Chapter 63: Not Allowing Kissing and Seduction

My aunt spent a long time chasing butterflies in the back garden in the afternoon and turned it into a dirty cat. It took two maids to clean it up.

Now it has become a brand new pretty kitten again, walking towards me with a demure cat gait.

After seeing Yangyang, it jumped onto the sofa, stepped on Pei Yuning's legs, tilted its head, stretched out its pink cat paws, and gently touched Yangyang who was watching the cartoon.

Jinjin likes people praising her, so she moved closer to Yangyang's hand and rubbed against him: "Meow~"

The clock on the wall pointed to the Roman numeral eight.

Shang Yanci took out the milk powder and the cup with a straw from his bag, walked into the kitchen, and made a cup of milk according to the ratio of milk powder to water and the water temperature in the "Child Raising Manual". He tested the temperature and brought it back to the sofa: "Yangyang, it's time for some milk."

Yangyang took it and held it steadily: "Thank you, uncle."

Shang Yanci: "You're welcome."

Half an hour later, Pei Yuning turned off the cartoon, said goodnight to grandpa and grandma, and took Yangyang back to the bedroom to wash up. Shang Yanci carried a furry pink bag and went upstairs with them. Jinjin followed like a little tail.

Pei Yuning took out the toiletries from her bag and led her into the bathroom.

Auntie went into the cat's den, wagging her tail.

Shang Yanci went to the guest bedroom bathroom to wash up, then went downstairs to the kitchen to boil some vanilla milk. Then he returned to Pei Yuning's bedroom, took out the storybook from his bag, and started reading the stories that had not been told yet.

Pei Yuning remembered Fu Siqi saying that Yangyang had only had a cold for a few days, so he didn't dare let her take a shower for too long. After the shower, he wiped off the water droplets on her body, changed her into cute bunny pajamas, covered her with a small blanket, and started to blow-dry her hair.

After her hair was blow-dried and combed, Yangyang was washed soft and fragrant. Pei Yuning pinched her pink face and picked her up: "Baby is so cute."

Yangyang hugged Pei Yuning's neck and kissed her on the side of her cheek.

Pei Yuning smiled and opened the bathroom door: "Kiss the right side too."

So Yangyang kissed her right cheek again.

Pei Yuning put her on the bed, covered her with a quilt, and looked at Shang Yanci who was holding a storybook in his hand: "A Yan, you take care of Yangyang. I'm going to wash up. I'm going to simplify my skin care tonight. I'll be out soon."

Shang Yanci: "Yangyang's biological clock is around nine o'clock. The child is sleepy, so Madam should follow the previous skin care routine and not rush."

"Okay." Pei Yuning took her nightgown and walked into the bathroom.

Yangyang lay down obediently and closed her eyes: "Uncle, you can tell me the story now."

"Okay." Shang Yanci told her a story in a gentle voice while patting her gently.

At ten past nine, Yangyang fell asleep. Shang Yanci continued to read and clap for five minutes, then closed the storybook, got up, turned off the light on the bedroom ceiling, and replaced it with a soft night light.

Shang Yanci walked lightly through the cat's nest and to the bathroom door. When the water stopped, he whispered, "Madam, Yangyang is asleep, and so is Jinjin. You can take your time washing. Open the bathroom door when you're done. I'll come in and learn from you while you're doing your skin care."

Hearing Shang Yanci's words, Pei Yuning added back the omitted hair care process and responded to him with a light "hmm".

Pei Yuning thought that Yangyang might not be able to sleep at night after moving to a new place. Unexpectedly, Shang Yanci coaxed her to sleep so quickly. It seemed that Yangyang was really well behaved and not noisy at all, just like Fu Siqi said. She was a little angel baby.

My aunt usually doesn't go to bed so early. I guess she spent too much energy chasing butterflies in the back garden in the afternoon.

Shang Yanci leaned against the wall outside the bathroom door, replying to messages about his work abroad while occasionally looking up at Yangyang on the bed to see if she was awake.

Pei Yuning finished her shower, blew her hair dry, and walked over to open the bathroom door.

Shang Yanci heard her light footsteps, walked to the door and stood there, raising his hand and knocking lightly on the door to avoid scaring her when he opened the door later.

Shang Yanci's outline could be vaguely seen through the frosted glass door. Pei Yuning opened the bathroom door, and Shang Yanci walked in, put his arms around her soft waist, and bent down to kiss her.

Pei Yuning held his face with both hands and pushed him back, not letting him get any closer. It was a close call, or he would have turned into a pig.

Shang Yanci looked at her intently: "You won't let me kiss you?"

Pei Yuning shook his head: "No."

Shang Yanci has always been a man of few plans, but he miscalculated more than once in front of Pei Yuning.

In the afternoon, he deliberately put cream on the corner of his mouth to seduce her, and when Pei Yuning bit and kissed him, she cooperated but did not take the initiative. With her previous petty temper, she would definitely get angry and bite him, but she did not.

Later, when he pretended to turn around and leave the kitchen without waiting for her response, he thought she would pull him back and not let him return to the chess game as he wished, but she didn't.

Shang Yanci lifted a strand of her curly hair and twisted it between his fingers. He looked at her intently and asked in a low voice, "What should I do so that my wife will agree to kiss me?"
