Returning to the police academy for a lecture was a daily occurrence for the six members of the Onitsuka class, who were constantly "interfering" in cases as academy students. Although they were the passive party, the cases always found them.
After the six people took the initiative to go to Onizuka Hachizo's office to "surrender", they were not scolded by the instructor. The instructor was even in a good mood and took the Polaroid camera that he had broken and asked Matsuda to help fix it, which was regarded as writing off the matter.
Anyway, they successfully assisted the police in solving the case, so it can't be said that they were causing trouble.
After leaving the instructor's office, Fujiwara Yuu was planning to go back to the dormitory to take a shower and sleep, but he was caught by Akihara Kenji and went straight to the top floor. He frowned in confusion and looked at Akihara who pushed him, wondering:
"Didn't they get a new lock on the rooftop door? And what are you doing up there at this hour?"
"Of course we're going to hold a small meeting, and the food and drinks are ready!" Akihara Kenji shook the plastic bag in his hand as if by magic and said with a smile.
No wonder he could smell the aroma of fried food. It turned out the culprit behind him was the one wafting the fragrance. Fujiwara Yuu stopped and leaned over to check the lock hanging in front of the iron door on the rooftop. He frowned and said,
"Matsuda isn't here, how are we going to get in?"
"Hey, Fujiwara-chan, are you underestimating me? I'm also noticed by the seniors in the mobile team, okay?"
"Oh, then please start your performance."
Kenji Akihara directly stuffed the plastic bag containing fried chicken and beer into Fujiwara's hand, squatted down and took out a piece of wire from his pocket. He even demonstrated it on the spot, deliberately slowing down his movements to explain the method and principle of using wire to open the lock.
He easily bent the wire, placed one end on the lock core to push it upwards, and placed the other end on top of the spring to press it downwards. He successfully made a piece of wire simulate the appearance of a key opening a lock. After constantly fine-tuning the position and force, he successfully opened this old-fashioned round lock.
"How about it, my skills are pretty good, right?" Akihara Kenji said proudly. Although he was not as fast as Matsuda Jinpei, he managed to finish it within two minutes.
Fujiwara Yu narrowed his eyes and reached out his hand to pat twice in a pretentious manner, then said lazily with an expressionless face:
"Your skills are quite impressive, but I'm worried that one day you'll be apprehended by the senior officers from Investigation Section 2. You might even run into a senior officer in jail, Matsuda Jinpei."
"Pfft, your serious humor is quite amusing." Akihara Kenji carefully pushed the door open, stood on the rooftop and looked at Fujiwara with a smile, saying: "Then congratulations, you have become our accomplice!"
"I still prefer being a police officer, so... I'll just be a prison guard despite the difficulties."
"Get lost! Hahahaha!"
Fujiwara Yu, who became an accomplice, skillfully climbed to the highest point of the rooftop. This small platform had become their base in the police academy. He put the plastic bag of fried chicken and beer on it and climbed up quickly. But when he was about to reach the top, he heard the sound of taking pictures and the unrestrained flash of lights behind him.
Kacha.
Fujiwara Yuu turned around in confusion. Standing below, Matsuda Jinpei was fiddling with his Polaroid camera. After confirming that the camera was fine, he smiled and pointed it at the somewhat bewildered Fujiwara, saying cheerfully:
"Fuji, just stay like this and don't move!"
"?"
Fujiwara Yu, who had inexplicably become a model, was a little puzzled. He half wanted to ask if it was really okay to use the Polaroid film casually, but then he thought, taking a couple of test shots after repairing the camera seemed reasonable.
The photo paper was ejected slowly from the front of the camera. The latest model of Polaroid camera in 1996 was just an antique in Fujiwara's eyes. The speed, which was like a tractor, would really drive an impatient person crazy.
Matsuda Jinpei shook the photo paper and nodded with great satisfaction.
"Wow! Fuji, aren't your legs a little exaggerated? Why do they feel longer than the class monitor's legs? Tsk tsk tsk, with that body proportion and my photography skills, it would be a shame not to be a model."
"Xiao Zhenping, are you a little confident in your photography skills? This is because the model has good conditions. Don't forget the photos you took of my sister in high school. The beauty who was nearly 1.7 meters tall was photographed by you as 1.5 meters tall." Akihara Kenji stood aside and ruthlessly revealed the embarrassing things about his childhood friend, with a sly smile.
"...You're so annoying, hagi." Matsuda Jinpei rolled his eyes to express his speechlessness. He even felt a slight pain in his ears, as if Sister Chisu had pulled his ears hard twice that time.
It wasn't because he took the photo that was 1.5 meters tall, but because he handed the photo that was 1.5 meters tall to his teacher as a holiday photography assignment.
The belated arrival of Rei Furuya and the others, who had just reached the rooftop, heard Matsuda's embarrassing story, but remained polite and kept their composure. Yin Dahang, with his considerable height advantage, easily ascended the platform in three steps. He sat cross-legged, picked up a bottle of beer, clinked it with Fujiwara beside him, and then gulped down half the bottle in two gulps.
"Hiss—as expected, ice-cold beer is king in the summer! So refreshing!"
"Yeah, when it comes to summer, it's definitely fried chicken and beer."
Fujiwara Yuu doesn't have much of a fondness for fried food. It might be because he often visits convenience stores when he lives alone, so he doesn't like those grilled and fried fast food very much.
"Aren't watermelon and popsicles essential for summer?" He calmly picked up a piece of white radish and stuffed it into his mouth. It was sweet and sour, and the coolness was very refreshing. He also handed a handkerchief to Matsuda who was wolfing down his food.
"Speaking of watermelon, Zero used to like to smash watermelons with his head." Zhu Fushimizu held his chin and looked at Furuya Rei who was fighting with Matsuda for fried chicken, and smiled as he told the embarrassing stories of his childhood.
