"Then can you teach me? I also want to learn Kyudo."
A rare look of surprise appeared on Fujiwara Yu's handsome face, which was always calm. He obviously didn't expect her to say this.
He believed that most people wouldn't be interested in Kyudo, and the complex and tedious etiquette always put many people off. While living in the United States, he witnessed many of his fellow Kyudo students give up on their studies.
"Are you serious?"
"certainly."
Fujiwara Yuu moved his fingers, thought for a moment, and nodded:
"Then come with me."
The two of them arrived at the archery grounds. Fujiwara Yu used his height advantage to easily reach out and take out the archery uniform from the cabinet above. He handed it to Saito Masami and explained:
"If you want to practice Kyudo, it's better to wear a Kyudo uniform. This is the Kyudo uniform I used four years ago. It should be more suitable for your figure. Go over there and try it on."
He seemed to remember something and did not forget to add:
"It's washed again every week and is clean."
Akemi Miyano took the kyudo uniform with a smile and ran to the locker room nearby. She found that Fujiwara-kun seemed to be particularly concerned about hygiene. He was a good boy who loved cleanliness and would take the initiative to tidy up his things.
When Fujiwara Yu saw her change clothes, she had nothing to do so she did some basic twisting exercises on the spot to keep her body warm.
About ten minutes later, a hand finally opened the bamboo curtain in front of the locker room.
Even the kyudo uniform from four years ago seemed a bit too big for Miyano Akemi, as there was still a big difference in physique between boys and girls.
When Fujiwara Yu heard the noise, he turned his head to look. He realized that staring at someone was not polite. After looking away, he felt a strange regret in his heart.
What's wrong with me? Could I be sick?
Miyano Akemi lifted her overlong sleeves, looked at Fujiwara Yuu, who was lowering his head to wipe his longbow, and asked:
"Fujiwara-kun, this dress seems a little big for me. It shouldn't affect my studies, right?"
"It doesn't affect it, it fits me well. Come here and stand here. I'll teach you how to stand." Fujiwara Yuu stood beside the shooting position, looking straight ahead, and said in a deep voice: "Keep your body in a naturally upright position, with your feet parallel and legs straight, and your waist and abdomen sunk."
Miyano Akemi stood aside and observed carefully, then began to learn from the others. She also asked:
"Fujiwara-kun, do you think my posture is correct?"
"right."
She narrowed her eyes and stared at Fujiwara Yu who didn't even turn around to look at her. As if she remembered something, she stood on tiptoe and poked the back of his head with her hand. This time, he turned around quickly.
When Fujiwara Yu turned around, she didn't have time to withdraw her hand, and her fingertips directly poked his cheek. The touch was soft, and she could even feel the rising temperature of his cheek.
"What are you...doing?"
Miyano Akemi reacted and retracted her fingers in time, her panic causing her speech to gradually speed up:
"I just wanted to see if Fujiwara-kun had eyes on the back of his head. Otherwise, why wouldn't he know I was standing correctly without turning around?"
Fujiwara Yuu, who indeed didn't look back, could only cough twice and change the subject:
"Do it again, I'll watch."
"That's right, isn't it?"
He was so serious about Kyudo that after seeing her incorrect stance, Fujiwara Yuu forgot about the differences between men and women, and even his quirk of not wanting to touch others. He simply reached out and pressed on her shoulder, instructing her:
"Keep your neck straight and your shoulders relaxed, don't shrug."
Sudden physical contact always makes girls who are just beginning to fall in love feel excited. Of course, this physical contact must come from a boy she likes. If she doesn't like the boy, she will probably be in big trouble.
Fujiwara Yuu noticed the other person's eyes on him. He pinched her cheek seriously and turned it to the right, just like his father when he was strictly instructing him in swordsmanship, and said sternly:
"Don't look at me, look ahead."
Miyano Akemi obviously didn't expect Fujiwara-kun to do such an intimate thing. She tried to calm her heartbeat and concentrate on doing the correct Kyudo posture.
Fujiwara Yu stood aside without saying a word, just silently staring at Saito Masami in front of him who kept puffing up her lips and taking deep breaths to calm herself down. He felt that her puffing out her lips was a bit like a puffer fish that swelled up due to fear, which was a bit cute.
Plop, plop.
Fujiwara Yu, who was watching happily, suddenly changed his expression to a serious one. He turned his back and reached out to pinch his hot ears. What happened? Why did his heartbeat suddenly speed up?
Fujiwara Yu covered his chest and tried to control his heart rate. He did not choose to seek medical treatment because he knew that he had no history of heart disease and there was no genetic heart disease in his family.
So, the reason for my accelerated heartbeat was... her?
Just as Fujiwara Yuu was feeling lost, the power of wind gradually gathered around him. Miyano Akemi, who was still posing seriously, suddenly felt a chill. She looked up in confusion and asked:
"Did a gust of wind blow past just now?"
"No."
Fujiwara Yu was obviously lying with his eyes open. If he hadn't tried hard to suppress the wind power that suddenly became uncontrollable, he would probably be treated as an alien by Saito Masami.
Realizing the situation was not good, he looked seriously at Saito Masami, who was trying to refocus on practicing her standing posture, and said bluntly:
"I can't teach you Kyudo."
"Hmm? Why?"
"…The clothes don't fit, so no."
