Chapter 307 The Nanny's Work Log

As they continued flipping through the pages, Xiaoyouzi and the others found an even more disorganized diary.

[Oh my god, the male homeowner has gone mad too! He bit the female homeowner, thankfully we discovered it in time! But when did he get those two deep holes in his wrist? When? I don't know. I wanted to leave, but the female homeowner begged me to stay.]

The woman is on the verge of a mental breakdown; she's gone to see a priest. Is there any hope for us?

Father?

Cheng Cheng and Xiao Youzi exchanged a glance and immediately thought of the priest inside the stone tower, whose body had been drained of blood and was now just a withered corpse.

"Then it must be him, but judging from the situation, the priest isn't doing too well either." Little Yuzu sighed.

Cheng Cheng also said, "Indeed."

Looking further, it was indeed the Filipino maid's handwriting, written in a state of collapse.

Even the priest couldn't manage. He was injured, covered in blood, and walked out of the bedroom. His clothes were torn to shreds. Was this really a priest? He looked like he couldn't hold on any longer.

Today, the mistress, having tied up the young master and master, took the priest, who was now dressed again and looked haggard, to the stone tower. She heard there was something there.

[They haven't come out for two days. I was so curious, I followed them. The priest was sitting on the platform of the magic array, all his blood drained. My master and the others are gone! What kind of terrifying place is this? I have to run away!!!]

It escaped with three exclamation marks following it, almost taking flight.

Cheng Cheng looked at the contents of the diary and rubbed his goosebumps: "Little Youzi, this place is terrifying."

"Since she keeps saying she wants to run away, why doesn't she leave?" Little Yuzu asked rhetorically.

The two continued watching.

The following entries in the diary were undated, consisting only of jumbled sentences.

[I can't escape! There's no way out! I feel dizzy as soon as I step outside, what's going on?]

So many people have disappeared. Where did they go? Did they abandon me and run away?

[So many bodies have appeared, but there's no blood. Will I be next?]

[Please don't let it be me, please don't! I'm so scared. Nobody can leave. Are we trapped?]

Why is my daughter working here? Who tricked her into coming here?

[She's gone! My daughter is gone! Give her back to me!]

The following words became increasingly incoherent, and the handwriting was almost illegible. The two of them examined the words one by one, but they couldn't make heads or tails of it.

Flip to the end of the log, and there's only one sentence left.

I've taken it all. Now it's quiet. Let me die here.

"Took it? Did she get the key? Does that mean the priest might have actually managed to lock the demon inside something, and the maid took the key?" Little Yuzu's series of questions went unanswered.

However, through the Filipino maid's diary, she still managed to connect many things together.

"It's terrifying," Cheng Cheng commented.

Little Yuzu put the logbook into the bag: "Let's go, let's keep looking."

The two began searching the house again...
