"Okay," Cheng Cheng replied softly.
As she spoke, Xiaoyouzi let go of Cheng Cheng's hand and turned on her phone's light: "Brother Cheng Chen, do you feel much better now?"
"Much better."
Little Yuzi glanced sideways but didn't see Cheng Cheng.
She turned around.
At this moment, Cheng Cheng nodded, reached out his hand to Xiao Youzi's hat, and grabbed it tightly.
Xiao Youzi smiled helplessly, ignored Cheng Cheng, and walked forward.
The corridor was completely silent, and the courtyard outside was pitch black.
When they arrived, it was almost dark. Now, so much time has passed, it's completely dark, and even the chase can only be carried out with the lights on.
With the lights off outside, the entire castle felt even more eerie and terrifying.
You can't see anything when you look from the inside out.
But Xiaoyouzi knew that the director and his team were monitoring the situation from a campervan behind a tree not far away.
The two walked inside.
"Brother Cheng Cheng, there are so many rooms here!" Little Youzi pretended to be surprised, acting as if it was her first time here.
Cheng Cheng was also very surprised: "There are rooms all over here. What kind of family would arrange rooms like this?"
"I don't know. It would be quite troublesome to read them one by one." Little Yuzu frowned.
Although there are some clues, nothing has been encountered, and the conditions for triggering the item have not yet been met.
Cheng Cheng said from the side, "Let's look at them one by one, we're bound to find some clues."
Xiaoyouzi has clues, but she can't reveal them now. She can only slowly guide Cheng Cheng in another direction.
The most urgent task is to find a master map so that we can accurately locate the treatment room.
Xiaoyouzi agreed to Cheng Cheng's suggestion: "Okay."
"Let's go to the first room first." Cheng Cheng looked around and finally pulled Xiao Youzi towards the first room.
"Click." With a gentle press on the doorknob, the door opened.
Cheng Cheng was pleasantly surprised: "The door wasn't locked from the inside."
"Don't get so excited." Little Yuzu frowned slightly, looking at the dark room.
Something unusual must be going on.
Xiao Youzi didn't relax at all, even though she could stand at the door with Cheng Cheng for a minute. Instead, her brows furrowed even more.
Something's not right. There's someone in here.
"Let me see if there are any lights. I can't stay here forever, can I?" Cheng Cheng went in and reached out to touch things, but he couldn't find anything.
Cheng Cheng looked completely bewildered: "There's no place to turn on the lights in this room?"
"That would be even more problematic."
Hearing what Xiaoyouzi said, Cheng Cheng was completely distraught.
He was already afraid of these things, and now he retreated directly from the room to the doorway, not daring to move an inch.
Seeing this, Xiaoyouzi suggested, "Although there are no lights, we still have our phones, so let's use them to look around."
“Okay.” Cheng Cheng took out his phone and shone the light inside.
The entire room was pitch black, with almost no light.
Even when the phone shines its light in, the visible area is not much.
Cheng Cheng felt a cold sweat break out on his back.
He reached out and grabbed Xiaoyouzi's hat, trembling.
Xiao Youzi took two steps inside, and Cheng Cheng followed behind.
The lights moved inward as they moved.
"Bang!"
At that moment, an unexpected change occurred!
"ah!"
Screams erupted.
A person suddenly appeared in the stark white light.
The person, dressed in a Filipino maid's uniform and with disheveled hair, suddenly appeared from behind the bed.
She screamed and ran out.
Her voice was so sharp and piercing that even Xiaoyouzi couldn't help but cover her ears.
The Filipino maid ran out and shoved the two of them aside, then ran straight into the dark corridor.
It can run so fast even in complete darkness.
Cheng Cheng was completely stunned, and her phone fell to the ground with a "thud".
He stammered, "Little...Little Yuzu, did you see that? Is it a ghost?"
The Filipino maid who rushed out earlier has caused Cheng Cheng a great deal of psychological trauma.
"I saw it. It was a woman with disheveled hair running out. She's a person, don't be afraid." Xiaoyouzi remembered that Cheng Cheng was afraid of ghosts and quickly comforted him.
There was no way around it; although Cheng Cheng was easy to fool, he was genuinely scared.
Cheng Cheng suddenly felt weak in the knees and squatted down, hugging Xiao Youzi's legs: "Xiao Youzi, this is so scary!"
"Don't be afraid, don't worry, she's a living person and won't cause you any trouble. She's just an NPC."
Little Yuzu sighed: We must improve Cheng Cheng's mental fortitude, otherwise he'll be scared out of his wits if we ever encounter him again.
With Xiaoyouzi's comforting words, Cheng Cheng felt much better.
Relieved, Xiaoyouzi was about to help Cheng Cheng up.
"ah!"
The Filipino maid screamed and ran out of the darkness.
Little Yuzu instinctively shone her phone light over the area.
Now look even more like a vengeful ghost.
"ah!"
Cheng Cheng screamed and hugged Xiao Youzi's leg tightly.
Cheng Cheng completely forgot about things like not being afraid.
Her calves were sore from being squeezed so tightly, and Xiaoyouzi couldn't help but reach out and pinch Cheng Cheng's wrist: "Brother Cheng Cheng, can you please stop squeezing me? My legs really hurt."
"I'm sorry, Xiaoyouzi, but I'm really scared, really!" Cheng Cheng assured her repeatedly, loosening her grip slightly, but still not daring to look up.
He had just said he would protect Xiaoyouzi, but now he wished he could hide in a crack in the ground.
Little Pomelo sighed helplessly: Fine, I'll forgive him.
The Filipino maid ran over and lunged at the two of them fiercely.
