Chapter 72 Competition List

Soon it was the day when Zhao Hanyun and his classmates would participate in the school competition. The exam was held in a large conference room. There were only about twenty people in the huge classroom, which seemed very empty. In order to ensure the decisiveness of the exam, everyone sat very far away, with at least two tables between each person.

"What? Auntie, you're just being nervous!" Looking at the test paper in front of her, Zhao Hanyun couldn't help but want to complain. She was forced to read so many books and do so many test papers, but in the end, the school only came up with a test of this level. It was a waste of her efforts.

"Student, please answer the questions carefully." Seeing that Zhao Hanyun was spinning a pencil around not long after finishing the test, an invigilator came over and reminded him.

"I have finished answering! Teacher, can I hand in the paper early?" Zhao Hanyun asked, pointing to the full test paper she had answered. She had nothing to do but couldn't just lie down on the table and sleep like Zou Li, which was too inconsistent with her image. She had just turned the pencil for a while when the invigilator came. I wonder if the teacher would keep staring at her.

Zhao Hanyun was right. The invigilator was from another school. She'd heard there were two second-year students among the students, so she'd been keeping an eye on them since she came in, trying to figure out who the geniuses were. But soon after the exam, the little boy fell asleep on the table, and the girl started playing with a pencil. Could these two be just making up the numbers? So, she found an excuse to approach Zhao Hanyun, wanting to observe them more closely.

"Finished!" Looking at the test paper in front of him and then at Zhao Hanyun's innocent eyes, the invigilator turned the test paper over suspiciously. Seeing that the back part had been filled in, he looked at the time in surprise. It had only been less than twenty minutes and he had finished it?

"Teacher, do you have any questions?" Zhao Hanyun asked, trying not to laugh as he saw the invigilator staring at his test paper.

"It's okay! Just stay here when you're done. You can hand in the paper half an hour in advance, so just take a look at the test paper!" The invigilator looked through the test paper from the beginning and saw full marks. He put it down awkwardly and turned to Zou Li.

As a result, under Zou Li's calm gaze, the invigilator was shocked again. The second-year students nowadays are so good, so those she usually teaches are too inferior. No, she must train them well when she goes back and cannot fall behind others.

"Okay, students who want to hand in their papers early can do so now. Please be gentle and don't disturb other students." After half an hour, the invigilator responsibly reminded the two children who were resting on the side to hand in their papers quickly!

"How is it?" After leaving the meeting room, Yuan Jingyi was waiting outside. Seeing Zhao Hanyun and the others coming out, she asked with concern.

"Aunt, I haven't used the range you gave me!" Zhao Hanyun said distressedly.

"How could that be! Is it because you didn't do enough exercises?" Yuan Jingyi looked at Zhao Hanyun suspiciously, thinking of the pile of test papers she had thrown away.

"I mean, you gave us too many areas, and we passed the test without even using them." He smiled mischievously, pulled Zou Li and ran out: "I don't want to do any more questions in the future!"

"You guys!" Yuan Jingyi looked at Zhao Hanyun and the others as they walked away and shook her head, "You're getting more and more cheeky!"

A few days later, Yuan Jingyi called Zhao Hanyun and Zou Li to the principal's office and said that the list had been finalized and would be announced together.

In the principal's office, Zhao Hanyun looked at the middle-aged man in front of him who was talking happily. It was the first time in his life that he had such close contact with the principal. It was strange that he was not excited.

"Now I will announce the list of people who will represent our school in the city-wide competition." After saying a lot of inspiring words, he finally got to the point.

"Cao Lei from Class 6, Grade 1, Zhong Lijuan from Class 6, Grade 3, Shan Hongwei from Class 5, Grade 1, Zou Li from Class 2, Grade 2, and Zhao Hanyun from Class 2, Grade 2. I especially want to commend Zou Li and Zhao Hanyun. They are younger than you all, but their efforts are so gratifying! Of course, the students who didn't get in aren't bad, it's just that we have limited places. You are the future of this school and the future of our country. Thank you in advance!"

The speech inspired the group of children so much that the clapping lasted for a long time.
