felony. Could it be that the organization run by this man in sunglasses is even worse than that? Kudo Shinichi frowned, looking down at the unsent email on the screen. He thought it would be better to listen to the content and then make a call. This matter couldn't be explained clearly in the email.
Vodka's face changed when he heard this. He turned around and stared coldly at the trading partner in front of him. He suddenly reached out and pulled up his collar, causing the other party's feet to leave the ground.
He tilted his head, his tone threatening, and said something that made the other person's legs tremble:
"Hey, how much do you know about us? We only took 100 million yen from you and spared your life... Do you think we took too little? Or do you feel uncomfortable with your head being in your body?"
"No, no, thank you, I know nothing!" The short and fat man was so scared that he was incoherent. He hated himself for being so talkative. Why didn't he just take the film and leave? He had to satisfy his urge to talk so much.
"If you want to thank me, then close the company and go somewhere else." Vodka smiled and let go of his hand, causing the other person to fall to the ground. He said condescendingly, "We just want to build a new laboratory on that land. Do you understand?"
"Understood, I'm leaving now, taking the company with me!"
Seeing the short and fat man crawling away like a dog, Kudo Shinichi couldn't help swallowing. He lowered his head to open the address book and was about to click on the interface of Sosuke Takashi, when he suddenly noticed that the signal bar was empty.
There is no signal here?
Kudo Shinichi turned around helplessly and prepared to go somewhere else to receive the signal. But just as he turned back, a pair of black leather shoes broke into his field of vision. At the same time, a voice actor with a chilling voice came from above:
"Are you planning on reporting this to that stupid police officer?"
“!
!”
Looking up, the moment he met the cold gaze, Kudo Shinichi realized that the situation was not good. He gritted his teeth and ran in the opposite direction. He would definitely not have a good ending if he fell into this man's hands.
Gin looked at Kudo Shinichi who had exposed his back to him, and without hesitation he pulled out a telescopic baton from his windbreaker. He took two steps forward and slammed it towards the back of Kudo's head. When he saw him stumble and fall, he still taunted him:
"The detective game ends here."
"Uh huh."
The intense pain from the back of his head made it impossible for Kudo Shinichi to maintain his balance. He collapsed on the grass, his phone falling to the side. He endured the pain and tried to retrieve the phone. As long as he could call Brother Ying Si, there would definitely be a way out.
There are still police officers around who have not retreated. No matter how brave they are, they dare not shoot at will. At most they will suffer some physical pain.
However, the reality is cruel.
Just when Kudo Shinichi was about to hook his phone, Gin stepped heavily on the back of his hand. He also covered Kudo Shinichi's mouth to avoid attracting the annoying flies around.
"Big brother?"
"Huh, you were actually followed by this brat."
