She smiled bitterly. She had been forced to do too many things in her life, and her days of frustration were almost over. She only hoped that she could do something for her son before she died.

Over at the state-owned restaurant, Li Wei was ordering food when she whispered in Jiang Wanying's ear, "What should we order? I don't have enough money... What if he orders something expensive?"
Jiang Wanying didn't know whether to laugh or cry, "Don't worry, I have money."
"Okay, but let's make a deal first: we each pay half. I'll pay you back when we get back. You can't refuse to accept it." Every time Li Wei went out with Jiang Wanying, she would rush to pay.
Li Wei thinks that although they have a good relationship, he can't always spend her money.
Jiang Wanying pursed her lips and smiled, "I'll do as you say."
Li Wei then began to order dishes with peace of mind. Not long after, Tan Hui came back. He was very easy-going and did not order more dishes. Li Wei was quite happy and felt that her wallet was safe.
Jiang Wanying felt that she was treating the guests, so she ate to her heart's content without any "idol burden".
After eating, all the dishes were gone, so Tan Hui smiled and asked the waiter to add more dishes. When Li Wei took Jiang Wanying's small wallet to pay the bill, she found out that the money had already been paid.
It turned out that as soon as Tan Hui came back, he paid the money here, and they would refund any excess and make up for any shortfall. It was obvious that they had not yet reached the point of having to pay the additional money.
Li Wei returned to the table somewhat embarrassedly, "Comrade Tan Hui, we agreed to treat you, why did you pay first?"
Tan Hui had already eaten his fill. He wiped his mouth and replied, "It's not right to ask a young girl to pay when you're out. People who don't know me might think I'm a gigolo."
Li Wei was amused by his words, but she didn't want to take advantage of him. "I'll give you the money back."
"Forget about the money. Why don't you treat me next time?" Tan Hui refused to accept the money, wanting another reason to meet again.
Li Wei glanced at Jiang Wanying awkwardly, only to see her nod, "Ye."
After finishing their meal, the three of them left together. Tan Hui wanted to take them back to their residence, but Jiang Wanying didn't want to reveal her whereabouts. "Let's just take them here. The road is just ahead. Mr. Tan, please stay."
Tan Hui paused and said, "Okay, then be careful. I'm leaving first."
"Thank you, take care."
Jiang Wanying spoke in a distant but polite manner. Only after she could no longer see Tan Hui's back did she feel at ease and pull Li Wei back home.
Tan Hui didn't walk far before coming out of a corner alley. His eyes followed the two vague figures in front of him, and he followed the two girls all the way back to the rental house.
He hid behind a tree and silently noted the location. When he put his hands into his coat pockets, he touched something. When he took it out, he found that it was money!
Something flashed through his mind, and he couldn't help but curl his lips. It seemed that Jiang Wanying was much more difficult to approach than he had imagined.
Once she got home, Li Wei touched her bulging belly and asked curiously, "Yingying, do you think that Tan Hui would try to curry favor with us in order to pursue Xu Jiahe?"
