"Tick-tock, tick-tock."
The empty room was very dark; apart from a sliver of light at the door, it was pitch black everywhere else.
Visibility was low, but the sound of water droplets falling could be heard clearly.
"This is it."
Little Yuzi walked over to the thing that made Cheng Cheng scream.
Calling it an object is inaccurate; it should be described as a mummified corpse.
Little Yuzu examined it carefully and nodded in satisfaction: "This prop is very realistic."
The mummified corpse is a work of very high quality, from its facial expressions and limbs to the details.
In dim light, it's impossible to tell the difference between real and fake; making such a prop would take a considerable amount of time.
No wonder Cheng Cheng screamed.
But for Xiaoyouzi, the dried corpse had no yin energy and was just a fake, so she wasn't afraid.
Seeing Cheng Cheng still standing at the door, Xiao Youzi waved and said, "Brother Cheng Cheng, it's fake, come over here."
"I...I'm scared." Cheng Cheng quickly admitted defeat: "Seeing this thing makes my scalp tingle."
Little Yuzu nodded understandingly, "Okay then."
She turned her head and continued to observe the mummified corpse.
The mummified corpse in front of me was wearing a large black robe and looked like a priest who had come here to perform a ritual.
The priest was very thin; he was nothing but skin and bones.
"Um?"
Little Yuzu tilted her head and looked over curiously.
The priest's neck was bare, without the usual cross necklace.
He held one hand in front of his chest and raised the other hand high, as if holding something.
But that thing is gone.
"I wonder if the priest has any clues on him." Little Yuzu reached her hand towards the priest.
"No, don't touch him."
Cheng Cheng ran to Xiao Youzi's side in a panic, grabbing her hand: "That thing is terrifying, I don't even know if it has bacteria or anything..."
He felt goosebumps all over his body.
"But Brother Cheng Cheng, this is just a fake thing." Seeing that Cheng Cheng was very scared, Xiao Youzi could only pat him on the back: "You're too immersed in it, why don't you try to overcome it?"
Cheng Cheng shook his head, his face full of fear, and whispered, "I know, but I still can't control my fear. Isn't that embarrassing?"
"What's so shameful about you?"
Little Yuzu smiled and said to Cheng Cheng, "Everyone has things they're afraid of. It's okay to be afraid, there's no shame in it. I'll protect you!"
Cheng Cheng paused for a moment, then immediately gave Xiao Youzi a bear hug: "Waaah, Xiao Youzi, what would I do without you!"
Another day of being jealous of Luo Li.
"You still have Brother Xiao Ye~"
Little Yuzu smiled mysteriously: "You do have a bit of yin energy, but you'll be fine if you stay by Brother Xiao Ye's side. He's full of yang energy."
“That makes sense, but he’s busy with work right now.” Cheng Cheng pouted. “I haven’t seen him for days.”
The tone was very resentful.
Little Yuzi covered her mouth and giggled, whispering to Cheng Cheng.
The two people were gossiping with their heads down. The floating camera, which was originally quite far away, was now much closer, but they could only hear a little bit of sound.
Director Li frowned: I don't know what my daughter and Cheng Cheng were saying, they were so close that no one else could hear them.
Could it be that my daughter was deceived by Cheng Cheng and told him about her mission?
Impossible. My daughter is so smart, she would never be fooled.
Director Li, who couldn't hear anything, stared wide-eyed and scratched his head in frustration.
Not long after, the two parted ways.
"Tick-tock..."
The dripping sound continued. Little Yuzu sniffed, "It smells so oily. Let's keep exploring; we don't have much time left."
"good."
Little Yuzu turned on her phone's light and walked around the mummified corpse toward the workbench.
Cheng Cheng, who was behind him, swallowed hard, gripped the hem of his clothes tightly, and lowered his head: I can't see, I can't see.
He was brainwashing himself as he quickly passed by the mummified corpse, afraid that it might suddenly lash out at him.
After all, that's how haunted houses are.
"Phew..." Cheng Cheng finally breathed a sigh of relief after grabbing the hood of Xiaoyouzi's tracksuit.
Xiao Youzi glanced at Cheng Cheng and pointed to the edge of the table: "The sound is coming from here."
Cheng Cheng looked over.
An oil lamp was overturned on the table, and the oil inside slowly rolled to the edge of the table, dripping down one drop at a time, making a very clear sound as it hit the wooden floor.
It turned out that the dripping water wasn't water, but oil emitting a strange smell.
This oil is neither the usual transparent kerosene nor the pale yellow kerosene containing impurities.
It's red!
Everything seemed very strange.
"Little, little pomelo."
Cheng Cheng's voice trembled, making the hairs on his body stand on end in fright.
What else could be red? Blood, made of blood!
"Don't be afraid, don't worry about it, we need to hurry up and find a way out."
Seeing that he was still very scared, Little Yuzu said, "Then hold onto my hat and follow me."
Despite inwardly despising himself, Cheng Cheng still reluctantly pulled on Xiao Youzi's hat.
Little Yuzu didn't have time to pay attention to him anymore, her gaze intently scanning the area.
The upper part of the attic is smaller than the lower part.
The space is small, so there aren't many things to put there.
Little Yuzu retreated to the stairwell.
Cheng Cheng followed closely behind her.
Judging from the location of the stairwell, the layout here is divided into three parts.
On the left is a large, curved workbench filled with strange books, medicines, and a fish tank that is 80 centimeters long and 60 centimeters high.
