Early the next morning.
Luo Li is on the plane, preparing to fly back to the base to continue filming.
"Ding-dong."
Just after boarding the plane, a message was sent to his mobile phone via text message.
Luo Li frowned slightly after checking the information and went to Weibo.
With her eyes wide open and mouth slightly agape, Luo Li was filled with surprise.
"The Li family has actually declared bankruptcy!"
The assistant next to him said, "How could that be? Brother Luo must be joking."
"It's true."
How could it be so fast in just one night?
Who could possibly have such a grand gesture?
The most outrageous thing is that the Li family's logistics chain was actually acquired!
Luo Li continued reading, and suddenly her expression changed slightly.
The logistics chain was actually acquired by YouTao, the largest online shopping platform in China.
Others may not know, but Luo Li does.
YouTao is their own company!
The eldest brother controls this industry chain.
Luo Li understood everything.
"Damn, who is so powerful? Why are they targeting the Li family? Things involving the wealthy are terrifying." The assistant complained from the side, while also packing up Luo Li's luggage.
Flying in first class with Brother Luo was so awesome!
Before the plane took off, Luo Li made an international call to Luo Chen.
Luo Chen, who was working, glanced at the caller ID and curled his lips into a smile.
Luo Chen was a little happy to receive a call from his younger brother, the first time he had ever taken the initiative to do so.
But he quickly pursed his lips and suppressed his smile.
"You actually know to unblock me?"
As soon as Luo Li heard Luo Chen's voice, she wanted to hang up the phone.
The acquisition is definitely not because of Xiaoyouzi, but because of its commercial value.
Why did you have to make the call?
Luo Li was somewhat annoyed.
But since the fight had already begun, Luo Li still asked, "Did you take down the Li family and then acquire them?"
"Yes, the Li family has fallen, so we can take over this logistics chain directly." Luo Chen said casually, concealing his true thoughts.
Luo Li: "It's not worth it. Are you doing this for..."
"for what?"
The cold voice brought Luo Li back to her senses.
"nothing."
After a long pause, Luo Li finally managed to squeeze out a dry sentence: "Are you... alright?"
"Um."
"What about them?"
Luo Li didn't say it explicitly, but Luo Chen knew that he was asking about his other brothers.
"Oh."
Luo Chen said coldly, "Why should we care about them?"
"I was just asking."
Luo Li paused, her tone somewhat heavy: "Where's Mom?"
"mom?"
Luo Chen paused for a moment.
Luo Li became very anxious: "Has something happened to Mom?"
"Why are you in such a hurry? Mom is still the same as always."
I have severe depression and have had several recent episodes of suicidal thoughts.
The situation is actually quite serious.
But these are not things the younger brothers should worry about.
Luo Li remained silent for a long time before awkwardly asking, "Are you coming back for the Spring Festival this year?"
"Go back for what?"
They haven't been back to their home country for many years.
And Dad can't move either.
We've consulted every doctor we could, but to no avail.
Luo Li thought of Xiao Youzi, but her older brother refused to acknowledge Xiao Youzi, so she could only say, "It's nothing."
"If you want to see your parents, come out and see them." Both of them are people who have difficulty moving around.
Luo Li: "Going abroad is fine too, we'll see when the time comes."
Little Yuzu must really want to go abroad to see her mother!
Upon hearing this, Luo Chen knew that Luo Li still hadn't listened to him.
He asked with a somewhat gloomy expression, "Did you send that little thing away?"
"Brother, my plane is about to take off, bye-bye."
After saying that, Luo Li hung up the phone.
He had absolutely no desire to discuss Xiaoyouzi's matter with Luo Chen.
Luo Chen looked at the phone after it was hung up and shook his head helplessly: "You brat! You have no conscience."
Tossing his phone aside, Luo Chen looked down at the documents.
"Knock knock knock".
There was a knock on the door, and Luo Chen said coldly, "Come in."
"Boss."
A burly man wearing sunglasses walked in: "The people you asked me to prepare are ready."
This is the captain of Luo Chen's private bodyguard team. He is a retired Delta Force soldier who now works as a mercenary.
"Tell them to stay hidden and follow her."
"yes."
Waving his hand, Luo Chen lowered his head to continue organizing the documents.
But they found that the bodyguard hadn't left.
Luo Chen looked up, leaning back in his office chair, his face, which bore a resemblance to Luo Li's, carrying a cold expression: "Dika, what is it?"
"This is some of the information that came from over there."
Luo Chen glanced at it, his brows furrowing slightly: "Of course, what did that nanny leave behind after her suicide?"
"Only the burial site was left, but the remains were indeed found. The age matched; it was a six-month-old girl."
Unfortunately, the bones were burned to ashes because of excessive pain and DNA testing was not performed.
Cremated remains cannot be tested for DNA.
Luo Chen's expression changed: "So, my sister might still be alive?"
But he didn't dare gamble on that possibility.
"Yes, but we can't rule out the possibility that the other party deliberately deceived Fifth Young Master."
The bodyguard captain's voice was rough and hoarse: "I still suggest you just get a DNA test done."
"I'll consider it."
If she really is Little Yuzu...
How wonderful that would be.
"You can leave now."
After the bodyguard closed the door, Luo Chen suddenly buried his face in his large hands and sighed heavily.
The whole family is falling apart; I'm so exhausted.
