A gust of wind blew past the street corner.
Little Yuzu smoothed her hair, her smile fading.
She gripped the straps of her backpack again, her eyes turning icy as she stared at them: "Do you think I'm deaf?"
They're really loudly plotting something; they really don't respect anyone.
The girl next to the leader wasn't scared at all. Instead, she cupped her cheeks in her hands and smiled like a flower: "Little Yuzu looks like an adorable loli from an anime who just got out of school with her backpack. Who wouldn't like her!"
What a soft and cute girl!
I love it!
"Stop being a fangirl!"
The leader patted the girl on the shoulder, then looked at Xiaoyouzi: "Xiaoyouzi, don't look at us like that. We're just doing our jobs for money."
"Oh, and then?"
Little Yuzu was no longer the cute and innocent girl she once was. Instead, she gave everyone a cold glance and said, "You're taking money? How much money did you take? Who gave you the money? Was it Wen Sitian?"
As she spoke, she approached step by step, which surprised the group.
What, what happened?
It felt a little scary; my back was getting goosebumps.
"Yes or no?"
With Xiaoyouzi's next remark, everyone's hair stood on end.
This is something Xiaoyouzi learned from the movie; her acting skills taught her what tone to use in what situations.
Little Yuzu didn't miss the fleeting look of panic on their faces.
The eldest brother hurriedly denied it: "What Wen Sitian, no... we didn't say anything, you guessed it yourself."
This is no different from admitting it.
"As expected of Wen Sitian."
Little Yuzu scoffed, her tone quite disdainful: "She gives you money to bully me, but did she tell you that the money she paid you all came from my family?"
"That ungrateful wretch!"
Seeing the resentment on Xiaoyouzi's face, the boss who wanted the money paused for a moment, then said, "I don't care about any of that, let's go!"
They are all children from wealthy families, but it cannot be denied that they enjoy doing this kind of thing.
The boys in front were just about to make their move when the leader reached out his hand.
Before they even touched Xiaoyouzi, she suddenly fell backward, curled up on the ground, and cried out, "Waaah! You're bullying me!"
"No, we haven't even started yet!"
The boss panicked.
When Xiaoyouzi lay down, she remembered that she was wearing a dress, cleverly concealed by her schoolbag. She didn't roll around, but just lay on the ground shouting, "Teacher, someone hit me! Waaah! Mommy!"
Shouting for help when you're being beaten might not work, but calling for your mom is very effective.
People who normally never pass by this alley all gathered here.
There were a lot of middle-aged women who came.
"Hey, hey, hey, why are you bullying a child?"
"Poor little girl!"
"Get out of the way, let's help the child up."
Several adults tried to come over, but there were too many students, so they were all blocked.
The eldest brother repeatedly said, "We didn't bully her; she collapsed on her own."
"Who would believe that!" one of the older women said anxiously, trying to go over. The eldest sister, with a terrible headache, said, "Stop them."
The other women, seeing their school uniforms, hurried off to the school.
Upon hearing the news from nearby, the principal rushed over when he heard that people wearing his school uniforms were fighting in a group.
"What's going on?" The principal stood outside the crowd, his face filled with anger.
Little Yuzu, acting like a drama queen, lay on the ground looking like she was in pain: "Grandpa Principal, they hit me! They wanted to steal my food money!"
"My God, who is this person?!"
"Isn't this a prestigious private elementary school? Why would they do something like this?"
"The child lying on the ground is so pitiful."
The leader was completely bewildered, and more and more people joined in.
Hearing the commotion, not only the audience and the principal came, but also the security guards, teachers, and Wen Shuqin and his group.
Seeing Xiaoyouzi lying on the ground, Wen Tian ran faster than Wen Shuqin and rushed over to help Xiaoyouzi up: "Xiaoyouzi, how are you? Are you hurt?"
Her body trembled slightly; she had previously experienced school bullying and was extremely sensitive to such matters.
Little Yuzi reacted quickly, nudging Wen Tian and winking at her.
Wen Tian understood and secretly breathed a sigh of relief: "I'll help you up."
After being helped up, Xiao Youzi still had tears in the corners of her eyes, looking pitiful.
"You're not going to talk, are you?"
Seeing that the older children were silent, the principal looked at Xiaoyouzi and said in a much gentler tone, "Xiaoyouzi, you tell us what they did to you? If they hit you, we will punish them severely."
Little Yuzu's tears came easily, and she looked pitifully at the principal: "They bullied me! They even hit me!"
"You lot!" The principal looked at them coldly, then stared at the leader: "I know you, you are Zhao Xinya, Zhao Chenglin's daughter."
Zhao Xinya was sweating profusely: "Principal, please listen to me, I really didn't push her!"
"Yes, Principal, I've been wronged!"
"We didn't do anything!"
"Little Yuzu really fell by herself!"
The students behind them all loudly retorted.
They genuinely felt they had been wronged.
Standing to the side, Little Yuzu said pitifully, "It was me... I fell down by myself... *sob*"
The ending note sounds aggrieved.
Wen Tian steadily supported Xiao Youzi, while Wen Shuqin picked up her schoolbag for her.
Mu Siyu said to Xiaoyouzi again, "Yes, yes, you didn't push her. It was our Xiaoyouzi who fell so badly on her own."
"Aren't these dozen or so people gathered here to bully Xiaoyouzi? Or are they plotting something here?" Jiang Qian chimed in from the side.
