Led by Sakurako Yonehara, the two police officers went to the second floor. As expected, just as Fujiwara Yuu had thought, there was a sock left in the corridor by someone unknown, and the bottom of the sock was covered in dust.
Takagi Shigeru used to have some illusions about the environment girls live in, but now his illusions are completely shattered. This is even sloppier than his own. He randomly picked up a round badge that had "Hayami Junji" written on it, which seemed to be the name of this two-dimensional character. He roughly counted the number of similar round badges on the table and said in a strange tone:
"This family probably has a habit of buying the same decorations. No wonder they're struggling financially."
"Inspector Takashi, you don't know this, huh?"
"Baji?"
