Chapter 31 I'm Just Passing By

Zhao Hanyun spent a day of study in an extremely relaxed manner. She was thinking that it would be nice to relive her school life. Looking at the innocent classmates around her, she felt so happy as long as she could go home after school quickly. It was a simple sense of satisfaction, which was really good.

Li Li originally wanted to go home with Zhao Hanyun, but her mother came to pick her up and said they were going to a relative's house for dinner. Zhao Hanyun had to go home by herself. She was very happy to have Li Li accompany her home, but now it didn't matter if she went home alone. She secretly called the little ball out and held it in her hands. In order to avoid being seen, Zhao Hanyun deliberately took a small road. This road was not used by many people. Usually, only those from society liked to gather here. In her previous life, Zhao Hanyun would sometimes go home with others on this road. She was not particularly brave, but there was a rule there that those on the road were not allowed to mess with students, especially girls. Although she didn't know who made this rule, Zhao Hanyun really had never been harassed by these people.

The road was quite quiet today. Zhao Hanyun took the little ball for a stroll with peace of mind, and they would chat from time to time. Zhao Hanyun even felt that the journey home was much shorter.

"Xiao Yunyun, there are people fighting ahead, you wait a moment before going over." The little ball pointed to the intersection ahead and said. Zhao Hanyun stopped obediently. Her magic was not yet well-practiced, and her spiritual energy could not be gathered for too long outside the space, so she could not sense the surroundings everywhere like the little ball. Since the little ball said that it was not advisable to go forward, she would just wait.

"Xiao Yunyun, the crowd has dispersed, let's go quickly." The little ball reminded Zhao Hanyun.

Zhao Hanyun put the ball in his pocket, tugged at his backpack strap, took a deep breath, and slowly turned the corner. He didn't see the people the ball had mentioned, but he could tell there had been a fight. The messy traces clearly reminded him that this wasn't a quiet place to be today.

Squeezing his pocket, Zhao Hanyun quickened his pace. The last turning was just ahead and he would be able to get out soon.

"Sister! We know we were wrong, please forgive us this time! We will never dare to do it again next time!" Zhao Hanyun, who was about to go out, heard the voice when she turned the corner. Her heart suddenly turned cold. Something had happened today. She hoped it was not too late for her to turn around.

"Get out! You guys have ruined my mood today!" A voice came, and Zhao Hanyun, who was sneaking back, was petrified. What a coincidence, she just met the owner of this voice today. She lowered her head, covered her face, and did it all in one breath.

"Stop!" The voice's owner yelled two more words, startling the hooligans who hadn't had time to leave. What was this woman trying to do? "I didn't say anything to you, get out of here!"

Zhao Hanyun heard clearly that this "stop" was not for those thugs, so he should be the one standing still. He stood still obediently, but he did not take his hands away from his face. "I'm just passing by! I want to go home!" He tried to make his voice sound a little tearful. The roots of Zhao Hanyun's hair were pulled so hard that it hurt. He hit her too hard and it hurt!

"Am I that scary?" A somewhat dissatisfied voice slowly approached Zhao Hanyun and stopped in front of him. "Don't be afraid, those people have already left. Classmate, please avoid walking on this road in the future. It's not very safe!"

Could she say she wasn't afraid of those people, but the person standing in front of her? The answer was no, of course not. But since they hadn't recognized her yet, she should find a chance to slip away. Zhao Hanyun nodded obediently and asked tremblingly, "Can I leave? I want to go home?"

"Hurry up and be careful next time!" The person who came probably knew that the girl was scared, so he considerately made way. Zhao Hanyun looked at the road through the gaps between her fingers, bowed to the person hurriedly to express her gratitude, and then rushed out without looking back.

"This girl is so funny! I wonder which class she is from?" Yuan Jingyi, who had been watching Zhao Hanyun's disappearing back, smiled silently. Her mood, which had been ruined by those people today, inexplicably felt better. It was all because of that strange girl.

Zhao Hanyun didn't dare put her hands down until she was out of the alley. She didn't dare look back. She let Xiao Yuanqiu make sure that no one was following her before she felt relieved. She would change her schoolbag tomorrow to avoid being discovered. She didn't expect that the head teacher she just met today would have such a hot temper. It's true that you can't judge a person by his appearance!

Forget it, I don't want to think about it anymore. Zhao Hanyun doesn't want to leave here anymore, so she goes home.
