The set alarm on the mobile phone rang as scheduled at the designated time, waking up Fujiwara Yu who was lying flat on the bed immersed in a dream. The cold sweat on his forehead and the tightly furrowed brows silently swore that the dream he had was not a sweet dream, but a nightmare.
I had that dream again. Who was that guy wearing a black goat mask?
Fujiwara Yu shook his head in pain. This was something he had experienced personally, so why hadn't his memory returned to him? He could only capture fragmented fragments in his dreams every time. This dream was even more similar to the previous ones, and it was completely useless. He also had no idea where he was kidnapped that year.
He stood up and opened the curtains, but the sunlight still shone in. He didn't know how long it would take to truly dispel the darkness. He hoped that this day would not drag on for too long.
After all, there are many people who want to move forward in life, and there are also people who are always waiting for reunion.
Fujiwara Yu dragged his slightly tired body to the bathroom to wash up. After changing into clean clothes, he did not forget to pack a few clean clothes into his sports bag. Today was the day he and Akemi set off for Kyoto, and he didn't know if anything bad would happen during this holiday.
"Good morning."
Miyano Akemi, who was preparing sandwiches in the kitchen, came back to her senses with a smile. After noticing the dark circles under Fujiwara Yu's eyes, she asked with some concern:
"Ayou, did you have insomnia last night? Why don't you take some sleeping pills with you on the bus? You can get some rest in the car."
"It's okay, I'm just a little tired from work these past few days, so I should take less sleeping pills."
Fujiwara Yu came to the calendar as usual, thinking that today should be May 10th. However, when he saw the date, he couldn't help rubbing his eyes, unable to believe the date he saw.
April 9th, Water Sunday.
How could this happen? Time actually went back a month?
Fujiwara Yu's expression became serious. It seemed that the time disorder was even greater than before. The time that had originally flowed from January to December was now flowing backwards.
But apart from myself, no one seemed to notice the problem.
After a simple breakfast, the two went out to the Shinkansen station. After arriving in Kyoto by Shinkansen, they found a taxi and took it to the agreed location.
The driver smoothly parked the car on the street closest to Matsuzaki subway station. He turned around and said:
"Two passengers, we have arrived at Matsuzaki subway station. The total fare is 2850 yen."
"Here you go, no need to look for it."
It was Miyano Akemi's first time in Kyoto. She looked at the cherry blossoms in full bloom on the street and recalled the scene of her confession. Now the cherry blossom tree in the yard had bloomed light pink flowers... As expected, cherry blossoms give people a romantic feeling.
Fujiwara Yu, who was in charge of carrying the luggage, realized that there was something special inside the ordinary-looking suitcase after he lifted it. Could it be that the weight was due to the several lead balls placed inside?
Although he is a bit of a straight man, he didn't ask any extra questions. Maybe it was because he brought a lot of cosmetics.
"Sousuke, is that the bus? I remember the license plate is 41-43, right?" Miyano Akemi noticed the light yellow tourist bus parked in the open-air parking lot and asked.
"Well, this is it. Looks like we're quite late."
The two walked forward, and the man in the driver's uniform stopped them with his hand and explained:
"Did you two get on the wrong bus? This is the bus to the live-action script-killing party."
"We're here to participate in a live-action scripted murder show." Fujiwara Yu pulled an envelope from his pocket, looked at the man in front of him, who was estimated to be around thirty-five, and explained, "The thing is, Kudo Shinichi, who was invited, couldn't come, so he asked me to come. Is that okay?"
The bus driver looked embarrassed. He had to ask the organizer for his opinion. After making a phone call, he smiled and said:
"I've just asked the organizer, and he said we can participate. Otherwise, if there aren't enough people, we won't be able to carry out the live-action script. Please get in the car."
"Um."
After Fujiwara Yuu and Miyano Akemi got on the bus, they found that there were already six people sitting in the bus. They were all of similar age, and seeing how they were chatting and laughing, perhaps they were all acquaintances?
The girl who was sitting in her seat and putting on makeup noticed two new people getting on the bus. Her eyes lit up when she saw the handsome guy, but because her fiancé was right next to her, she had to look away and pretend nothing happened.
The short-haired girl sitting next to the goddess who was putting on makeup also noticed the two new passengers. After she was sure that they were not familiar classmates, she was about to look away when she felt that the purple-haired man looked a little familiar.
Strange, I feel like I've seen him somewhere before. Could he be some popular actor?
"Huh?" The blond man, kneeling on the seat and chatting with the girl in the back seat, noticed the two people getting on the bus. He immediately showed a surprised expression and shouted, "Wow! You're that super famous policeman, right? What's your name? Sosuke?"
After being reminded by her friend, the short-haired girl quickly realized why this person looked familiar and couldn't help but say:
"The officer's name is Takashi Sosuke, not Sosuke."
"Hey? Is he a policeman?" The black-haired boy sitting next to him widened his eyes in surprise, and then said speechlessly, "What the hell? Letting the police participate in the script-killing, how can we show our acting skills?"
Fujiwara Yuu didn't expect that he would be recognized so immediately. As expected, the purple hair was too memorable. If he had known earlier, he should have asked Mingmei to disguise him.
