Trust Xiaoyouzi, no problem.
Wen Tian sat down, paused in writing her short article, and looked at Xiao Youzi.
She and Mu Siyu were laughing very happily.
They arrived without even saying hello.
Looking down at the note in her hand, Wen Tian tore it off, crumpled it up, and threw it into the trash can next to her.
Little Yuzu sensed something, glanced at Wen Tian, and said nothing.
Seeing this, Mu Siyu leaned close to Xiaoyouzi's ear and whispered, "Xiaoyouzi, I think Wen Tian has been acting strange lately."
"Um?"
Pulling Xiaoyouzi to sit down at the far end, Mu Siyu whispered, "I noticed red and purple spots on her wrists, but she won't say anything."
"Yeah?"
Could it be that Tian Tian was a victim of domestic violence?
That's impossible.
"I usually see Sweetie's mom taking her to school, and nothing seems out of the ordinary," said Little Yuzu, who wasn't very familiar with the situation either.
Mu Siyu thought for a moment and said, "There's a rumor at school that you don't know about?"
"What rumor?"
Little Yuzi stared longingly at Mu Siyu.
Mu Siyu leaned closer and whispered, "It seems that Tian Tian has an older sister who is being bullied at school."
"That person's family is better off than Tian Tian's, and they kept putting pressure on her, which eventually forced Tian Tian to transfer schools. I heard that she's still mentally unstable."
Little Yuzu frowned: "Where did you hear this rumor from?"
"It's not a rumor!"
Mu Siyu said confidently, "It's true, Tian Tian is very likely being bullied."
"knew."
Xiao Youzi glanced at Wen Tian and then looked away: "No one is bullying her now. Let's see what she does after school on Monday."
"good."
What are you talking about?
Wen Shuqin's cold voice came through.
From his perspective, Mu Siyu was practically glued to Xiaoyouzi.
It's an eyesore.
Little Yuzu looked at him and smiled: "We're whispering, does Brother Shuqin want to hear too?"
"I don't want to."
Wen Shuqin asked in a nonchalant tone, "Did you watch my match just now?"
It was only then that Xiaoyouzi noticed that Wen Shuqin was wearing a short-sleeved and short-short class uniform, his breathing was a little unsteady, and his forehead was covered in sweat.
A classmate draped a coat over him.
Little Yuzu smiled awkwardly.
I was so busy gossiping with Siyu that I forgot to watch Brother Shuqin's competition.
Mu Siyu looked left and right but wouldn't look at Wen Shuqin.
"You didn't watch my match."
Wen Shuqin's tone sounded somewhat dangerous, so Mu Siyu immediately found an excuse: "Anyway, it's just the preliminary round. We're waiting to watch the finals. We'll cheer you on, okay?"
"Oh? So you didn't watch it?"
If Little Pomelo can't find an answer.
She glanced at her watch and immediately stood up: "It's time, I should probably report for duty soon."
Just then, an announcement came over the loudspeaker: "Please participate in the women's 100-meter race..."
"Siyu, let's go." Xiaoyouzi breathed a sigh of relief and quickly fled with Mu Siyu.
Wen Shuqin sighed and said nothing.
Just then, the class monitor ran back: "Brother Wen! You've made it to the finals with first place! There's still the 200-meter preliminary round later, at 9:30."
"Um."
The 100-meter and 200-meter races are all preliminary rounds in the morning, and the finals are in the afternoon.
Nine o'clock sharp.
Accompanied by Mu Siyu, Xiaoyouzi went to the registration desk.
There were already many people at the registration desk.
The teacher, holding a megaphone, announced, "First, the first and second graders, come and report for duty."
"Little Pomelo, let's go."
Before long, the teacher checked off their names and gave Xiaoyouzi and the others their running numbers, which were then pinned to their chests and backs.
"Everyone, follow me. Let's run over there and gather."
A small group of people followed along, and Mu Siyu stayed by Xiaoyouzi's side the whole time: "Xiaoyouzi, what did you participate in?"
"One or two hundred meters, relay race."
There were too few girls in the class who ran, so Xiaoyouzi took on all the running tasks.
Anyway, it's not much.
The teacher, holding a megaphone, shouted, "First group of girls in the 100 meters, come forward! I'll call out their names."
"First track... Sixth track, Luo Youyou."
After reading the instructions, the teacher looked at everyone and said, "Everyone, when you hear the starting gun, run. Don't rush off, understand?"
"Okay!"
This group of five are all in second grade, except for Xiaoyouzi, who is in first grade.
The PE teacher walked over with the starting pistol and said, "Little Yuzu, go for it! I'm rooting for you!"
"Okay!"
Little Yuzu smiled and cheered herself up.
"Go, Little Pomelo!" Mu Siyu shouted, her face beaming with smiles.
A little girl next to her glanced at Xiaoyouzi and asked, "Are you Luo Youyou from the first grade?"
Yes, that's right.
"I will defeat you."
The girl calmly said something.
Little Yuzu blinked innocently, and seeing that the girl stopped talking, she said, "Then good luck!"
The girl clenched her fists and glared at Xiaoyouzi.
It was already past nine o'clock, and the sun was rising rapidly, hanging high in the sky.
Standing on the track, Xiaoyouzi raised her hand to shield her eyes from the direct sunlight and squinted as she looked into the distance.
The PE teacher, holding a megaphone, shouted, "Everyone, do some warm-up exercises!"
"Hey you, little pomelo, move around a bit, what if you get a cramp!"
Looking at the PE teacher, Xiaoyouzi said with a grin, "Okay!"
She kicked a few high kicks, loosened her wrists and ankles, and looked quite relaxed.
