Chapter 8 The sow knocked on the door in the middle of the night, and the second uncle and second aunt were frightened to death

It was already dark when Meng Fei returned home. The village was different from the city. After dark, few people moved around in the house.

In addition, there are only four households in Mengjiagou now. The others have either moved into the county or gone to the south to retire.

Meng Fei went to the firewood pile in front of his second uncle's house and got some firewood. He heated the kang and then lay down.

Meng Fei tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep, with an unusual excitement in his mind.

What happened in the past few days is really too shocking.

If my grandfather were still alive, he would definitely hit himself on the head with his walking stick.

They said he was dreaming and talking nonsense.

Meng Fei looked at the countdown that kept rolling in front of him. The number changed from 76 days to two years and 75 days.

Meng Fei felt extremely happy. Although he didn't have much time left to live, judging from the current popularity of his live broadcast room, he should be able to easily level up tomorrow.

After a period of wild thoughts, Meng Fei finally fell asleep.

However, just when Meng Fei was dreaming of eating honey, he was awakened by a crackling sound.

Meng Fei sat up suddenly, pricked up his ears, and determined the source of the sound.

He picked up the machete from the bedside and walked carefully to the window.

I saw several dark shadows at the fence in my backyard, and it seemed that they were pushing up the fence of my house.

Judging from the shape of the black shadow, it should be a pig.

Meng Fei was relieved and murmured to himself, "My second uncle and second aunt are too careless. The pig has been running away for a whole day and they haven't found it yet."

After saying that, he picked up the phone and called his second uncle.

The phone rang for a long time before someone picked up, and my second uncle's sleepy voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Ah~~~~~~Gouzi~~~~What's going on in the middle of the night?"

"Uncle, your pig has been running away for a whole day, how come you two didn't notice it?"

"Pigs? No, my Dahua and Erhua are staying well in the pen. I just fed them at dusk."

"Isn't it your pig?" Meng Fei was stunned for a moment, then came to his senses and said quickly.

"I guess I saw it wrong. Go to sleep, uncle."

"Kid, are you dreaming late at night? Come on, go to sleep."

After hanging up the phone, Meng Fei's face looked solemn.

He picked up the flashlight, carried the machete, and carefully walked out of the front door and around to the back of the house.

"Hehe"

"Hehehehe"

Hearing that there was more than one wild boar, Meng Fei suddenly turned on the flashlight and shouted loudly, trying to scare the wild boar away when he was about two meters away from the fence.

But the reality was far beyond Meng Fei's expectations.

He saw more than ten pairs of eyes of different sizes staring at him.

He was not afraid at all, but rather excited. He pushed hard and made a hole in the fence, then got into Meng Fei's backyard.

“Hehe~~~”

Leading the group was a huge sow, which was the wild boar mother that Meng Fei rescued yesterday, and there were twelve little wild boars following her.

“It’s you guys!!”

Meng Fei was very happy to see that it was the mother pig and piglets he rescued yesterday.

Just as he was about to step forward, another light came on behind him, and someone shouted:

"Dog! Get out of the way, it's dangerous!"

The person who spoke was my second uncle. At this time, my second uncle was holding a shovel in his hand and staring at the mother pig in front of him with a fierce look.

Seeing that Meng Fei didn't move but instead smiled at him, the second uncle suddenly became anxious.

"You still have time to laugh! Hurry up, you little bastard! Stay away from that thing. Wild boars with their cubs in the spring are the most ferocious! Your third uncle's leg was bitten off by a wild boar!"

When the mother pig saw a stranger, she immediately bared her teeth at the second uncle and dug the ground with her two front hooves.

The next second, Meng Feijing walked up to the mother pig and touched her head.

My second uncle was dumbfounded, and my second aunt who came hurriedly was also dumbfounded.

The two people stood there in a daze, with a look of disbelief on their faces.

Meng Fei patted the mother pig's head gently, signaling it to be quiet.

Then, he turned around and looked at his second uncle and second aunt who looked shocked, and smiled.

"Don't worry, Uncle, this wild boar won't bite anyone."

Then he repeated to his uncle and aunt what happened yesterday.

"What?! You delivered the baby!!" Second Aunt pointed at the wild boar mother and stammered, looking as if she had seen a ghost.

"You are so brave, next time you encounter something like this, stay away from it. After all, this thing is not a human."

Having lived in the mountains for most of my life, if I were to ask what animal mountain people are most afraid of, wild boars would definitely be at the top of the list.

First of all, wild boars are extremely powerful. They roll in mud pits all year round, making their skin as hard as iron. Ordinary guys can't break their defense at all.

Besides, wild boars always damage crops. In the past, they could be shot down with just a few shots.

But now the guns have been confiscated, and wild boars are now protected animals.

They can neither be beaten nor driven away, and this has always been a major concern for the villagers.

The second uncle came to his senses and watched in amazement. He was eager to go forward and try to touch the wild boar.

But before he had taken a few steps, he saw the wild boar baring its teeth at him, so he retreated in disappointment.

"Dog, your grandfather has said that you are spiritual since you were a child. He is indeed right. However, these creatures are wild after all. You should let them go back, otherwise the dogs in our village will have to keep their tails between their legs."

The second uncle looked at the mother pig and the twelve little wild boars behind her and advised.

Meng Fei also knew that it was not appropriate for this thing to stay in the village, so he simply nodded and turned to look at the mother pig.

Not caring whether it could understand or not, he squatted down and spoke.

"Go away. This place is not suitable for you to live. The mountains are your home."

However, the mother pig looked up and glanced at Meng Fei, then turned and ran towards the long-abandoned pigpen in his backyard.

"This......" Meng Fei was confused.

My second uncle and aunt were also confused.

"Dog, what's going on? Is this pig planning to stay here and not leave?"

Meng Fei spread his hands, indicating that he didn't know either.

After that, Meng Fei and his second uncle went to the pigpen several times to chase the pig, but the mother pig, weighing more than 500 pounds, lay in the corner and neither of them could pull her out.

On the contrary, the little pigs thought that the two were playing games with them and ran around in the pigpen.

Running and shouting, very happy.

Second Aunt watched the two people's miserable appearance and laughed so hard that she fell over.

"Oh my god~ Haha~ You two are really making me laugh~ Forget it, since this pig is so smart, let's just not leave. Just treat it as keeping the dog company."

After hearing what the second aunt said, the two looked at each other and gave up.
