Chapter 77 Swan Castle (First Update)

Chapter 77 Swan Castle (First Update)

Unless there is a specific plot, under normal circumstances, the NPCs in "Heartbeat 1000%" will not hold the guests back in any way.

The ghost wizard was taken away by several male servants of Swan Castle to change into a set of clothes that fit him well; the whole process was quite quick and efficient.

The servants' living quarters were located in the long corridors on the left and right sides of the castle. The ghost wizard picked out a uniform that originally belonged to a young male butler and awkwardly put it on himself.

In terms of learning ability, the Ghost Wizard had no problem at all, and he also had several male servants to guide and help him.

Soon, the ghost wizard was dressed in new clothes.

The ghost wizard's facial features, now in human form, finally became clear. He had a handsome appearance and a scholarly air, clearly indicating that he was very learned.

The ghost wizard's skin was extremely pale, the kind of white that comes from spending most of his time indoors and not being exposed to sunlight. Combined with his much thinner physique than the average person, he had a unique scholarly air about him.

The male butler uniforms that the male servants found were actually a bit too loose for the ghost wizard, but the ghost wizard's height was good enough that he didn't feel uncomfortable wearing them.

The not-too-fitting design actually flattered his figure, making the ghost wizard appear even taller and more upright.

For so many long years before, the Ghost Wizard had hardly ever worn any clothes properly.

When he was young, the ghost wizard did try to dress up like other children, but this only made his transparent body, which was completely different from ordinary people, stand out even more, causing more fear, hatred and rejection.

Later, ghost wizards learned to cover their entire bodies completely with wide cloaks and hoods, and even drew layers of magic circles on them to avoid any prying eyes.

Until today, with Yu Naixin's help, the ghost wizard finally realized his lifelong wish—to become a physical being and have a normal human body. Only then did he begin to clumsily learn how to adorn himself with the clothes that humans should wear.

Just imagining Yu Naixin preparing that transformation potion down to the last, simplest step, then handing it to me with a smile, asking, "You should be able to recognize what kind of potion this is, right?"...

The ghost wizard could feel with perfect clarity that the heart, now with a physical form, within his newly reborn body, suddenly began to beat faster.

Thump, thump.

The ghost wizard could even clearly remember the curve of Yu Naixin's eyebrows when she smiled, the sparkling light in her equally curved eyes, the way she tilted her head, and the slightly upturned corners of her lips carrying a hint of slyness, making her both lively and sweet.

A palpitation, as if weightless, mixed with a slight joy, resounded throughout the ghost wizard's chest in an instant.

He had to extend his right hand and press it tightly against his left chest to calm his heart a little.

However, it had no real effect.

The ghost wizard doesn't really need to be completely calmed down.

He couldn't help but look up towards the third floor of the central round tower, unconsciously recalling the scene when he and Yu Naixin parted ways there.

The ghost wizard thought that this noble, elegant, and talented princess must be proficient in other forms of magic besides making potions.

Otherwise... how could he explain the fact that she kept appearing in his mind and heart?

The Ghost Wizard was already looking forward to his next meeting with Yu Naixin.

Finally, the ghost wizard carefully straightened his cuffs and collar, checking them repeatedly to ensure there were no extra wrinkles.

...He wanted to greet Yu Naixin in the most perfect way.

The Ghost Wizard's livestream view was reopened after he had finished dressing.

[The ghost has finally put his pants back on?!]

The black screen around the ghost is finally gone, but it seems like hardly anyone is watching from this angle.

[They either went upstairs from the female guest's perspective, or they watched the fight outside the castle from the perspective of the other three male guests, right? Vampires, elves, and werewolves were all fighting in the rose garden; it looked really intense!]

[Oh my god! You know what, the ghost actually looks quite handsome after it materializes. I thought it would have a gloomy appearance, but it just looks melancholic.]

The guests on the variety show "Heartbeat 1000%" are generally not ugly; they're all incredibly good-looking.

Is the ghost all packed and ready to go? Where is he going? Will he also leave the castle to meet up with the other three male guests?

The ghost wizard's goal was very clear.

He pushed open the door of the fitting room and headed straight for the third floor of the central tower.

With the Ghost Wizard's perception abilities, it wouldn't be difficult for him to roughly determine the direction of Yu Naixin, whom he had already met and interacted with.

After all, Swan Castle is only so big. If the ghost wizard sensed that Yu Naixin's aura was at a higher level, it could only be above the third floor.

The ghost wizard will wait for Yu Naixin's return at the place where he and Yu Naixin parted ways.

In terms of speed alone, only the Elf Prince could rival the Ghost Wizard in the entire dungeon. Yu Naixin simply couldn't catch up without burning her spiritual power to pilot the Priest's Folding Fan.

The central tower of Swan Castle is connected by spiral staircases. The ghost wizard guards the entrance to the third-floor staircase, and Yu Naixin will always pass by here when she comes down from the ground floor.

The entrance to the fourth floor was open, but the ghost wizard didn't even try to go up. He simply stayed in the place that Yu Naixin had once allowed him to stay, without overstepping his bounds in the slightest.

Midway through, the ghost wizard also caught a very strange spiritual energy fluctuation, somewhat like Yu Naixin's, yet not quite like Yu Naixin's, and it was extremely weak, disappearing in a flash and quickly vanishing without a trace.

Ghost Wizard: "...?!"

What exactly is this thing?

The ghost wizard frowned, looked up somewhat bewildered, unsure if it was just his imagination.

What's wrong with the ghost?

[Switch to the female guest's perspective! Quick! Everyone who hasn't seen it yet, come and watch now! Quick!!]

Come quick!! You'll regret it if you don't watch!!!

About two minutes later, Yu Naixin finally appeared at the top of the stairs on the fourth floor.

The princess's attire only included a dress and a crown. Yu Naixin was wearing her own shoes, a pair of simple white flats that didn't particularly match the outfit, but didn't look out of place either.

Her toes landed on the first step downwards, and soon her shoes were covered by the snow-white, fluffy skirt. Yu Naixin lifted the hem of her skirt and walked down with a calm and composed gait.

From the ghost wizard's perspective, Yu Naixin walked towards him little by little from above, from the hem of her skirt to her waist, from her shoulders to her face, like a slow-motion close-up shot of magic in a crystal ball.

Not a single detail is imperfect, not a single detail is not dazzling.

The Ghost Wizard's mindset is no longer what it used to be.

As he watched Yu Naixin slowly descend the rotating steps, he suddenly understood why the werewolf knight had been so infatuated with her.

...because she is truly captivating.

Just before their eyes met, the ghost wizard seemed to wake from a dream, and hurriedly knelt on one knee at the bottom of the last step, placing his right fist on his left chest, bowing his head deeply, and said in a deep voice, "Welcome... Your Highness!"

Yu Naixin heard this greeting and just as she turned the last corner, she was able to see the ghost wizard's figure.

Yu Naixin: "...?"

For a split second, Yu Naixin was stunned.

She had never seen the Ghost Wizard dressed normally before, and the Ghost Wizard's posture made it impossible to see his face. If it weren't for the huge difference in their body sizes, Yu Naixin would have thought that the person making this gesture to her was a werewolf knight.
