Chapter 268 Little Yuzu Cries from Feeling Wronged

Before we knew it, it was the fifteenth day of the first lunar month.

Today is the Lantern Festival, and tomorrow is Monday, the first day of school.

Little Yuzu woke up early again today, and after exercising, she went back to sleep for a while.

When she woke up again, the house was empty once more.

After going downstairs, Xiaoyouzi asked excitedly, "Happy Lantern Festival, Grandpa Butler!"

Happy Lantern Festival, Miss Pomelo.

Little Yuzu asked with a smile, "Grandpa Butler, today is the Lantern Festival. Should we make dumplings or eat glutinous rice balls?"

"What does Miss Yuzu prefer?" The butler didn't make a decision, but instead threw the question back to Yuzu.

He could tell that the little grapefruits were interested.

Sure enough, Little Pomelo said, "I think we should all have a little! Let's cater to both northern and southern customs!"

"Okay, whatever you say. I'll go prepare the ingredients for making dumplings first. As for the glutinous rice balls, should we buy them ready-made?" the housekeeper asked patiently.

Little Yuzu asked, puzzled, "Aren't we eating glutinous rice balls?"

"Isn't Yuanxiao just tangyuan?" the butler replied, somewhat bewildered.

Little Yuzu shook her head: "Of course not! Yuanxiao is rolled out, while Tangyuan is wrapped."

Although the taste is pretty much the same.

"Okay, I understand!" The butler smiled and wrote it down.

Little Yuzu smiled and said, "Thank you for your help, Grandpa Butler!"

All the maids in the castle are on holiday today, only the butler is staying here.

"Ring ring ring".

The housekeeper had just left, and Xiaoyouzi was about to go back to her room to watch TV when her phone rang.

The caller ID showed Zhao Bin.

Little Youzi answered the phone and sweetly called out, "Uncle Zhao Bin, Happy Lantern Festival!"

Happy Lantern Festival, Little Pomelo.

Zhao Bin laughed when he heard Xiao Youzi's voice.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Xiaoyouzi asked, "What does Uncle Zhao Bin want with me? Is something wrong with my brother?"

"No, Luo Li is filming right now, and everything is fine."

Zhao Bin answered Xiaoyouzi's question, and then explained the purpose of his visit: "Xiaoyouzi, you haven't posted on Weibo for a long time."

"Please post this on Weibo today, everyone wants to see you."

These fans need to be maintained; otherwise, they will be lost.

Recently, Zhao Bin discovered that apart from the mom fans in the fan club, a small portion of Xiaoyouzi's other fans have left.

I unfollowed her because I hadn't seen any photos from her in a long time.

Although it's not much, we still need to consolidate it.

Little Yuzu readily agreed: "Okay, I'll think about what to send."

"Okay, send it to our studio later, we'll edit the photo for you and tag you in the comments."

Because Monica got involved, she set up a personal studio specifically for Xiaoyouzi to handle her work.

After hanging up the phone, Xiaoyouzi thought for a moment and decided to take some pictures of making dumplings later, and also post a picture of the Lantern Festival dumplings.

She lowered her head and opened Weibo to look at the posts from big stars.

Besides wishing others a happy holiday, most of the photos are taken.

Little Yuzu rested her chin on her hand and pondered, "Hmm... how about I take a set of photos too?"

"Forget it!" Little Yuzu immediately dismissed the idea: "Let's just post the photos Uncle Li took for me last time!"

Thinking about it, Xiaoyouzi opened WeChat and found Zhao Bin's chat window.

She told Zhao Bin about the photos she was going to post.

Sweet Pomelo: Uncle Zhao, will I send you the photos directly via WeChat?

Zhao Bin: Yes, we'll arrange the rest. You just need to retweet the Weibo post.

Sweet Pomelo: Okay, then please wait a moment, I need to take pictures while I'm making dumplings.

Zhao Bin: No problem, just give it to me today.

With this matter resolved, Zhao Bin and Xiaoyouzi both breathed a sigh of relief.

An hour later, the butler returned with large bags and small packages.

"Miss Yuzu, where do you plan to make dumplings?" the butler asked with great interest.

Little Yuzu's round eyes darted around as she said, "Let's do it right here on the coffee table!"

"OK."

The housekeeper wiped his hands, cleaned the coffee table, laid out plastic wrap, and then brought over the minced meat and flour.

The housekeeper took a stack of dough sheets from the bag and placed them next to Xiaoyouzi.

"I'll change my clothes first!" Smelling the aroma of minced meat, Xiaoyouzi went upstairs excitedly.

Today she's going to make dumplings for her mom and brothers!

I just don't know if my brother will be able to come back.

After changing into sportswear, Xiaoyouzi took her phone downstairs and made a call to Luo Li.

The phone rang for several minutes before it was answered.

"Brother!" Little Yuzu called out happily.

Luo Li paused, then her tired voice came through: "What does Xiao Youzi want from me?"

He had such a wonderful time during the Spring Festival that he hasn't had a break since he started working again.

Working 24/7, with rest time spent on transportation, it was incredibly tiring.

Upon hearing Luo Li's voice, Xiao Youzi's smile faded, and she asked with pursed lips, "Is brother coming back today?"

She didn't mention that she had made dumplings; she was simply testing the waters to see what Luo Li would say.

Luo Li pinched the bridge of her nose and said, "I'm not going back, I'm too tired."

"All right."

Little Yuzu hung up the phone in disappointment.

The butler, seeing this, couldn't bear it and comforted her, "Miss Yuzu, you can call and ask the young master. He will definitely come back."

"Okay!"

Xiaoyouzi regained her confidence and immediately made a phone call to Luo Chen.

Not long after, Luo Chen answered the phone: "Little Yuzu, what's up?"

The older brother's cold voice came from the other end of the phone, suggesting he was in a meeting; it wasn't as gentle as before.

After thinking for a moment, Little Yuzu asked, "Big brother, are you coming home for dinner today? It's the Lantern Festival!"

"Sorry, little Yuzu, I'm a bit busy today and can't go back."

The smile on Xiaoyouzi's face disappeared again, and a sense of loss welled up inside her.

She felt she was being pretentious.

I actually feel like crying.

My brothers aren't spending the holiday with me.

It must be because she's too busy; she's only so free because school hasn't started yet.

With a lump in her throat, Xiaoyouzi wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes.

"I see..."
