Chapter 189,/.

Fujiwara Yu put away his longbow and walked towards the door. As soon as he opened the door, he felt something coming towards him. Having learned Iaido, he reacted very quickly. He raised his left hand and tightly grasped the other person's outstretched wrist.

After taking a closer look, I found that it was a stainless steel lunch box. I didn't know what was inside, but judging from the smell coming out of the gap, it should be something very sweet.

"Fujiwara-kun, why are you pinching my wrist? Are you eager to eat the sandwich I made?" Miyano Akemi asked curiously.

Fujiwara Yuu untied his hands and put them behind his back, then took a step back awkwardly to adjust the distance before answering:

"No, it's just a conditioned reflex of the body. You don't have to worry about it."

"I see."

Miyano Akemi walked into the courtyard. She didn't take a close look the last time she came. She had to say that the Japanese-style courtyard was really charming. There were koi swimming in the pond, which showed that the Fujiwara family must be very rich.

"You...didn't this take a long time?"

Miyano Akemi couldn't help but pause when she heard this. She looked up at the other person's awkward expression and knew that he was waiting for her arrival and blaming her for being late.

She pictured Fujiwara-kun looking towards the door from time to time, and she thought his indirect and indirect questions were a bit cute.

"I just went to mail a letter to my sister, so I'm late. Are you waiting for me at the door? Are you afraid that I might lie to you?"

She couldn't help but want to tease the simple and clean boy in front of her, wanting to see if he could accumulate more diverse expressions from his usually calm look.

"No, I'm just asking."

Having his little trick exposed, Fujiwara Yuu pursed his lips tightly, stretched out his hand to push open the door and said:

"The temperature is dropping quite a bit in the evening, so you'd better come inside."

Miyano Akemi walked into the quaint Japanese house with curiosity. She thought she would meet Fujiwara-kun's parents, but she didn't expect that there were not even adult slippers at the door.

Are they all in the shoe cabinet?

Fujiwara Yuu didn't notice what Saito Masami was thinking. He casually took out a pair of clean slippers and asked:

"These are new slippers, clean."

The shoe cabinet with three layers of capacity is filled with neatly arranged sneakers, with only two pairs of slippers placed on the bottom layer, which seems a bit strange.

Miyano Akemi wanted to ask, but she was a sensitive person and thought of some unpleasant things, so she swallowed her doubts, put on her slippers, and asked curiously:

"Fujiwara-kun, your house is very big. It must be difficult to clean it on a daily basis, right?"

Fujiwara Yu really wants to say that with the power of wind, it is extremely convenient to blow away the dust. Every day he opens the doors and windows, wears a mask, and turns on the power of wind to easily blow all the dust out.

"It's not too troublesome."

He walked to the kitchen, opened the slightly empty refrigerator, touched the tip of his nose and said awkwardly:

"Would you like... ice shaken lemon tea? Besides this, we only have mineral water."

"Isn't drinking an ice shake in this weather bad for your stomach?"

Fujiwara Yu, who has an inexplicable obsession with iced lemon tea, said very straightly:

“But it’s called Iced Lemon Tea.”

Miyano Akemi noticed Fujiwara Yuu's furrowed brow and suddenly wondered if he was a little old-fashioned, even a bit obsessive-compulsive. All the furniture was neatly arranged, and even when the toes of her sneakers were misaligned when she entered the room, he didn't even bother to straighten them out.

"Then drink it. The refreshing ice shaken lemon tea paired with the sandwich I made should be a good combination."

"Okay, then go sit in the living room for a while."

————————

The author's thoughts:

Iced shaken lemon tea is really good, but it's certainly not the cheap, pricey stuff you get from Starbucks. I personally prefer making my own drinks, making my own lemon syrup and keeping it in the fridge. Whenever I want to drink it, I just scoop a little and shake it up!
