Chapter 500 Secret Six

"Who are you?" An Ran looked at the mother and child in disbelief behind her glasses. She couldn't help but want to go forward to take a closer look. "Is it you?"

"An Ran?" She called out softly, tears welling up in her eyes. She pulled her son over and said, "An Xin, come quickly. This is your dad."

"Mom, are you sure this is my dad?" An Xin, who had always been called a brat by Zhao Hanyun, looked at the man who looked a bit like him and asked, "Didn't my dad say he died a long time ago?"

"What nonsense are you talking about!" He was so angry that he wanted to beat his son, but he was hugged tightly in his arms, and then the voice and warmth that he had missed for a long time filled his body.

"Qingran, I finally found you." An Ran held the woman in his arms, as if he had a rare treasure in his hands. He treasured it very much. He glanced at An Xin, who had walked away a little bit scared by Qing Ran: "Come, my child."

"I have a feeling we're going to hear a rather melodramatic story later." Zhao Hanyun leaned into Zou Li's arms and said, "You little brat, if you look at me again I'll kick you over. Your mom said this is your real dad, so just recognize him properly. Why are you being so awkward? Even though you're a little young, you're still a man of character and a bit responsible."

"You just know how to make fun of me." Knowing that Zhao Hanyun was telling the truth, An Xin obediently rubbed against the man who was still holding his mother and hadn't let go: "Are you really my dad?"

"Okay, okay, you're my dad." Receiving the look from his mother, An Xin wisely called out, "Dad."

"Ah." An Xin agreed tremblingly. He felt his eyes, which had seen life and death over the years, sore. Tears flowed uncontrollably, and he turned his face away in an instant to wipe them away: "Good son."

"Who are you? The Dark Emperor?" Zou Li pulled a chair over and brushed off the invisible dust on it. He took out a piece of cloth from his pocket and placed it on the chair. Only then did he sit down with Zhao Hanyun with peace of mind. "To make a long story short, we're waiting."

"Let me do it, let me do it." An Xin joined in. He had heard this love story of his mom and dad since he was a child. It was absolutely wonderful when he told it, and there could be different versions of it.

By the time Zhao Hanyun fell asleep in Zou Li's arms and Zou Li finished reading both books, An Xin, who had been holding back for a long time, finally finished telling all the versions. An Ran and Qing Ran over there also finished reminiscing about the past.

"God?" An Xin, with the child's mother he had finally found, came to Zhao Hanyun. Seeing the girl sleeping soundly, he was a little afraid to disturb her. He looked up and met Zou Li's eyes. He took a big step back and asked, "What can I do for you?"

"How dare you, the Dark Clan, harm humans?" Zou Li said coldly, looking at An Ran, "You should know this."

"God, this matter has absolutely nothing to do with me." Qing Ran nodded from behind. Didn't she know what kind of person her man was? It must be the name those guys used. If they appeared in front of her now, she would tear them apart.

"I know it wasn't you, otherwise you would have vanished into thin air long ago." Zhao Hanyun said with his eyes closed, "But, after all, this is caused by one of your people, don't you think? By the way, what was your original name?"

"Dark Emperor." After pondering for a moment, he finally figured out what the little girl in front of him wanted to know. Isn't it just a name? It has not been used for a long time anyway. His surname is An and his given name is Ran, Ran as in Qingran and An as in Anxin.

"What's the special meaning?" Does the word "emperor" mean that he is the emperor of the Dark Clan, or does he have some other status?

"I was chosen by the Dark Clan." An Ran was disdainful. Why should his fate be tied to those selfish clan members? All he wanted was to grow old with the one he loved and have a dozen children to take care of him.

"Outlier." Zou Li, who summed it up in two classic words, helped the beauty in his arms sit up before asking, "What's going on with that woman in the ward?"

"It was Shadow's doing," An Ran said. "Shadow approached me last time and said he needed my help with something important. I missed them and my son, and was afraid I'd get into trouble and never see them again, so I declined. But I'm not the only Dark Clan doctor in this hospital, so I followed Shadow." He stood up and pulled out a USB drive from his desk drawer. "It contains a video recording of what they did. If the God can find it useful, I can give it to you."

"How did you survive?" This was the second question. The brat could eat human food and even had a habit of leaning towards humans. Qing Ran had changed even more dramatically. Not to mention that the obscure aura that he had managed to use over the years to make himself so that the dark tribe could not distinguish his human identity had completely disappeared. The more obvious change was that Qing Ran, who had originally looked pretty good, had become even more radiant after being raised in the space for a few days. That was why An Ran was a little hesitant to recognize Qing Ran when she saw him for the first time.

"The gloomy atmosphere in the hospital is more abundant than that in the grave. I won't absorb too much of it here. If I eat it together with human food, I can still barely survive." He said it easily, but only An Ran knew the hardships involved. He didn't say it because it was his own business.

"How come you didn't starve to death?" Zhao Hanyun looked at the man whose complexion and expression didn't look very healthy. Her family was still more beautiful. "You haven't gone back to look for them for so many years. Could it be that your strength is not enough to sustain you to find the door?"

"How did the God know?" He looked at Zhao Hanyun with admiration, and comforted the mother of the child in his arms.

"I guessed it." Playing with the USB flash drive he had just obtained, Zhao Hanyun took out his laptop and plugged it in. He felt a little sarcastic when he saw the figure appearing inside. Was this the only reason?

"How did Shadow know so many secrets?" This matter involved so many people. Zou Li didn't want to cause any more trouble, and Zhao Hanyun didn't want his family exposed. They made a decision immediately: "We'll handle this. As for you, I'll give you an hour. If you don't show up outside by then, you'll never see your wife and son again."

"Sure enough, you two just like to torture prisoners." An Xin muttered to Zhao Hanyun in annoyance. He was finally free, but now he fell into Zhao Hanyun's hands again. He was unhappy!
