Song Yuan's eyes flickered, and she pretended to be understanding and said, "Since sister-in-law is unwilling to help, forget it. I won't bother you anymore."
Originally, she thought that Jian Yuelan would be embarrassed to refuse after hearing this, but unexpectedly, Jian Yuelan stared at her for a few seconds, sneered, and walked away.
In an instant, Song Yuan's face turned dark.
She looked at Jian Yuelan's back as she left, her eyes burning as if she wanted to burn her to death.
Xiao Xiaocao, who was obsessed with the watch, saw her unhappy expression and couldn't help but wonder, "Old Song..."
"Song Yuan."
"Okay, okay, I'll call you Song Yuan."
Xiao Xiaocao was impatient after being interrupted, but she was too lazy to argue with her about this issue and asked, "What exactly do you want Sister Ye to help you with?"
Jian Yuelan's ears trembled and her pace slowed down.
In her judgment, Song Yuan would not tell Xiao Xiaocao the truth.
"It's none of your business."
"Why doesn't it matter? It does matter, okay?"
Xiao Xiaocao was dissatisfied, "Sister Ye is not willing to help you, but I am willing to help you. Just lend me your watch."
Then, the two of them started arguing about this matter again.
Hearing the arguing coming from behind, Jian Yuelan clicked her tongue and thought that these two together were like a nest of snakes and rats.
Five minutes later, she arrived home.
Seeing the big bag she brought back, Father Jane, who had already packed up his things and ran to dig the soil, twisted his face for a moment, "How much did you buy?"
"Not much, just over a hundred pounds of seafood and dried fruits."
Jian Yuelan put the things down, took the cup of water handed to her by Jane's mother, drank most of the water, and explained, "They are all good stuff, but the bag is not big enough, otherwise I would have to buy some more."
Mother Jane wanted to beat someone up. She looked at the packed gifts and then at the local specialties that Jane Yuelan brought back, and her heart was filled with despair.
"There are too many. Your father and I can't move back."
Jian Yuelan, who thought it was no big deal, smiled and said, "I'll take you and Dad to the car. After you leave, I'll send a telegram to my brothers and ask them to pick you up on time. You two don't need to worry about anything at all."
This arrangement was so thoughtful that Jane's mother had nothing to say.
After the things were delivered home, Jian Yuelan went out again to find Tan Jun to get a certificate and took her parents to Ancheng.
At around 3:00 p.m., the family of three checked into the Ancheng Public Security Guesthouse.
Generally, this kind of internal guesthouse does not welcome outsiders, but Jian Yuelan's situation is different.
She had made great contributions in destroying the human trafficking gang, and because of her status as a military dependent, she was able to move in smoothly.
After settling her parents down, Jian Yuelan ran to the train station and bought tickets for her parents to go home the next morning.
We had dinner at a state-owned restaurant. We had planned to take our parents for a walk after dinner, but they were unlucky and encountered another "bustling scene" just a few minutes after leaving the restaurant.
Seeing those crazy people, Jane's mother turned pale and grabbed Jane Yuelan's hand, "Zhizhi, let's go back and stop shopping."
It's so scary.
"good."
Jian Yuelan patted her to comfort her, "Don't be afraid, Mom. We'll go back now."
After returning to his room at the guesthouse, Father Jian sighed, "What a world this is."
It's really fucked up.
"It will be fine."
Jian Yuelan understood what he meant and soothed him in a whisper, "This is a madness that is nearing its end."
Jane's father and mother looked at her in surprise.
Mother Jane wanted to ask, but was stopped by Jane Yuelan.
She said softly, "Don't ask. All you need to know is to go home and urge your elder brothers to review seriously."
It would have been fine if she hadn't said this, but once she did, Jane's mother lost all emotion.
I just have the urge to beat someone up.
She pinched Jian Yuelan's ear and whispered in her ear through gritted teeth, "You let your elder brother and the others review every day, but I never see you review at all."
After nearly three months on the island, her daughter hasn't even taken a pen and paper, let alone reviewed.
"You're not going to take the test?"
Jian Yuelan waved her hand, and it was obvious that she didn't want to take the exam.
Jane's mother couldn't do anything with her. She wanted to beat her but couldn't bring herself to do so, and she had to be careful that someone might be eavesdropping on her if she wanted to scold her.
"Old Jane, you go ahead." She was so angry.
Comrade Lao Jian was helpless, it was useless for him to go up.
Even ten oxen can’t pull his daughter back from her decision.
But looking at his wife's threatening eyes, he decided to struggle again.
"My daughter, is Xiaoye the same as you?"
Jian Yuelan shook her head. Father Jian said "oh" and asked her, "Aren't you afraid that the gap between you two will grow bigger and bigger and he will dislike you?"
"You know, men are very selfish at times. I think you should understand that."
Comrade Lao Jian was afraid that if he spoke too deeply, others would overhear and cause trouble, so his words were quite vague.
Jian Yuelan understood, and she gave her father a thumbs up, "Dad, you're good. Now you know how to win the heart."
"I always can."
Father Jane glared at her angrily, "Tell me what you think."
"No idea."
She was outspoken, and the more accurate statement would be that she had no idea about college.
Having already experienced campus life once, she lacks enthusiasm and yearning for college.
As for connections...
Stop joking, I have never heard of any intangible cultural heritage master making a living by relying on his connections.
In their line of work, skills are what matter, and connections are really not that important.
Father Jian was very anxious. "What about Xiaoye? You don't have any idea either."
Jian Yuelan was helpless, "Dad, if Ye Linxing is really like you said, then I don't want him."
"Are you that confident in him?"
Jane's mother couldn't help but respond. Jane Yuelan really wanted to say that it had nothing to do with belief or not, but this couldn't convince her parents.
