On the second day of school, Zhao Hanyun found an excuse to leave the doll's backpack at home. Then, nervously, he attended classes all day, but didn't notice anything unusual. The same thing continued on the third and fourth days. Now, almost half a month had passed, and Zhao Hanyun suddenly wondered if his nerves were too tense. It should be fine now, so he shouldn't scare himself.
"Zhao Hanyun, can you please help me hand this homework over to Teacher Yuan? I have a stomachache." Chen Xueming, the monitor sitting in front of Zhao Hanyun, said while holding his stomach. Zhao Hanyun looked at his face and nodded helplessly in agreement. Although she was sure she was fine now, it didn't mean she wanted to get close to the teacher! Forget it, since this person lent her the money to copy homework in her previous life, she would help him make the trip.
"Teacher Yuan, the class monitor has a stomachache, I'm here to hand in his homework." Zhao Hanyun came to Yuan Jingyi's office with a stack of homework. There were seats for six teachers in the office. It was now get out of class time and all the teachers were there.
"Okay, thank you!" Yuan Jingyi thanked Zhao Hanyun very gently. Zhao Hanyun didn't think much about it. She put the homework on Yuan Jingyi's desk and said goodbye and left. However, she didn't notice Yuan Jingyi looking at her back with a thoughtful look on her face.
In the following days, Zhao Hanyun never approached Yuan Jingyi's office again, and she listened to the lectures attentively during class. As a result, her deskmate Li Li also started to attend classes seriously and her grades improved a lot. Li Li's mother happily rewarded her with several pieces of the long-awaited chocolate. Except for giving one piece to Zhao Hanyun, Li Li didn't give any to anyone else. She usually couldn't bear to eat them, so she brought a piece to see every day. When the chocolate melted, she couldn't bear it anymore and slowly put it in her mouth.
"I have reviewed your homework this time. Most of you have mastered it well. The teacher would like to specially praise an individual student. Her homework is not even for this grade, but it has exceeded the scope of what you have learned now. This proves that she has prepared well at home during the holidays." In class, Yuan Jingyi entered the classroom holding the stack of homework that Zhao Hanyun had handed in for the class monitor last time, and began the routine of praising role models that every teacher would do. Zhao Hanyun was daydreaming. She could not be such a good student, especially since she did not want to have anything to do with her gentle head teacher.
"Now let Zhao Hanyun tell us about her study plan, and let everyone learn from her." However, Yuan Jingyi seemed not to hear Zhao Hanyun's thoughts. She directly picked up Zhao Hanyun's homework book to demonstrate, and by the way, she pulled Zhao Hanyun back from her daydreaming state to explain her study experience to her classmates.
Could Zhao Hanyun claim she'd taken advantage of a past life? Could she claim she'd spent her entire summer in the fields or at the market stalls? Could she claim she had no plans at all? Looking at the group of enthusiastic, admiring elementary school students surrounding her, Zhao Hanyun sighed and made up something.
After this nonsense, Zhao Hanyun was greeted with loud applause. For the first time, he felt that he could be so popular. After everyone discussed it, Yuan Jingyi spoke up, "Then the teacher has a suggestion. I want to make Zhao Hanyun the study committee member of our class. Is that okay? The previous study committee member will be promoted to deputy monitor."
The prestigious position of Study Committee member was thus transferred to Zhao Hanyun. The classmates unanimously agreed, and the teacher was very pleased! As for Zhao Hanyun's opinion, the minority should obey the majority!
"Classmate Zhao Hanyun, come to my office after school. I have an essay competition I'd like you to participate in."
