The banquet was completely silent.
Hundreds of guests cast surprised glances at Bai Ningyi.
Most of them are wealthy and have impressive backgrounds; their favorite pastime is gossip.
The wealthy wives, in particular, were all looking at Bai Ningyi and Xiaoyouzi with curiosity.
Bai Ningyi held the little pomelo, her expression unchanged.
Some people, seeing that Bai Ningyi didn't speak, boldly looked at Xiaoyouzi.
It could be friendly, doubtful, or malicious.
Someone muttered quietly, "This...this doesn't seem like Bai Ning's translation at all."
Although Bai Ningyi is very good-looking, and Xiaoyouzi is stunningly beautiful at such a young age, the two are completely unrelated.
The little pomelo was being stared at like a little monkey, which made it quite uncomfortable.
She sniffed and whispered to Bai Ningyi in a coquettish tone, "Master~ I'm not happy with how they're looking at me."
"Master understands."
Bai Ningyi said in a low voice, then glanced at them coldly: "What is it?"
Those being stared at with cold eyes dared not meet Bai Ningyi's gaze.
This person may appear gentle, but his methods are no gentler than Bai Li's!
No one dares to offend them!
"No, it's nothing."

"I've never seen such a well-behaved little girl."
Little Yuzu now understands how these people treat others differently based on their status.
Everyone chuckled and tried to brush it off, pretending they hadn't seen anything.
Seeing this, some members of the Bai family began to guide the guests and divert their attention.
But quite a few people were still looking in this direction.
Just as everyone was secretly wondering what was going on, Bai Yu, the second young master of the Bai family, suddenly ran out and shouted, "Little Yuzi!"
Today, Bai Yu accompanied her cousin Bai Li as they walked around the banquet, greeting distinguished guests.
I just received an important guest and escorted them to the lounge on the second floor.
I didn't notice the situation here for a moment.
When the two came down, they found the banquet hall unusually quiet, and realized something was wrong, so they rushed over.
Bai Yu ran fast and spotted the little pomelo in her uncle's arms at a glance.
My uncle usually hates being touched, so he was terrified and shouted loudly.
Bai Ningyi clicked her tongue lightly: "You and Ayu know each other in the industry?"
"No, we met at the amusement park," Xiaoyouzi said with a smile. "Brother Baiyu is a bit silly."
Bai Ningyi curled her lips: "This nephew isn't very bright."
Fortunately, he's a nice person.
Seeing that Bai Yu was almost there, Xiao Youzi whispered, "Master, put me down."
"Um."
Bai Ningyi didn't dwell on it too much, and carefully put the small pomelo down.
Little Yuzi excitedly rushed towards Bai Yu, "Brother Bai Yu! I'm here!"
Bai Yu immediately squatted down and opened her arms.
Little Yu jumped straight into Bai Yu's arms.
Staggering slightly, Bai Yu steadied herself and picked up Xiao Youzi, saying, "Xiao Youzi has lost some weight!"
Of course!
Bai Li, who was standing to the side, gave a wink, and immediately the host arranged for food to be served.
After assigning the tasks, Bai Li turned to Xiao Youzi and asked in a low voice, "Xiao Youzi, why are you the only one who came today? Where is your brother?"
How can we leave Xiaoyouzi here alone!
Little Yuzu is so cute, she could easily be kidnapped!
Shaking her head, Xiaoyouzi said, "Big brother and fifth brother went to move things, and I don't know why they haven't come back for so long."
As she spoke, Little Yuzu pouted, clearly feeling a little upset.
Bai Li frowned. "They just abandoned you and left?"
"It's just moving things," Little Yuzu said, completely unconcerned.
After all, this is just a form of training for myself.
Bai Li wanted to ask more questions, but stopped himself as soon as he opened his mouth.
Seeing Bai Ningyi approach, Bai Li immediately nodded and called out, "Uncle."
"Uncle!" Bai Yu called out from the side.
"Um!"
Bai Ningyi glanced at his two nephews, but didn't ask any questions. He simply snatched the fragrant and soft little pomelo back from Bai Yu's hands and hugged it.
He lifted his eyelids slightly and said casually, "Take a seat."
He can sit anywhere, anyway.
Sitting at the head table is ultimately too much trouble, as it involves dealing with too many guests.
Bai Li and Bai Yu exchanged a glance and walked towards the main table.
"What happened over there?"
The old lady of the Bai family is old and can't see very far, but she can still hear sounds.
She looked over at Xiaoyouzi and asked curiously, "I think I saw Xiaoyi. Is Xiaoyi back?"
They all say that her little translator is sick.
She hadn't seen Xiaoyi for a long time either.
"Yes, Mom."
Bai Ningyi's father, Bai Ye, glared at him, then smiled at the old lady Bai and said, "That brat is back, carrying a little girl in his arms. I wonder whose child she is."
Anyway, it can't possibly belong to him, no matter whose it is.
He knew his son had been widowed for so many years and had a very bad temper.

Grandma Bai craned her neck and strained to look over: "Have Xiao Yi bring it over to take a look."

Just as Bai Ningyi sat down with Xiaoyouzi, Bai Yu rushed over and said, "Uncle, Great-Grandma wants you to take Xiaoyouzi over."
