"Thanks to the route drawn by Mr. Goshimada, we had a smooth journey."
"When you introduce yourselves later, please lie and say you are musical instrument collectors."
"no problem."
"Well, please follow me."
Yuge Masami walked all the way to the reception area and opened the door. The woman with medium-length brown hair sitting opposite the door showed a hint of surprise. She looked at the three people who walked into the room with some doubt and asked:
"Huh? Where's Gotoda? Didn't he come here with you?"
"Mr. Gotoda will be here with Mr. Yokomizo. Let me introduce myself. I'm Sosuke Takashi, a musical instrument collector who's been invited to the party. You can just call me Takashi."
"I'm Chisugi Akihara, Mr. Takashi's assistant. Just call me Akihara."
After the two briefly introduced themselves, the shaggy-haired man sitting on the sofa tutted. It wasn't that he was unhappy with the newcomer to the party, but rather that he bluntly criticized the absent Gotoda Manabu:
"Tsk, that loser Gotoda is always so slow, and he's still responsible for taking care of Yuge-sensei. And he's even late on such an important day. He's so unreliable!"
"Forget it, Kirishima. She's not just a babysitter. After all, she's a fellow student of ours." The man with medium-length hair and glasses said with a smile, but there was no intention of praising Goshima Manabu when he said this.
The man with gray hair put his hands in his pockets and looked out the window, a wicked smile on his face.
"But it's really bad luck. This party was supposed to be held last week, but it was moved to today because of a typhoon... If someone dies fighting over the succession, the police won't come!"
"Murasame! What nonsense are you talking about? There should be a limit to jokes!"
Fujiwara Yu and Akihara Chisawa couldn't help but look at each other. No wonder Yuge Masami asked them to lie. It seemed that this gathering was not simple. From his words, they could also hear that Mr. Yuge would choose his successor today.
The successor to the concertmaster? That's a title many people aspire to...it's the shortest path to becoming the concertmaster.
It's a bit difficult to get through tonight smoothly.
