"Shut up."
Luo Chen's voice was cold and piercing, and the little girl trembled in fright.
She lowered her head, looking pitiful.
After finishing the last bite of his breakfast, Luo Chen glanced at the timid girl and scoffed, "Heh, what are you doing here instead of going to the sanatorium?"
"Big brother, my aunt isn't feeling well, so she kicked me out," the girl whispered as Luo Chen spoke to her.
Luo Chen glanced at her: "Can't you think of a way?"
"But……"
The girl looked up and glanced timidly at Luo Chen.
Luo Chen remained unmoved: "When your mother went to great lengths to send you here, she said you were quite smart."
Luo Chen didn't say anything more.
But the girl already understood.
"I see."
The girl lowered her head and after a long while said, "I'll go to my aunt's right away."
She didn't leave immediately after she finished speaking, and Luo Chen said impatiently, "What are you still standing here for?"
She pursed her lips, as if gathering her courage, and asked, "Big brother, I want to ask, who was the person on the other end of the phone just now?"
If she remembered correctly, the Luo family no longer had a younger sister.
She was the only girl in both the Wen and Luo families.
Luo Chen looked at her coldly: "This is none of your business. Just do your own thing."
“But…” the girl looked aggrieved.
Luo Chen scoffed, "But what? Don't forget why you're here."
She's just a pawn the Wen family planted; we can't let her ambitions grow too big.
"Okay, okay, brother." (Reading a book)
She was brought to the Luo family when she was two years old and grew up there. However, her older brothers in the Luo family would rather run away than see her, and none of them liked her.
The more she thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Luo Chen was annoyed by what he saw, and shouted, "Someone, take Miss Wen away, don't get in my way."
"Yes, boss."
Dika appeared out of nowhere and saw the girl with tears in her eyes. Dika didn't soften at all: Miss Wen has enjoyed so many years in place of the young lady, she should be content.
"Big brother~ do you hate me that much?" As Dika pulled her, tears immediately streamed down the girl's face, making her look like a pear blossom in the rain.
However, Luo Chen remained unmoved, his expression one of disgust: "I hate you, I even loathe you, can't you feel that?"
He had told the girl to understand her place in the world long before she was old enough to understand.
"But I didn't do anything wrong." The girl looked at Luo Chen innocently, tears still glistening in her eyes.
Luo Chen said coldly, "Your very existence is your biggest mistake."
My mother was clearly getting better, but she was upset when my aunt showed up with her daughter.
That so-called aunt was gossiping in my mother's ear, which caused my mother to faint.
When I woke up, I mistook her for Little Yuzu.
Later, the aunt legitimately placed her daughter into the Luo family and demanded a large sum of money every month.
The girl called out again, "Brother!"
"Don't call me brother, get lost."
Out of sight, out of mind, Luo Chen got up and prepared to leave.
The girl, who had been looking down, changed her expression and then looked up at him: "Big brother, Little Yuzu is dead."
Luo Chen's expression changed instantly, turning gloomy.
The girl, seemingly oblivious, continued, "My aunt will be sad without me, so you can't send me away."
"Say it again?"
Luo Chen strode up to the girl, grabbed her chin, and said fiercely, "Who told you these things? How can you be sure Xiaoyouzi is dead?"
The girl felt guilty for a moment and didn't say anything.
Luo Chen released his grip: "Did your utterly despicable parents tell you this? Or was the whole Xiaoyouzi incident orchestrated by your family?"
Now, the girl's face also turned very pale.
The thought of having parents like that made her feel resentful.
Her mother and the matriarch of the Luo family were not biological sisters, but distant relatives. Her mother referred to herself as the older sister of the younger aunt.
“This has nothing to do with my family,” the girl immediately explained.
After meeting Luo Chen's gaze, the girl dared not say anything more.
Luo Chen scoffed, "Get lost, don't get in my way."
The girl lowered her head and followed Dika away, softly saying as she left, "Brother, I'm leaving."
Luo Chen stared at the girl's back, narrowed his eyes, and his gaze held a sinister light.
If his mother weren't in a bad mental state and couldn't be separated from this person, he wouldn't have let the girl come.
Their relationship is clearly financial.
Fortunately, Little Yuzu was found.
Once Mom's condition improves during the Lunar New Year, I'll go straight back to China to see Xiaoyouzi.
Maybe Mom's situation is better.
"Oh."
Luo Chen scoffed and got into the car.
Back at the company.
As soon as Luo Chen stepped out of the elevator, his assistant, who had been waiting for a long time, immediately ran over and said, "Mr. Luo, Miss Wen's mother called and said that she wants her son to work for our company in China."
"Ignore her."
Luo Chen said nonchalantly.
The assistant added, "She said that if we don't arrange work for Young Master Wen, she'll go around the company building spreading rumors that she's related to you."
"Ha, shameless scoundrel."
"Also, Miss Wen's mother said that if you don't make arrangements, she will take Miss Wen back, and if you don't, she will call the police." The assistant looked down on this Mrs. Wen, thinking she wasn't even worthy of being a relative of the lady of the house.
Not only was she sarcastic and mean, but if she hadn't done it on purpose, the lady wouldn't have suffered like this.
Luo Chen scoffed: "If they keep making trouble, just call the police. We don't need to give them any face."
