"Wife, how do you know about torpedoes?"
What does it mean?
This is suspicion of her.
But it doesn't matter, she has been prepared for it for a long time and is not at all worried about it.
"I heard about it from my fifth brother."
Fifth brother Jian Zhengan, Ye Linxing’s colleague, is now in the East China Sea.
Unlike Ye Linxing who transferred from the border army to the navy, her fifth brother went directly into the navy.
"Fifth Brother also told you this?"
Jian Yuelan smiled and said, "He didn't say anything, but he went home once in a while and was drunk by his elder brother and his friends. He lamented the difficulties of the navy."
At this point, she sighed pretentiously, "Actually, I don't know the word 'torpedo', but I know the English alphabet."
"Think about it, if a fisherman pulls a lump of iron from the sea and it happens to have English letters and Arabic numerals on it, what would be your first reaction?"
She threw the question to Ye Linxing. The man lowered his eyes and thought for a moment, then said seriously, "Something's wrong. There's something wrong with this iron lump."
"Of course."
Jian Yuelan smiled and said, "My reaction when I saw this thing was similar to yours, but because I delivered things to my seventh brother and his wife and visited their factory, I knew at first glance that this wasn't a product of our country."
Spreading her hands, she said innocently, "The fisherman just said he wanted to send the torpedo to the recycling station, so I thought, no matter if it's useful or not, I have to take it down first. If it's useful, that would be great, but if it's not, I won't lose much money."
"The facts prove that my decision was correct. The patrolmen recognized this thing as something special as soon as they arrived, and then Bai Ye and the others came. If I still don't know the importance of this thing, then my awareness is too low."
The question and answer became a perfect answer, and Ye Linxing's doubts were completely dispelled. He yawned, buried his face in her neck and muttered, "Wife, I'm so tired, please sleep with me."
Jian Yuelan was not happy about it, mainly because she had just woken up from a nap and was not sleepy at all.
"You go to sleep, I'm not sleepy now."
"Then stay with me, and do your own thing while I fall asleep."
"Can."
This wasn't a request that went against principles and couldn't be met, so Jian Yuelan readily agreed.
Ye Linxing was really exhausted. He fell into a deep sleep within two minutes of lying on the bed, snoring loudly.
Even when he was asleep, he still held her hand and interlocked their fingers.
She didn't leave in a hurry, but waited for a few minutes before pulling her hand out and sitting in front of the embroidery frame to embroider a family portrait.
While she was embroidering, it was time for dinner. She put away the embroidery thread and went to the kitchen to cook a sumptuous dinner. Her original intention was to nourish her man, but when she called him to eat after the dinner was done, he was sleeping so soundly that she couldn't wake him up at all.
Helplessly, she could only leave the food for him and wait for him to wake up before eating.
Bai Ye came over after dinner and saw her pulling weeds. He immediately took over her work and asked her if she had eaten. After getting the answer that she had eaten, he looked around and didn't see Ye Linxing. He asked again, "Isn't Old Ye at home? Why didn't he come to pull weeds and asked you to do it?"
Jian Yuelan pounded her waist and said, "He's still asleep. I can't wake him up even if I shout."
He uttered an "oh" and suggested seriously, "You can wait until he wakes up and let him pull it out."
"What's wrong with you pulling it out?"
Ye Linxing, who had almost woken up, heard his words before his mind was fully awake. He couldn't help but open the window and said, "You are not happy about pulling some weeds for my house. As an apology, you have to finish pulling them today."
Bai Ye, "..."
What the hell did I say to deserve such criticism from him?
"This is your vegetable garden, not mine."
Bai Ye retorted without a second thought, and Ye Linxing snorted, "You brought this upon yourself. I'm going to eat first, and then I'll come back to help you."
Bai Ye was easy to coax, and upon hearing this, he immediately urged, "Eat quickly, and then we'll eat together."
Then, Ye Linxing ran out with the dishes and chopsticks and ate while chatting with him.
Jian Yuelan figured out that Lao Bai came over to help pull weeds just for the sake of convenience, and his real purpose was to gossip.
Where did the gossip fishermen find it?
"It's off course."
Ye Linxing was also quite helpless when talking about this matter. "I don't know how the two fishing boats ended up in the archipelago."
Jian Yuelan didn't know the exact location of the archipelago, but Bai Ye knew it well. He was shocked when he heard his words. "Then they are really lucky to be alive."
The archipelago is far away from the island, and most importantly, there is no human habitation there. There are only deserted islands.
Moreover, the archipelago will be flooded during high tide at night, leaving only a small tip of the island, and sometimes even the small tip will be flooded.
This is also the reason why they gave up such a large archipelago as their base.
"We can only say they were lucky. They fished around the archipelago during the day and took turns climbing trees at night to keep watch on the tides. Luckily, they didn't encounter a high tide and managed to survive until we found them."
As an archipelago that is easily submerged by sea water, it is easy to imagine that fresh water resources are difficult to obtain.
"What did they drink during their time on the island?" Jian Yuelan asked curiously.
"Rely on coconuts and dew for water."
Ye Linxing put it succinctly, "When people are forced into a desperate situation, they will unleash a strong will to survive. Even without coconuts and dew, sea fish and seafood can keep them alive."
If that doesn't work, there's still urine.
A living person can't be suffocated to death by urine.
As long as there is no high tide that floods the entire island, these fishermen can survive even if the time is extended, let alone ten days or half a month.
He moved closer to Bai Ye and whispered, "Old Bai, I think it would be a shame to give up that island."
